The location was amazing for us to enjoy the New Year celebratins in the old square and the markets. The hotel provided complimentary drinks and snacks for the duration of our stay to celebrate NYE which was unexpected and fabulous. The room was lovely, large, comfy with all you should expect. We had a street view but it was very quiet due to the good glazing. The staff were exceptionally polite and professional and helpful too. We used the hotel airport transfer service to go back to the airport which gave us peace of mind as we were leaving very early.

The hotel is very conveniently located right in the center of Prague's Old Town. We enjoyed the wonderful location and the ability to step out of the hotel right onto the central square. It wasn't, however, noisy, and we had a good sleep throughout. We appreciate that despite our early arrival, the room was ready for us as we arrived. The deluxe room was spacious and lovely, with classic furniture and a high ceiling. It seems that the hotel is well-kept and all the amenities in the room were very-well maintained throughout our stay. The air conditioning was spot-on in the hot days we encountered. In addition, although it seems like an old building, there's a nice elevator inside, and that's also a plus compared to many other small hotels. The breakfast was good and everyone could find something to eat. The hotel is a boutique hotel and it feels quiet and calm despite being in the city center. We appreciated the classic decor, big rooms and high ceilings.

The location of the hotel is ideal, very close to everything, overlooking the square and the Christmas market, in a particularly beautiful building. Metro and tram cca 250 metres. Comfortable, large and clean, well cleaned, very nice room and bathroom, impeccable insulation, very comfortable beds. Good breakfast, including cappuccino on request, with a satisfactory choice. Next to the reception - hall, self service pastries and coffee all day... The hotel communication is impeccable - special thanks to Vojta at reception.

Parking is difficult to find, it is complicated to stop in front of the hotel even when checking in and out, but this is no surprise in the centre of Prague. /To the elderly gentleman in the breakfast room: once or twice a day you are allowed to say hello and smile.../

The. hotel was located next to the Tyn church and there were great concerts in the Tyn. Everything in the old town was in a walking distance. The hotel was so clean. We stayed in a suit room, it was so spacious. Breakfast was enough. Champagne at the breakfast was a great start for the day. Coffee at the reception area was also good thing to have.

We drank tea at the breakfast and wanted to drink a cup of coffee afterwards. I don't know if they want us to choose between drinks or not but the response of the waitress was not pleasant. She gave coffee either way. Other than that we experienced nothing bad.

Location was perfect right on the square and stunning views. Old style elaborate architecture combined with the modern clean fresh style of the bedroom and bathroom was beautiful. Friendly helpful staff, extra touches like the wide ranging breakfast options including champagne or mimosa if you fancied it.

Nothing not to like. Reception and restaurant areas could benefit from some refresh in the decor.

After a long overnight flight from the USA we arrived at the hotel with a very warm welcome by the front desk staff. We were told they changed our room and we would like the new selection. They were oh so right, our room (#25) was a corner room, spacious, with views overlooking the Old Town Square Clock Tower and the spires of nearby Church of Our Lady before Týn. The included breakfast was very well done with plenty of selections and a cozy dining room. We were there for the Christmas Markets and the streets surrounding the hotel was crowded with market visitors and plenty of excitement, from inside our room, we heard no street noises, very quiet! This hotel is a gem, we totally enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful central location in the Old Town in very friendly hotel with excellent facilities, good breakfast in lovely room looking out to Tyn Church. We arrived very late and they were helpful about finding somewhere to eat at 11pm!

Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view, but that meant we could hear late night noise from the street, in spite of double glazing.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful concierge staff. Good breakfast, and a packed breakfast provided for us when we left early on our last day. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with some complementary pastries provided in the lobby.

The bedroom walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbours. Lighting controls were a little eccentric!

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful room/loft suite. Large, warm with a very comfortable four poster bed with linen drapes. All spotlessly clean. Kitchen area and wardrobe space a nice luxurious feature of the room. Bathroom had under floor heating. Nice rooftop views from the window. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Perfect location in the old town.

The location puts you right in the heart of Prague -- wonderful for exploring Prague on foot, strolling around. The breakfast at Hotel Ventana far exceeded expectations. Hotel Ventana offers a full complement of hot and cold breakfast items (including scrambled eggs, breakfast meat such as sausage or bacon, and a warm breakfast side such as potatoes as well as cereals, fruits, yogurt, pastries, meats, cheeses, variety of juices, etc.). The staff in every area of the hotel were lovely -- warm, hospitable, and helpful. They arranged for a car to get us to the airport and were helpful answering questions about getting around.

This isn't a reflection on the entire property, but do want to note that our room had a tub that is raised significantly off the floor -- getting in and out was a bit of a gymnastics feat for a shorter person! :) The room description for the room we had says "bathtub designed by Philippe Starck" in the description in case you want to avoid this. Also, while the room was lovely and spacious (huge!), the carpet, bedding coverlet and decorative pillows were a bit dingy and could perhaps use a cleaning to freshen things up.
