We booked two rooms for me and my sister's family. It's a gorgeous little hotel in the middle of the old town with everything in central Prague within walking distance. Other cool neighborhoods like Karlin and Holesovice are easily reachable by tram. What I appreciated most was the outstanding hospitality and kindness of the staff. Everyone got a bottle of welcome wine! The staff, especially Daria, went above and beyond to accommodate our every request, including a late check out at 4 PM, and a quick room change (I requested a room with less outdoor noise). They ensured we were welcome and comfortable and quickly worked on our requests. The views outside the rooms were truly spectacular. The breakfast was lovely. Thanks again for your outstanding service.

If you like me prefer to keep your windows open at night, you could ask for a room facing the square and not the road. It's less noisy. But all the rooms are very well equipped with noise-canceling windows so that's not a problem for most people.

We visited four popular European cities on our trip but the stay at the Josephine was the absolute highlight! First, you cannot beat the location. The best of Prague is right outside your door! The room was massive, decorated in keeping with the age of the hotel with fine antiques, and the beds the most comfortable I have ever slept in! If it weren't for the breakfast buffet calling to me ( a delight for even the most discerning pallets) I could have easily stayed in our room the whole time without regret. Above all, the young, polished, polite and eager to please staff was the crowing glory. I cannot write enough good things about our stay at the Florence Hotel. Simply the finest.

Excellent combination of location + authenticity + comfort + price. The hotel is located 2 minutes walking from the main (and beautiful) square in Prague, yet within a secluded and quaint square, away from the crowds. The building itself and rooms are very 'Pragu-esque' and become part of the visiting experience. This is an important point to consider for those who might expect a 'flashier' or more 'corporate' hotel. I, personally, thought it was a plus. The rooms were large, overlooking the beautiful square, and with distinctively comfortable beds. We did not opt for the breakfast (but saw the room, and it looked very nice). The staff was very nice. The hotel arranged for the airport transfers (10 euro per person, quite reasonable). The price we paid was very reasonable, considering all these aspects. I would definetly stay here again!

The only thing I would have wished different was the temperature in the room: it was a bit chilly, and there was no way to turn on the heat (late April stay).

The location is outstanding - in a small cosy courtyard with a Czech restaurant and ice cream parlour, just a few minutes walk from the historic Old Town square. The hotel room was enormous, and the staff were incredible - helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel took care of all our needs, providing us with a map, booking us airport transfers and giving us a free Prague pass with a variety of discounts around the city. Breakfast was calm and relaxed, and the food was excellent. I would definitely come back again.

A wonderful hotel! Very close to all the sites but tucked away in a quiet cobblestone square. So while most of the Old town stays lively into the early hours, at this hotel yiu can sleep through the night! Our room was enormous and felt very fancy. Very clean and comfortable. We had an incredibly charming view from our window - like a fairly tale. The complementary bottle of whine was a special touch! And the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again and will recommend to all friends.

We had a fantastic experience at Josephine Hotel. The reception was warm and welcoming, and the staff were always polite and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious, full of character, and even included a dressing area. Although it had four beds, it was just the two of us, which made it feel extra comfortable and luxurious. Everything was kept spotless — the room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options to start the day. On top of that, the hotel surprised us with thoughtful gifts including a Prague Pass, vouchers for Café Louvre, a magnet, and cosmetics — such a generous and memorable touch! Overall, this hotel combines comfort, charm, and exceptional service right in the heart of Prague. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.

This was the most wonderful find in all of prague. From the moment I walked through the door Elizabeth at the front greeted me.She was extremely helpful as was diana in making sure my stay was perfect. They were there with suggestions and ideas for what to do.They helped me find restaurants and concerts. The staff is instantly friendly.And you feel like you're part of a family.This is the place to stay in prague. The breakfast is marvelous.Let me serve it till 11 and if you're anything like me.I like to get up a little later , ha ha. The array of cookies and cakes and jellies , and all of the breakfast items , along with coffee and even percco! Totally worth starting your day off with their breakfast and then going on your outing. I will be back and I will stay here. They are welcoming to everyone from every walk.Will feel comfortable and come out of there with new friand wonderful memories. Bravo also to the wonderful Maid's and kitchen staff. I miss everyone already And this beautiful old world property with its charm I'm character from another time.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotelorange staff.Everyone was gracious.Unkind, and it was perfectly located to everything.You're five minutes from everywhere. You can. Walk all over the old town from here. Forego, spending a fortune.Stay here this way you'll be able to really see the city and meet the people. Much of the staff that works there is from there , which is a testament to prague and also to the beautiful josephine hotel.

1. The location!!! It's a little historic square in the heart of old Prague,1 minute's walk from the astronomical clock. 2. The room is huuuuge!!! With a lot of furniture, a coffee corner with machine (capsules are "on the house"!). 3. Perfect and reach breakfast served like in moves! 4. Very friendly staff.

1. The elevator is microscopic, for 1 average person and 1 suitcase. Or for one above the average person. A bit problematic. 2. Our room was between floors and there was a stair with several steps without an elevator. But the hotel staff helped us with the suitcases.

Everything was amazing with this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, but not with the noise of the crowds (for example the hotel was right in the middle of everything so we didn't use public bathrooms much, we could just easily go back to our hotel room.) The room was unlike anything we have experienced - fabulous! Clean, large, air conditioned, everything we needed, plus extras were provided. The breakfast was exceptional. It was a buffet that had everything you could image, freshly made, fresh baked goods, coffees, teas, juices, sweets, savory and even gluten free options. The staff I cannot say enough, everyone was extremely helpful, wonderful. We will be back and we are recommending this hotel to all our family and friends.

For example, I requested extra pillows, and they were already on the bed when we checked in—a testament to the attentive service we received throughout our stay. The housekeepers were particularly observant, paying attention to small details that made a big difference. When I purchased still mineral water, they replenished the complimentary water bottles with still water, and when I bought sparkling, they switched to sparkling. This thoughtful consideration was a delightful surprise that made us feel truly cared for. The location of the hotel couldn’t be more perfect. It’s in the heart of everything, making it incredibly convenient to explore Prague. The added bonus of discount vouchers for various tourist attractions was a great touch. The hotel itself was comfortable, well-equipped with all the basic amenities, and surprisingly spacious, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. However, there are a few areas where the hotel management could improve. Firstly, blackout curtains would be a valuable addition, as the room gets very bright as soon as the sun rises.
