The room was comfortable and the localization perfect!

The mini refrigerator (frigobar) was not working. The receptionist (man) was not very kind. He needs to learn to treat people a little better. we arrived at 9, after a long night traveling. I requested check in a little earlier and he didn't even check if it was possible. And he only started receiving the documents and filling them out after 2:00 pm. I know it's not the hotel's obligation, but I think if the room was already clean, it wouldn't hurt to let us in and change our clothes an hour beforehand. We sat on the hotel stairs for hours.

Very nice old style hotel. Nice old furniture, comfortable and clean. It's not super modern, but it's certainly worth the money. Staff was very helpful. Not 24 hr service, but not needed. We arrived during the day and let ourselves in at night. Perfectly acceptable. Hot water was good. Bathroom was excellent.Tv good. Did not use internet. Had a look but did not have breakfast. Breakfast attendant was very nice and helpful. Location can't be beaten. Excellent view from back room onto gardens of what seems to be a government building.Room size excellent.Slept very well.No night or morning noises. No street noise. No air-conditioning or machine noise from outside. Did not need air-conditioning and did not notice if it was there.

Rusty heater in bathroom. Not sure if carpet might need a better clean. Nobody there to take key before 10, but we were told to leave it in room. Some renovation noise, but did not affect sleep. Pillows could have a bit more volume.

Very friendly staff, fantastic location to reach Prague castle and Old town by foot, very clean, room under the roof bigger than expected, parking space right in front of the hotel. This is the perfect charming place to stay if you want to visit Prague and I am sure I will come back!

Maybe a bit aged: here and there the wallpaper came apart / the water pipeline wasn’t the best on earth - but to be honest this made up the charme of this very special hotel! The mattress was on the harder side. Not a real disadvantage, my mom loved it. I myself prefer softer mattresses 😅

The location is fantastic with paid parking out front. Basically, you can walk anywhere in Prague but have a quiet spot to return to. The hotel is quirky and clean with friendly staff (Patrick and Mariana in the kitchen and other friendly reception lady whose name I didn't get). They were very helpful and fast when we needed a quick change to bed configuration. Beds were comfy, and the room was spacious.

I agree with an earlier poster who noted it's not a 4 star hotel - it is a delightful 3 star. The rooms are quirky and comfortable, but tired, and the shower was very cramped (but it's an old building where bathrooms were an afterthough). Wifi is very slow, and I would have liked to be able to control the heating in the room. We would stay again, though.

Check in was good, the receptionist was kind and completed the procedures quickly. You get a physical key, not a card, which is a bit charming. Like the key, if you don't expect the hotel to have the newest facilities, but what they do have is well-maintained and very clean. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. No shower, but it does have a large bathtub and a bidet. The doors are a bit thin, but there aren't many rooms on each floor, so it was quiet overall. The bed was comfortable for the price point, but not luxurious. The location is great - right outside a metro station and several tram lines - and it has a direct view of the castle and the river. Easy walk to downtown; about 10-12 minutes from the main square in the old town. (Full disclosure, I got a pretty good price traveling in the off-season, ~60€/night, but it was still right before Christmas.)

I tried to confirm the check-out procedure with one of the hotel staff while I was leaving, but his response was a curt "I'm not the receptionist." I mean, sure, but that doesn't mean you can't answer the question or at least use a nicer tone...

Best of all is the looks of the room, really stylish and nicely arranged. The position is also excellent, within very short walking distance of anything that matters in the city. The parking out front is very useful too. Although in a noisy area, the windows are good, so the amount of noise is small, although the street is still quite present. The 2 bedrooms are perfect for a family.

Breakfast was disappointing, to say the least. Poor range of options, undercooked eggs, spoiled milk and in general in an uninspiring place, in the basement. It would be better to not have it at all and get breakfast in one of the many other places nearby. The air-conditioning didn't help much with the summer heat outside, as the device seemed well under-sized and also didn't seem to work at full capacity.

The interior of the rooms is like in the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel. Some places could use some renovation. But then the price would be twice as high. The price and its location are now the main advantages for which it is worth choosing this hotel, despite the minor shortcomings.

Personally, we liked everything. But I can tell you who this hotel is not for. This hotel is not for you if you are looking for a hotel with a modern interior, you are picky about every little thing, have an unlimited budget and are not ready to compromise for the sake of price.

Excellent room, no further comments on that. Breakfast is good, but limited options, maybe it worths the price. The hotel has no other amenities but the room and the restaurant, as I could see. Anyway, I loved my stay and totally recommend it to everyone who's visiting Praga. Depending on the price, I may be back everytime I travel back to Prague.

Nothing to add here. It meets my expectations, it's a perfect location and very comfortable.

Very close to everything tgat was important to me. But again, I don’t mind walking few km this or thst way. It was very quiet though. And spacious enough. They did not charge extra 10€ for my late arrival, as I was late only number of minutes. But I spent that extra cash on taxi.

Its best days were decades ago. During my stay my bed was not made, means they didn’t even looked into tge room. That was unexpected and rather unusual. It is not 24x7 open. Plan your arrivals up-front.

The location was fantastic, the hotel staff were very helpful, on my arrival day they even let me check-in earlier with no extra fee. Very easy to find it I come from the airport in public transport .

I stayed at room 34 I believe is under or besides the laundry one night it was very noisy till 1 am , if you have any issues with stairs the lift is not on the same level as you stay so you always will need to use the stairs one level up or down (to me was not a problem) I mean if you have issues with stairs.
