The location was perfect right at the end of the charles bridge and so close to the train station. It was easy taking public transport from the airport to the hotel. The hotel itself is an older building and has a lot of character. It really gives the prague experience. If your expecting a modern hotel this won't be the place for you but you would be missing out on the full experience. Wifi isn't great all across the hotel we moved from the 4th floor to the 3rd where it was perfect! You have go down tk the first floor to make tea etc as rooms don't have those facilties but it wasn't an issue. The beds were comfy shower was clean and the view was insane! Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great too - a great mixture of things to eat. I've shared a photo of my window view!

If i had to be really fussy maybe stronger wifi but we moved floors so it wasn't an issue i think if we couldn't move floors and stayed on the 4th floor where it was weak then it would have been.

I loved the location of the hotel! It definitely promotes the historical feel of Prague and the location is by the Charles Bridge. The metro/tram links nearby did definitely made the commute around the prague or even to/back to the airport feel so easy! Also, what I loved about the hotel is a high amount of leaflets of attractions available to you in Prague - definitely a benefit when you’re not a planner.

The rooms were a bit outdated, and we had the issues with the shower as it was gathering water at the bottom within 2 mins (definitely a challenge when shampooing/conditioning your hair) We are both modest, unproblematic travelers, but I can confidently say this is not a 4 star hotel, it felt like a 3 star hotel at tops (based on the outdated look of the rooms) and the ovarall carpentary of the room.

Excellent value for money. Stylish furniture and ceilings, historical building, cozy, warm, charming atmosphere. Breakfast had a wide selection of dishes and was very tasty, especially grilled tomatoes. By the way, they have normal tea on the 1st floor available at all times, teabags but much better quality than one can usually find in a hotel. There was coffee as well but I haven't tried it.

My window was facing Charles bridge with endless crowds of tourists. Since it was a very cold night and off-season (March), it was quiet and I slept perfectly. But I'd imagine that during high season it's better to choose a room with windows NOT facing the Bridge))

MAGNIFICENT apartment in what is likely the busiest intersection in the town. The location is central to the tourist area, an easy walk to the Castle or anything else on typical plans, really. The apartment we had was not in the main building in the photographs; it's maybe 50 meters away, on floor 2 of a building that houses multiple dwellings. The building has multiple keyed gates and a fob-operated elevator, and our room was secure and warm. LOTS of windows to open if needed, and the staff quickly replaced a floor fan that had lost a critical bolt. Breakfast includes a wide array of food and coffee and juices, and the staff turns tables and replenishes depleted items quickly. Reception happily stored our luggage for a few hours when we learned we needed it, no questions asked. This apartment is above multiple retail establishments in one of the busiest places in the tourist part of the city. If you are seeking quiet solitude, this is not that. There is a sea of people constantly within sight and earshot. Keep in mind these businesses have to accept deliveries around 3-4AM, and the delivery people and their machinery do not care if you are trying to sleep. That said, the bed is quite comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water for the soaking bath. Apartment was as described. Book this place now if you've done your homework and are still considering it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kampa annex of the U 3 Pstrosu. The apartment was on the ground floor of a building on the banks of the Vltava just below Charles Bridge, the location was excellent. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, the breakfast (in the main hotel) was great and the people were friendly and helpful. Bear in mind that the apartment is in and old building so expect "rustic shabby chic" and embrace the history.

The bathroom has a handheld shower over the bath but no shower curtain, breakfast would benefit from a toaster.

The hotel is in a prime location on the end of the Charles bridge. We stayed in the Mostecka Annex apartment which is located opposite the main hotel, and enclosed in a charming, secure little courtyard. The apartment was wonderful and spacious, with high ceilings. It was lovely to relax in, after a days exploring Prague. The reception and staff were very helpful, and a pleasure to speak with. The breakfast was tasty, and made a good start to the day, with fruits, breads, yogurt, hams and cheeses, and eggs and cooked meats.

Location was perfect for my plans. As a solo traveler, it was important for me to feel safe. The room I was given was very large and comfortable, plus I had beautiful view out if it's windows. I was given a 3rd floor room, and there wasn't an elevator, so that could be a problem for some guests - but it worked well for me. I was given help taking my luggage upstairs and bringing it down before checking out. The breakfast served was quite nice and suited my needs and preferences. Overall, I'd love to stay there again, and recommend it to others.

No complaints. If I have to nitpick, there was a mosquito that kept going for my legs when I sat at the desk - day and night. I didn't know how to ask for a bug repellent, so I just dealt with it by wearing socks and pants.

Hotel U 3 Pstrosu in Prague is a true gem in every sense. Its location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, and the hotel itself is a beautiful place with a fascinating history. The staff's attention is exceptional always kind and attentive. A fantastic bonus is the unlimited coffee and tea on the first floor, available at any time, a detail that truly makes a difference. Plus, the breakfast is spectacular, with delicious options to start the day in the best way. An unforgettable experience in a magical city!

The location was exceptional and so was the staff. Super friendly and welcoming, even though it is a stressful time and it was really hot outside. The breakfast was also very nice and had a lot of variety. Neutral remarks: They have AC in the rooms which is great. Unfortunately it didn't really work for us for a couple of reasons: It wasn't attached properly to the window and came undone. Since the hose didn't really fit the mount, it couldn't be fixed easily. Also the unit was pretty loud. It did have a sleep mode, but the remote didn't work with the unit, so you couldn't switch to this mode. I assume these are no general issues, so I don't include this in my rating. We picked a small room with a view and didn't regret. Yes, the room is really tiny, but we didn't intend to stay in the room during the day anyways, so it was totally sufficient for us. We could see the last part of the bridge and the gate which was cool. I was a bit worried it might be too noisy at night, but it was okay. They have a mini bar in the room. I travel on a budget, therefore I would have preferred a (at least partially) empty fridge instead to be able to cool my own things.

Wifi was very unstable and did cut out completely quite often. We had a room which was rather centrally located on the floor, not even a room in a corner. Still the Access Point wasn't able to provide a sufficient signal. It worked in other parts of the hotel like the restaurant, but not in our room. In my opinion, a stable Wifi in every room should be standard, even in cheaper hotels.

A beautiful ancient building, with some painting on exposed beams and plasterwork preserved and displayed. The key attraction is the fantastic location at the west end of the Charles Bridge, 10 minutes walk to Prague Castle and 10 mins walk to the Old Town Square. The rooms are light and airy, some overlooking the Bridge itself. The hotel also has a prime spot for a restaurant/lunch outside right next to the Bridge. The breakfasts had everything anyone could want from European breakfasts, cold meats and cheeses, hot meats, eggs, vegetables, fruit, juice, pancakes, croissants, and 6 types of local bread/rolls. The charming receptionist couldn't have been more helpful; storing luggage before/after check in/check out and even providing a euro plug adapter as I'd forgotten mine.
