The hotel is perfect but the staff is what makes the stay exceptional !!! From the housemaids to the reception everyone was willing and helpful proving that hospitality is truly a science to be mastered. The rooms are modern, spacious and sparkling clean the shower is relaxing and they provide everything you need ! Needed a kettle and was provided with one in a minute. We were to leave too early to get breakfast so sandwiches and fruits were given to us upon check out which we greatly appreciated ! Location is great. Would book here if ever I needed to stay in Nicosia again.

I stayed at MAP Boutique Hotel for a friend's wedding. It is by far one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in and well-located; numerous tourist attractions (e.g. Cyprus Museum, Ledra Street & Leventis Gallery) were within walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive and polite; they left no stone unturned to make you feel welcome and to address any queries. Breakfast was varied and the dry cleaning service excellent and well-priced. I look forward to visiting again.

I've stayed at the MAP hotel a few times now and in my opinion, it is the best hotel in Nicosia by far. First of all, its location is exquisite - between the Centre ("Emboriko Kentro") and the Old Town - every major site in Nicosia is within 5-30 minutes walking distance (or 5 minutes drive) from the hotel. The interior design of the rooms is wonderful, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant also serves very good food, both for breakfast and dinner. The gym is also of an elevated standard. I greatly appreciate the aesthetic of the hotel - the attention to detail everywhere is magnificent!

We had an amazing stay at Map Boutique Hotel in Nicosia! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location of the hotel is also excellent—just a short walk from the city center and all the historic streets, making it very convenient for exploring. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and would definitely stay here again!

We had an issue with the room we were assigned, we had booked one of the rooms with the panoramic bathrooms, the hotel upgraded us to the "penthouse" however in our opinion this was far less luxurious than the room we booked. After a bit of back and forth with the hotel staff they made the necessary arrangements to move us back to our original room, which was fantastic! Even though we were probably very annoying for the staff they were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole situation and appreciated our feedback on the room they had upgraded us to (which was a kind gesture in the first instance)

The penthouse is not nearly as nice as some of the rooms on the lower levels. The room we originally booked was huge (had two toilet areas), panoramic views (from the bath), a separate sitting area and a very comfortable, large bed. Breakfast in the restaurant the next morning was really good and the staff were friendly and attentive.

MAP looks very fresh, so it is probably a very modern hotel. It had a lot of design work to it. We booked a penthouse suite and it was definitely worth the extra money. The majority of rooms have an amazing view of the Nicosia old town and the Venetian walls. The location gets 10 out of 10 and the view gets 10 out of 10. The suite was huge, spotless and efficently organised. Staff was excellent. The on-site restaurant serves only the a la carte breakfast (i.e. no buffet) which comes at no extra charge if you book a breakfast meal plan with your room rate.

Two negative points. First, there were two TVs in the suite, one in the bedroom area and the other one in the seating area. I can see why the designer wanted it this way, but the problem was that the second TV kept on switching on when we operated the first TV. It simply caught the signal from the remote control and acted on it. This was truly annoying, and we wished that the second TV was not there at all. The second point was very odd: there was no shaver socket in the bathroom. I was told that this is "for safety reasons", but what about all other countries in the world having sockets in bathrooms? This is perhaps something to do with local regulations since it was weird to shave and dry in the main room.

Delicious breakfast featuring fresh halloumi and marvelous yoghurt. The gym is very complete and in great condition. The staff was friendly and helped us with multiple questions about Nicosia; they also connected us to a very good rental car agency. The room was very comfortable, as was the bathroom and balcony. I liked the smart electronics and the location was ideal for appreciating Nicosia.

The hotel has beautiful trees around it -- and these have grown, such that the beautiful tree partially obscures the beautiful view of 16th century Venetian ramparts. A bit of a pity. But a bird's nest in the tree was also interesting to observe from the balcony.

Service at breakfast was impeccable, excellent quality of a la carte breakfast items delivered as fast as it gets. The Spa having a 15% discount on stays made it an excellent value for money choice compared to other 5 star hotel and spas we’ve been and our therapists were two of the best we’ve ever had. 10/10 5* spa service.

Noise! We were on the first floor facing the road and we could hear the traffic and that road has traffic 24/7. Could and should be much better soundproofed. Huge omission from the planning stage of this otherwise fantastic city hotel. And a small detail: Overhead shower too close to the wall.

On this one day of business, we thought we'd seek something different and MAP boutique hotel delivers this in spades. It looks so architecturally different from the outside.and even the entrance door is different. In a black and white colour palette, its monumental feel as you walk in isn't overpowering, which is a surprise. The spa is in the basement, next to the gym. The breakfast room is where many visitors or Nicoseans come also for lunch and cocktails and is full of good art. The rooms are playful but highly practical with 2 loos, one being a night loo, the other in the highly technical bathroom with cream pod inserts that look like Nespresso pods, for the shower if you want. The lighting buttons are strange but take time getting used to until you master them. This is a hotel you could stay in for several days as it's roomy and has lots of storage spaces. Our room looked like a suite, had a Nespresso machine and superior tea choices. Nicosia is in the 21st century and MAP is its showcase. The staff is intelligent and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Night lighting for the bathroom needs to be perfected so you don't get blinded when you wake in the middle of the night..

Large clean, modern, comfortable room with small balcony next to Eleftheria Square and the old city center. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The king-size bed was firm enough for us, but not hard. Breakfast was very good with enough options for a three- night stay. Close to shopping, restaurants, cafes, and museums.

The elevator has a video screen playing one music and fashion video that is unnecessary. The automatic lighting in the wardrobe does not turn off unless you turn off all power in the room. It is on a very busy 4-lane road with lots of traffic and minimal soundproofing. We slept fine, but some will want earplugs.
