The location was amazing near all the touristy spots and cafes

The AC was really bad i booked it because it says they have AC but unfortunately it wasn’t working properly and i asked several times for support to fix it but they aren’t supporting, also the breakfast wasn’t good.

The location of this hotel is amazing. We love this area. The room was absolutely stunning, huge, and spotlessly clean. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Couldn't recommend this place enough. The breakfast is lovely. Lots of choice and everything is very fresh.

The only thing to note is that there is a club downstairs, so it can get noisy in the evening, but there's nothing the hotel can do about that. We had our 6 year old with us and she slept just fine, so it's not too bad.

The location in Mala Strana is ideal. So close to Charles Bridge, but a bit off the beaten path. The staff were delightful and so helpful. (Ask for help with taxis because they can get great rates.) The room was wonderful and loved the authentic style and decor. The breakfast included was fabulous! Facilities and rooms updated but still have the old world charm. Loved the quaintness of the property. It isn't large, so has a very cozy feel.

There is a dance/music club next door, which during the hours of 11pm - 3am can be very noisy if in the room directly above. Be sure to request "quiet room" in advance. We checked in late and booked a suite. This was the only one left, so we did not know until the club opened. We did request to be moved and were accomodated after guests checked out. It is a shame this club exists directly next door. I share this because it is truly loud, but we really did love the hotel outside of this one rather important detail.

Spent 8 wonderful nights over Christmas in this beautiful hotel that is fantastically located near The Charles Bridge. We left the hotel and felt like we were leaving extended family behind and they are very special people indeed. Kind, warm, welcoming, always smiling and spoiling guests with an attitude that clearly impresses that nothing is too much trouble if you have any questions or requests. We were given a free upgrade to an Executive Suite and it was so beautifully decorated and ornate in a typical old world charm of Prague but with all the modern amenities. Special mention must be made of Kristina and Yohannes. Two of the most helpful, kind and gentle people we have ever met. Always finding time to assist, ensuring us and all their guests are comfortable and extremely attentive to their guests needs. Kristina willingly engages with people and is very helpful with suggestions for opera, museums & musicals. Yohannes always ready with a big warm welcome, a chat and big smile. Thank you to Lucky and his team at The Charles Hotel, you are doing an incredible job of making visitors from around the world feel very welcome in Prague......The Charles Hotel is our home away from home and Christmas 2022 will certainly be a memory that we will cherish. Thank you for making our stay so special!!!!!

Location excellent so close to Charles's bridge, Castle, Old Time Square

Evening male receptionist was very rude and arrogant and unhelpful. Lights in the corridor were on timer, 1st sensor was away from our room so we had to walk in complete darkness for 2m. Decor.

This is the third time when we stay at "The Charles" while in Prague. It is always a great pleasure to be there. The hotel has a great location near Charles bridge, the town centre attractions and Prague Castle. There are also beautiful souvenir shops, a grocery, restaurants and pubs nearby. The hotel's interior is very special featuring Baroque-style furniture and wooden beamed ceilings. Walls are beautifully decorated with mural paintings. Rooms are spacious providing all facilities for tourists to feel comfortable. This time our room had a nice view onto the street outside. The bathroom is shining with cleanliness and towels are changed every day. A great surprise was the breakfast offering a huge variety of foodstuffs and delicacies, some of them home made, fresh juices and fruits. Healthy food is an unalienable part of the rich breakfast. A great advantage of "The Charles" Hotel is the staff which is always smiling and very helpful.

During our short vacation in Prague we did not notice any part of the room or the hotel as a whole that would need repair or improvement.

Our stay at the Charles Hotel was quite pleasant. Among the highlights is the central and beautiful location (close to public transport and sights) as well as the lovely breakfast that had a great variety of sweet and savoury options to choose from, hot and cold dishes and many beverages. The staff was very helpful, allowing us to store our luggage in the hotel before check-in and after check-out free of charge. Our room was very spacious and clean with a renovated bathroom, central heating and a portable heating unit. All appliances were working as intended and the WiFi was reliable. A value-for-money choice for everyone seeking a central but a bit quieter stay with a traditional feel!

😁 Reception staff very friendly & helpful Made me feel so welcome Hotel is in an ideal location & close to a small supermarket cafe & restaurants My room was on 2nd floor (there is a small lift to use ) It was quiet & peaceful Bed very comfortable Shower wasnt draining well & shower door could do with renewing but otherwise good bathroom Breakfast was wonderful Fabulous range of things to eat Staff worked hard to keep everything well stocked . I loved the breakfast room the murals were beautiful As a lone traveller it gave me something to look at. 🙁I love the baroque style But decorators were in the building painting and I feel the hotel might loose the quaintness & feel of the place The entrance is now covered in dark wood which doesnt suit ambiance of the hotel I hope the wonderful murals will not be painted over The ceiling in my room is beautiful .. I would say to it would be a nice touch to have slippers in the room

Location was super easy to get to from airport by public transport, perfectly tucked down a side street of the main street down to the Charles bridge. (we personally didn't get bored of the views in this area) First of all the welcome we got from receptionist was always amazing, if you get Gabriel you know you are in for a great stay! The room had a very comfy bed and the tv has Netflix and Amazon which you can sign in on which we made use of. Spacious bathroom, shower head had different settings and actual bathtub was a good size. Breakfast buffet greeted with Henry every morning with his lovely smile which made me smile in the morning! The food was nice and fresh and topped up efficiently!

room turned out to be over a late night bar so the bass came through till 2/3 am but we just tried to drown it out with rain noises/ sleep music

The Charles Hotel, located in Prague's historic Malá Strana district, is a testament to the city's rich architectural heritage. Housed in a medieval building, the hotel has been meticulously restored to preserve its original features. This is my 4th stay at The Charles hotel and this has always been my preferred location since first staying here in 2017. The hotel staff (especially Christy, Meto and Johannas ) are very accommodating and the restaurant staff are always very alert and attentive. I was very blessed to have been upgraded to room 329, one of the beautifully restored suites which made my stay extra enjoyable. Staying at The Charles Hotel offers guests an immersive experience into Prague's architectural splendor, providing a unique opportunity to live amidst history while exploring the timeless beauty of Malá Strana.

The hotel is did some upgrades in the lobby which is kinda modern looking and this is not complementing the old rich baroque look of the hotel. It would have been better if they did the upgrades while maintaining the original look and feel of the hotel. Also, the shower fittings in my bathroom was located in such an angle that it was almost impossible not to wet the bathroom floor while showering.
