Really well located, close to metro, bus stops and trams. Good restaurant and cafes nearby. Bar in the hotel was also an advantage as they serve good beer and wine. Our room was quite big, with a private bathroom (which was really clean). Sheets were clean as well, no dust on the floors (important for us because of alergies).

Lack of AC/ option to open the window more. In June it gets pretty warm and lack of fresh air can be a bit annoying, we had to go downstairs a couple of times just to breath fresh air.

This hostel is pretty big, with own program downstairs..in lobby is huge TV screen, bar, u can order food also in the evening. Many games, billiard, table football... Automatic check in with machine in 5 languages (but there was noted "your room wasn't ready" my room was book manually in reception staff) Reception staff is friendly and nice, they just want fill one short document before classic check-in. Room was pretty big, big bathroom has two parts...one with shower, and second toilet ...it was smart independent solution. Everything clean and good prepare, light design should be better, looks like factory lights, uncomfy for eyes In hostel is security, alarms, many corridors... security stopped alarm, cause somebody open door to emergency stairs on facade. Hostel look safe if there should be cause fair etc. We remember 12 death in Prague hostel during 🔥🚒 fire. Carpets are clean, looks good, give classic hotel vibes. Location close the Central Railway station..Hauptbahnhof...subway, trams, fir day 9 euros ticket, close Zoo and others In hostel are family friendly rooms, kids, and a little settled looking middle age guests... but also jongens...

Their environmental cleaning policy is not working: one can request room cleaning online before 23.00 for the following day For a two night stay I did without, but I dropped one of pills. It landed on the floor just under the headboard of the bed. The buildup of dust along that skirting board was thick. Almost like fleece! I don’t go looking for faults but it was obvious that the grouting around the shower basin was not clean: black and probably mouldy, and my dropped pill alerted me to how much dust was beneath the bed The windowless breakfast room and the food on offer did not appeal to me I don’t cope well sleeping with a square pillow: a technique I must acquire!

Poor sound insulation between rooms. We heard the sounds of sex, doors closing, feet shuffling, suitcases moving, etc.

Despite reviews regarding poor cleanliness, noise and heat in the rooms, I found none of these to be a problem. Yes, the room was hot as it’s summer in a city but I asked reception staff to unlock the window (allowing it to fully open) and after signing a disclaimer if I fell out, it was unlocked and the room was wonderfully cool. My 10 year old son loved the facilities, staff were friendly, the room and bedding was clean and lovely and the other guests (mostly teenagers/students) were incredibly respectful and quiet during the night hours. This was far better than any budget hotel (Premier Inn)!

I loved everything!

Exceeded my expectations! The location is good, about a 5 minute walk to the main train station. The room (we booked a private/twin room) was clean and looked just like the pictures. Also, they left us 2 chocolate bunnies as a gift because it was Easter weekend which was really nice and encapsulated the overall positive vibe the entire place has! There were always people in the lobby/main area playing games, watching something or just hanging out which was nice to see as well. Definitely recommend this place!

As far as I understood, only self check in is available, which is fine but might be a little confusing for somebody who wasn't familiar with it before. We arrived a little later in the evening and there wasn't anybody at the desk to help us so it was a bit of a hassle, but nothing too complicated

This is a big hostel with spacious dorms and common areas. Our dorm was new and clean with separate toilet and bathroom inside the room. The hostel is located in a quiet area near Hbf, which makes it easy to get around. While there aren't many cafes or grocery stores right next to the hostel, you can easily find everything you need near the Hbf.

The lack of AC made it quite hot inside the dorm. Also, there were no individual lights for the beds, even though there were cables installed for them. It wasn’t very convenient when the main light was turned off.

Very good location and quiet neighborhood but still close to the Central Main Station, 24/7 bar and reception, easy check in.

Maybe because of the thin doors or windows, it can be very loud in the night sometimes, especially when other guests running around or talking even shouting to each other in the hallway or in front of your room. Some guests just don't have any respect. They run around or even just for fun knock on your door in the middle of the night. I think A&O needs to be strickter about these things. We stayed there for 4 nights and the room service only gave us 2 new towels on the second day and on the third day, they forgot to take out the rubbish that they had collected. They just left the closed plastic bag full with our rubbish on the carpet.

I'll give 10/10 for the location only , my rate will be 7 for all the stay . I came early to this hotel and I know the check-in time is 3pm . I book my flight to reach berlin early as I'll stay only 1 night. reception staff are professional and helpful 👏 hotel was full of guests from over the world , i left my bags and went to enjoy berlin and when I came I did self check-in and got my key 🔑 and went to my room it was clean and ready , I was there around 4.30pm room not spacious but good enough for 1 night . Just for the staff they can try to give the guests their room as early as possible because sometimes guests leave the hotel early even before 10am so they have enough time to clean and give the room before 3pm especially for the guests with young children or for those who came for 1 day in berlin.

I loved the hostel, everything was spot on. The rooms were always clean and super comfy, never had any issues. Daily cleaning and there was always someone around if you needed anything. The location is also a win—really close to the central station, so getting around is super easy. Plus, the area felt really safe; in the month and three weeks I stayed, everything was always chill. But the best part? The awesome team at reception and the bar. Big shoutout to Lama, Hassan, Justin, Christian (reception), and Giulia, Edipo, and Yamila (bar)!
