The location was very good,a short walk from all amenities. The reception staff were good. Especially Nadya, she was was extremely helpful. Nadya was very friendly warm and very attentive whilst maintaining a professional approach. Nadya is one of the best reception staff I have ever come across. I have stayed at many hotels. In addition Violeta and Anna were very helpful and attentive too.

The bedroom was small, the wardrobe was very small, there wasn’t any chairs. In addition the breakfast staff very not very friendly if you asked for anything they made you feel bad for asking. The cold milk wasn’t cold it was room temperature it as if it hadnt been in the fridge this spoilt the choice of cereal for breakfast. Although plates, dishes and glasses were replenished frequently they were very hot after being in the dishwasher I assume. Not very good if you want cold fruit, or anything from the cold platter.

I love the Gold Bank Hotel!!! I stayed here because I saw the pictures and just wanted to stay in a place so different. Everything from the reception staff to the candies at the reception desk was great. The room was big, lots of storage, safe, coffee, hairdryer, and toiletries were provided. My room had a window facing the back of the building and a part of the street so there was not much of a view but I was able to get some fresh air. The hotel decor is very classy, I loved the white walls with the gold accents. You can also have some fun looking for little gold monkeys around the hotel! They store my luggage after check-out and I came back in the afternoon to pick it up. It was a really pleasant stay.

Nice and comfortable hotel for a good price, 5 min walk from the train station and close to the Old Town. We liked the idea of bank-like design. Very nice reception desk staff! Reception desk works 24/7. The room was clean, shampoo and shower gel provided. There is a small fridge and a kettle, AC is an advantage as well. Reviews said that there was only one huge pillow in the rooms, but we had 2 pillows each: big and small.

Although building is new, the furniture and the design in general sometimes look a bit "tired" - you can notice a lot of small damage. The room is rather small, space is very limited. Slippers would be highly appreciated in a 4-star hotel.

Thé location was great - easy to get to the AirPort Express and 10 min walk to the Old Town. Breakfast was good, lots of choice of food, changing every day, great choice of juices. We love the Ukrainian cake Napoleon. Reception staff was helpful, not straight away, after a while. We arrived around 11:00 am and we met Violeta at the reception - first she was not very approchable, said she doesn’t have rooms ready and check in is after 3 pm, not earlier. I mentioned to her that I’ve chosen the hotel to celebrate my birthday. But after 10 minutes she came to us and said that as it is my birthday they managed to find a room ready for us and she upgraded us and we can have a room with bath tub and a table. The room was ready and we checked in straight away. That was very nice touch from Violeta. The best girl who worked at the reception was Anna, she was kind to us every time and helped a lot my boyfriend with preparation and organization of my birthday. Anna provided a really great customer service.

Cleaning the room. We stayed 5 nights and no one changed the linen, usually it supposed to be after 3 nights. First night we put DND sign, as we didn’t want our room to be cleaned, the next day we removed the sign and ask at the reception to clean the room- the housekeeping just changed the towels and took the garbage away, but did not vacuum the carpet. Third day was the same, on the forth and fifth day our room was not served at all. For the breakfast - too many salades with mayonnaise, no fried eggs and omelettes at all. The last day - the coffee machine was broken , no one can fix it unfortunately, we ended up buying coffee outside.

The bathroom lacks any shelf for cosmetics, unfortunately it was very unpleasant that the air conditioning could not be turned off/controlled, so the room was extremely cold, the staff had to turn off all the electricity in the room for the night (the lights and sockets did not work)

Excellent location, a few minutes walking from the heart of the historical city, yet very quiet, not in a particularly touristy location. The rooms are nicely finished, look modern and have all the amenities you need. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable; the double bed was two singles joined by the bed clothing. The shower cubicle leaked, so if you stayed a bit too long the whole bathroom got wet. Some additional sealing would be required.

Management excellent, as was the breakfast, scrambled egg on toast. Museli local deli, fruits and melt in the mouth pastries. Comfy bed. T V extremely clear HD. Great Wi-Fi. The breakfast room is in the old bank vault, basement level -2, and has been tastefully renovated and is extremely quirky. Local tram stop just around the corner, and a Lidl supermarket is a 500m.

Unfortunately no USB points in our room. Czech Republic sockets have an offset earth pin so most adaptors won't fit. Managed to borrow a USB adaptor from reception, but no power. adaptors. Had to buy from local Mini market with a Chinese owner, who 'ripped me off' charging 150kr, for a cheap imported product. Then checked another similar shop with Indian proprietor who would've charged 65kr. Very powerful bedroom central light. Room could've had a picture or art piece on the wall.

The area is very convenient, you have the central train station and the Airport Express bus less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. You have all kinds of cafés, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, as well as tram. The room had great lighting, tall ceilings and carpets, a kettle with cups and some tea/coffee, a mini fridge, a pretty big TV (couldn’t get to log in into Netflix though, YT runs fine) and a very spacious wardrobe. You are given the option to choose cleaning days upon check-in on reception. The receptionists are all very kind.

Everything was fine, except for the cleaning service the first cleaning day as the bag with trash wasn’t taken out and was left for an extra day.

Its clean and nice location is amazing parking is available

For couples is ok but a but small preferred for single person

The hotel room was beautiful and very clean. Location was excellent - walking distance to everything we wanted to see and including the train station. We quite enjoyed breakfast which had a wide variety of food to choose from, and the coffee machine made very nice hot chocolates.

We were only provided one toilet roll, and when we requested another we were told it would be sent up to our room. After waiting over an hour we asked the cleaning staff who were outside our room, expecting to be given one straight away. After agreeing, they then walked away from our room. We were never given the second roll. Seems a bit of a trivial complaint but for what was a simple request it was disappointing how it was handled.
