A great hotel with a special atmosphere and a great location. We arrived by car and although parking in front of the hotel was not guaranteed, we were lucky. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is of the expected standard, but does not offer anything special.

We specifically chose a room that was described as having a view of the city and landmarks. Therefore, of course, we had to pay a higher price. Unfortunately, we were not given such a room (T3). Our disappointment was somewhat compensated for by the fact that the room in the Gothic tower had a special atmosphere.

Truly excellent location best in the centre i say. A little quieter but you can walk ten mins into the main square I would highly recommend for the location. Lots of places to eat and see within walking distance, next to the gorgeous Charles bridge too. The hotel Staff are really friendly, helpful lovely people.

No outdoor seating for coffee or just to relax. Breakfast was very disappointing sadly, old fruit, no individual yoghurts and a lack of healthy cereals. My room 31 had a lovely view and was very spacious but was looking a little tired in areas wallpaper peeling and lots of marks on the bathroom door, didn’t feel very luxurious. The bed was so hard I didn’t sleep well, I was also very cold at night even with the extra blanket provided even though the weather was warm. The coffee machine was a great bonus but leaked everywhere each day I had to keep mopping up the water.

The Bishop’s House was at the center of historical Old town Prague and is just about 2 minutes walk to the famous Charles Bridge. It is about 7 minutes walk to Our Lafy of Victorious Church which houses the Holy Infant Jesus that we visited everyday. It was close to restaurants and shopping areas. It is about 15 minutes walk to Prague Castle. Prague was walkable because of Holtel’s location and there were no pickpockets. Area was very safe, but you have to be careful. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was perfect. There was coffee 24/7. They had free pastries all day. Helena has outstanding customer service, she arranged all our day trips, the luxury evening boat cruise dinner which was spectacular and unforgettable. Helena arranged our top notch restaurant reservations and the Vivaldi concert. The property was immaculate. There was a restaurant as soon as you got out the door of hotel U Patrona that was excellent. I would go back to Bishop’s House in Heart beat. I’m grateful for that incredible experience.

Honestly—everything! Bishop’s House is a beautiful, historic building with a lot of character and a modern touch. The lobby is cozy and welcoming, with complimentary water, cookies, and snacks available in the afternoon—a really nice touch after a day of exploring. Our room was clean, spacious, and modern, with a great mix of comfort and charm. One of the highlights was the heated floor in the bathroom—such a treat! We also loved the view from our room, which overlooked the street and had gorgeous old-style windows that really added to the atmosphere. The breakfast was very good—plenty of options, served in a bright and spacious dining area. It had everything we needed to start the day. And the location? Exceptional. Just steps from Charles Bridge and an easy walk to Prague Castle, with lots of great restaurants nearby. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

There really wasn’t much I didn’t like. If I had to mention something, the stairs might be a bit challenging for some guests, though this is to be expected in a historic building. Also, while the breakfast was very good overall, a few more bread and fruit options would make it even better. But these are very minor things—overall, I loved everything about the hotel.

Bishop’s House was in an ideal location at the foot of Charles Bridge in Mala Strana, perfect for exploring both sides of the river. The hundreds year old building coupled with the contemporary design was cool, and our room actually had an original little chapel in it that was carved out of the thick old walls. Alice, the receptionist/concierge was delightful and so very welcoming and helpful. She booked a last minute reservation for us at an exquisite restaurant called V Zlatisi, which made for a perfect ending to our trip. Highly recommend Bishop’s House and especially the hospitality Alice showed us. Thank you!

My wife loved this hotel, and she's quite fussy. Considering it's located right next to Charles Bridge with busy restaurants nearby, it is remarkably quiet, even in our room which was overlooking the street. I would imagine that rooms at the rear of the hotel are even quieter. The staff were all excellent, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts (plus the complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival). In my opinion, this side of the river (Mala Strana) is the best side to stop on in Prague anyway - just don't tell everybody! We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing.

The place is very well located, right in the centre. The staff is very nice, there is a man at the reception who was very kind to us and he would always stand up when greeting us. The place is cleaned very well and still feels mostly new, even though it was renovated in 2015. The mattress is very comfortable and also the fact that you get two blankets even for double beds is nice - no more fighting over one with your patner. The breakfast was very good, even if mostly repetitive. The pancakes were the best I've ever tasted.

The pillows were too flat and a bit uncomfortable for us. Also, in our room we had only one chair, maybe two chairs would be better since two people are in the room. If you need complete silence, be aware that the rooms facing the street are not the most silent, you will hear some cars entering that area (which btw is a dead-end street) because of the road made from cobblestone that makes a bit of noise. Nothing too bad though.

The hotel is in a fabulous location for a visit to Prague. It is very close to Charles Bridge but in a quiet area. Within walking distance of Prague castle, the old town square and astronomical clock, the Jewish quarter and other popular sites. The reception staff are very helpful. The room was big with everything you need. Breakfast is buffet style and plentiful. And there are numerous restaurants nearby. Recommend getting Uber from the airport as streets have cobbled stones which are not kind to suitcases Uber is quite cheap in Prague as are public transport options.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Prague. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with large, comfortable beds—though the pillows could be improved. The bathrooms were also very nice, but unfortunately, the hairdryer in one of our rooms didn’t work properly. The reception staff were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The location was perfect for us, just across the Charles Bridge from the Old Town, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was quite basic, but I haven’t rated the hotel lower as this may simply be the standard in Prague. Overall, a great stay with just a few minor areas for improvement. Would recommend!

Pillows could be improved and the breakfast is very basic.

Excellent location some 25 m from Charles Bridge but in a very quite cul-de-sac away from the crowds. Helpful reception staff . We had room 2 in the ancient tower, which was massive with a comfortable king size bed & great bathroom. Warm under floor heating but air conditioning for the warmer months. Fantastic breakfast which catered for all tastes, including lots of fresh fruit. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere with some great plant wall features

Circular steps up to bedroom but these were mentioned in booking. No views out of the bedroom window except other close buildings which was a shame. The bathroom window looked out on a air-conditioning and narrow gap between buildings.
