What a lovely hotel and what a perfect location in one the most beautiful European cities! We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was just perfect. At the foot of Prague Castle, the pretty burough of Malá Strana and a few minutes walking to Old Town Prague and the Jewish Quarter, this small boutique hotel has everything to make our stay very memorable. We were welcomed at the hotel by Daniel, the sweetest and nicest guy. When we got to our room, there was a cold bottle of bubbles, a bottle of red wine, some snacks and a big heart of rose petals on the bed waiting for us to celebrate our honeymoon, arranged by Daniel. It was such a sweet gesture! The bed is very good and the room was very spacious with high ceilings. Outside noise is completely blocked out by the double windows. Breakfast, which is included, is amazing. So much choice! The hotel also has a very nice small, intimate garden to relax in. If we would go back to Prague, we would definitely book this hotel again!

Perfect location central to the castle complex and old town square. Easy access to everything that is Prague with public transit out front, although we never needed it because we were in the center of everything we wanted to see. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety of ftesh options. The vaulted rooms and staircases with back patios were great. The front desk staff was very helpful. They were able to arrange local concerts for us. The only weird thing was we had to go take out cash to pay for it. They couldn't do it with a card, but the voucher they gave us got us into the concerts fine.

The only drawbacks would be distance to parking. It is across the river, and paying for it was confusing. Another issue was in our room was there was a bath with a shower wand but no actual shower stall or enclosure. If you don't sit in the tub, water will splash on the floor, counter, walls etc. The final quirk would only be an issue if you can't use stairs. The main lobby is up half a flight of stairs from the entrance. The elevator stops on landings between floors, so go one level above and ealk down. It is also impressively small, so 2 people really fit tight with any luggage . We took the stairs most of the time.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk from Malostranska metro & steps to Prague castle. Less than a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge and 5 minutes walk to Bake house cafe serving great pastries and coffee ( Australian Standard). Very spacious room, the biggest one we had in our travels and it was great to be able to open a window and let some fresh air in. Fantastic view across to Prague Castle.

The lift is very small and claustrophobic, it is big enough for one person and 2 suitcases and that's a tight fit. The lift weirdly stops between floors so you need to carry your bags either up or down.

The location of this hotel is better than you can imagine. The city is small enough to easily travel around on foot but also just outside there is a tram service which goes very often. The view we had was looking out onto the castle which was stunning! When checking in there was a lovely younger man working which was very good and chatty. We had noted on our booking that we were there for our anniversary and he congratulated us on this which was very nice of him and also left us a gift in our room. The rooms were very grand and comfortable bedding. Found it a little chilly but we were there in January while it was very cold out (-5 one night). The bathrooms are lovely and the products they provide are very luxurious.

We found the breakfast a little underwhelming. We may have gone down a little too late but we couldn't find milk for cereals or coffees. The coffee machine that morning was also acting up so we couldn't use that properly.

10/10 for bathroom / robe facilities; quality L'Occitane toiletries; Best Towels, hand towels plus face washers; bathrobes; Spacious separate sitting area including desk; well appointed bedroom; music themed decor; Friendly helpful staff;

The lift doorways are at a different level to the room entry due to an architectural limitation (this has been commented as a negative by other guests); but this was not a big issue for us as Philip was a great help, he carried the luggage to the room.

Absolutely perfect location right by the newer bridge to Old Town - five mins walk. Also five minutes walk to Charles Bridge. Also five minutes from the entrance to Prague Castle. If needed tram stops opposite hotel. We walked everywhere as everywhere is so nearby. Excellent hotel. Entry Pass to come and go at all times. Lovely room overlooking a sturnnign view of Prague Castle and the city. Even a sunset over this amazing view. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Lots of stairs as there are five floors in this gorgeous period boutique hotel but there is a lift if needed. Downstairs room to relax and toilet facilities which we were able to use pror to taxi pick up early evening, having checked out that morning. They took care of our luggage both on arrival day until check in and departure day. Our room was full of birthday balloons and complimentary bubbles for our ceebration trip.

Can't think of anything - we'd rebook if we return to Prague.

Everything was perfect! The location is just amazing. One minute walk to metro station and tram stops... You can walk easily to old town or to Mala strana, even to castle! We don't use our public transport card, because it's to easy to go anywhere by foot. Hotel is very clean, the area around it, is absolutely safe, and staff is extremely polite and kind. Breakfast is very good, with lots of chooses for everyone, and the little back yard, is tiny oasis for relaxation. And of course the VIEW from our room is simply, and absolutely breathtaking! It is sure, that because of this stunning view, and the location, Klarov hotel is our choice again when we are visiting Prague. We have a free room upgrade for our reservation and we feel very grateful to Daniel, to Darya and to all the management of Klarov hotel. Thank you, we hope to seeing you again next year.

Everything was perfect!

We loved everything. The rooms were very spacious, lovely high ceilings, secondary glazed windows, beautiful clean bathroom with toiletries. Bluetooth speaker and television. Adequate storage, coffee machine, mini bar/fridge. Lovely selection at breakfast time, juices, tea/coffee, warm/cold food, fresh bread.

Nothing we disliked, would just have liked a bar area to sit and maybe have a drink or coffee on our return at the end of the day. This isn't a complaint and it wouldn't stop us returning!

This was a wonderful stay in Prague, visiting the city for the first time. The hotel surprised us in all the good ways, since the moment we booked. Unfortunately, we had a late night flight, meaning that we wouldn't get to the hotel in time to find the reception still opened. However, the hotel left us clear instructions on how to get in late at night, how to get our key, and how to get to our room - all in a sealed envelope, just for our eyes. This process went as smoothly as possible. In terms of amenities and facilities, the hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean, huge, had a lovely view, and plenty of storage space, and so much room to move around! This was certainly one of the biggest rooms we stayed in. The bathroom was also huge, with a big, comfortable tub, perfect to take a hot bath after a long adventure in the city. We were able to control the heat in our room to our liking (separate too for bathroom + main room) which was amazing. Perhaps the one thing that surprised me the most. It might sound like something insignificant for others, but as a female traveler, I was so pleasantly surprised to find a makeup mirror, makeup wipes, cotton pads, tissues, q-tips and other such items I would normally have to pack. It was such a welcome surprise! The room had a well-stocked minibar, coffee and tea with a kettle, and even welcome snacks. The breakfast room was so lovely and cozy and we didn't find it at all dark or cramped, as others have noted in their reviews. The food choices were great for any tastes and I was again pleasantly surprised to find a really nice coffee machine which used freshly ground beans, as well as lactose-free options. The staff was incredibly lovely and helpful and on our last day, we had a very late evening flight, and they kept our luggage safe until it was time for us to leave for the airport. Overall, out stay was amazing!

This is an absolutely personal choice, but we found the large pillows the hotel provided us to be too hard, and we didn't sleep well on them on the first night. However, we requested different and additional pillows the next morning and the hotel was more than happy to oblige, as we found new pillows waiting for us in our room.

Beautiful property, incredible location, the staff was super helpful and truly make our experience in Prague even better. The hotel is very close to the Charles Bridge, yet not right in the middle of the tourist area, just a few minutes walk from the old town, there is a convenient bus stop right at the corner. The actual property and rooms are very comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was a big hit with our family.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about The Klarov.
