Perfect location - super cosy little hotel in a great old building. Super friendly and supportive staff - lovely people and so attentive.

That's not a complaint!! Just a comment: I was attended by my 85years old mother. The bathroom did only have a bath tub with shower inside, however not a "standard shower" - so my Mom could not use it because she couldn't manage to get in there nor she had a chance to stand safe inside. The elevator is fantastic - just the selection of a room (if even available?) would have been better with a "standard shower".

The breakfast was included in the price however I don’t think I would have paid extra for it. There was a small selection of hot food over cooked bacon, and a bit of scrambled egg and frankfurters. The yogurts and pastries were nice, the coffee machine was ok a nicer tasting coffee would have been good. The restaurant is very small and gets full quickly best to go down before 9am to get a table. The staff on the reception were friendly and helpful . The beds were comfortable the rooms large. Excellent location right on the square.

The hotel was very hot which would have been great if it was freezing outside. Also the reception area smelt of food from the restaurant.

The location is fantastic - it is less than one block from the main Old Town Square and the hub of activity and yet itself is quiet. The rooms are dated (as appropriate for an older building) but clean and spacious - that is why you pick them instead of staying in a modern hotel. There is minimal if any street noise given how close you are to the major tourist thoroughfare. There are Czech, Mexican, Italian, Irish, and Indian restaurants all within 5 min walk and the streets are incredibly safe. The included breakfast is also very good with eggs, bacon, toast, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, cereal etc. We appreciate the elevator up to our floor and the staff is cheerful and accommodating.

Minor recommendation for US-based tourists - please put the milk for cereal on ice.

The people there were really lovely, from the housekeeping staff, to the restaurant manager, to the folks at the desk. The hotel is right near the church of Tyn and the square, so the location Is perfect. Hotel food was exceptionally well prepared.

The steep climb between floor 2 and floor 3 was challenging for my 83 year old mother. She dealt with it like a champ because she didn’t want to change rooms. The bathtub in our room was also very challenging for her to use as well. Lovely, but very high and tough for her get in and out of. These were things we probably could have changed by asking for a different room. We chose not to, after a lot of discussion about it. So that is on us. Ambient noise from the church bells and party goers echoed up the alley on weekend nights. Not the hotel’s fault, but side effects of the location.

Lovely, homely hotel in a very old building (apparently built in 1330). Large comfortable rooms. Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Great location just off the main square in the Old Town - about 30 seconds walk to the famous clock. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit, which was great. Small resturant and bar too which is handy if you don't feel like going too far for food.

None of this was in issue for us, but just a note for other travellers: No air conditioning in the room we were in. Proximity to the main square comes with the draw back that it is noisy as people are around all through the night. Lift only goes to second floor, so if you're in an upper floor room you will have to walk up the stairs from there.

June 2025, twin room: What an incredible location - we had the stained glass windows of the historic square's church outside our window, and it is tucked down the side street so you do not get the noise from that popular square. The hotel building itself is historic and I liked the feel of the place. The breakfast buffet was decent. All the staff were very nice and they were able to look after our bags for a few hours which we greatly appreciated. The bathroom has large bath tub, hair dryer and a helpful positional face mirror. The room includes a fridge, kettle, and some basic tea/coffee sachets. For added security the lift requires key-card activation. I would stay here again, recommended.

A minor thing but the window latches and stays could do with some attention. Creaking from movement can be heard from the room above but not a big issue. The in-room tea/coffee selection was poor and there was only one creamer. No air conditioning but fortunately the outside air alongside the large church was cool. The room would benefit from having a foldable suitcase stand available.

Amazing location right next to the Old Town Square. Comfortable enough beds in a spacious room with a desk, television, sofas and a chair. Clean bathroom and nice warm shower. The breakfast was pretty good and the lunch that the hotel restaurant offers is very nice, with generous portions. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the seating area next to the elevator. We enjoyed the complimentary tea and kettle in the room.

Since there is a 24-hour desk, it could benefit from offering a late-night snack menu to those arriving at unusual hours. Other than that, great stay.

The location couldn't be better. Right in the center of the Old Town and just a block away from the Old Town Square and the famous Clock Tower. The hotel is old as expected but very clean, good breakfast and excellent staff. Kudos to Lukas for always being there for us and treat us like family.

The only con I have to mention is the bathroom, I feel neither the sink nor the tub have been well designed and the whole floor gets wet when you take a shower.

The hotel was excellent absolutely nothing to complain about. The concierge was so very helpful and recommended some excellent pubs and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfy bed. There was a big selection on offer at breakfast from cheese, cold meats, cereals, cooked (scrambled eggs which I am sure were made with fresh eggs - they tasted amazing), bacon and sausage, and lovely bread and pastries. The location was superb and despite the proximity to the town square it was very quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a 700 year old building in the heart of old town Prague. For visiting this part of Prague, you could not ask for a more fun location. Obviously this is historic and well worn but it's well maintained, and we loved everything about staying here. The staff were so helpful and took clear joy in wanting visitors to love Prague (and this hotel.)

I loved this place, but what others might not like: there's no parking. It's hard to get to by car/taxi. There are exposed 700 year old beams which are easy to walk into if you don't pay attention. It's in the heart of old town so it can get noisy from all the tourists, even into the night. The elevator only goes up 2 floors, and we were on the third floor (we were so charmed we didn't care, but if you're physically challenged, this could be an issue.)
