Great location right by the Hauptbanhof, the main train station in Berlin, so you have access to all forms of transport and can get about the city and to/from the airport easily. The hotel was bright and modern, with more room in the bathroom/shower than some other Ibis hotels I have stayed in. Shower was good pressure & temperature with plenty of towels provided. Bed was comfortable - medium firmness. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road and the river but I found the room quiet once the window was closed, and was able to switch the air con to maximum to reach a comfortable room temperature. The buffet breakfast was included in our room price and had plenty of variety to offer, including roasted vegetables, vegan & plant based options, hot items, and freshly squeezed juice. Every team member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay here.

A few minor niggles - the shower head holder didn't work very well, and the room could be warm if you didn't know to switch the air con on, but nothing that impacted our stay in a negative way.

When I checked in, I was greeted by an excellent agent and wish I could remember his name as he was the best out of the three male agents I spoke with. I was greeted with much care and it was very fluid and he was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was small but everything worked. The wifi was surprisingly good.

I really, really wish there had been a coffee maker or at least a kettle instead of having to go out to get coffee. The doors to the rooms did slam shut with a thud so if you had your head near the headboard and another guest used their door, it would reverberate even if far between rooms. The breakfast was quite pricey considering there are so many breakfast options in the area.

Very well positioned for an arrival by train (next to Hauptbahnhof) with excellent connections to the city, and in a longish-walking distance from the Brandenburger Tor and Unter den Linden. Breakfast was rich and variated. Staff at the reception desk were generally kind and helpful.

Didn't understand the breakfast payment policy: first, pay, then, have breakfast. They refused to charge our breakfast on the room bill, asking for anticipated payment. The breakfast manager didn't speak any English. The price of the room was pretty high for the comfort and facilities offered. Perhaps, the weekend plaid a certain role in that.

All staff were exceedingly helpful, efficient and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and housekeeping staff looked after our needs well. Breakfast was excellent and very well organised. We were very impressed with internal security regarding entry to the hotel and lift.

This was my husband and my 8th trip to Berlin and previously we have stayed in the East part of the city, so staying in the West for the first time took some getting used to. We can't fault the hotel - it was excellent and suited our needs perfectly.

The hotel is very accessible, the area is pleasant and well served by places where you can eat (cheaper or more expensive) Center area was accessible on foot, the train allowed us access to neighborhoods and other areas that we wanted to visit and easy acces to the airport at 4 am Varied breakfast, with waffle maker and good coffee In the evening you can stay in the reception area to heat up some food from their offer or eat what you took with you, you could stay for a cards game or a glass of wine The staff is friendly (especially the guy at breakfast, i'm sorry I didn't catch his name) and always ready to serve you (even at 3 am when I went down for coffee because there is no machine in the room) and you can find various options at the reception. nest time in Berlin will be back for sure PS - acces to the new year party at Brandenburg Gate was easy on foot + at 2 am we found mc donald's open

Room was lovely and big for myself and my friend who required an accessible room. View wasn't the best but we are not there for the view from the room window.

The heat in the room was ridiculous, that bad we didn't get much sleep the first night as we were so uncomfortable. Although you can turn the heating down to cold it made no difference in the heat even with the window open. The fan would only come on if the heating was turned up! We slept the second night due to having none the first night. Although accessible there was no rail next to the bed to help getting up but we managed. As we were only there a very short time due to this my friend didn't require the use of the accessible shower, which is just as well as there was no seat or rails for her to get from her wheelchair on to. This really needs to be correct for other accessbile users.

The Ibis Hotel is centrally located, just a short walk from the Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. There are plenty of restaurants and bistros nearby, perfect for dining. The baggage storage service is fantastic, allowing you to explore the city while waiting for check-in. A great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay!

The only downside of my stay was that some of the staff were not very friendly, as they didn’t smile, which gave off a rude impression. This made the overall experience less welcoming, though the rest of the stay was enjoyable.

The receptionist, Iris, provided good customer service since I asked to be in the lower floor and to have an early check in. My dog pooped accidentally as well without me seeing it and while they charged me for cleaning, they did so in a nice way and provided me photos of my dog poop as the manager thought it was blood. They gave me a towel to bring with me to the train in case my dog pooped again. Very satisfied!

The AC could be colder. I brought a fan with me so it was ok

Location of Hotel directly across the road from the train station. Room was a little small for twin beds, but very clean. Bed made every morning as well as fresh towels. Breakfast was "continental" which was more than sufficient. Our flight was delayed by 7hrs and we were therefore able to check in. The girl on reception was extremely friendly and helpful (unlike the man - see below). Even though we were on the 2nd floor overlooking the main road, we didn't hear a single bit of noise from the traffic.

The man who was on reception late afternoon was extremely rude and impatient....unlike his female counterpart who was excellent.

Close to the central station and nearby restaurants. Close to public transport with tram stop, Hauptbahnhof, outside the hotel. Attractions for Berlin Wall memorial and Brandenburg Gate a pleasurable walk from hotel.

Air conditioning did not cool down to selected temperature. European doonas to hot for summer and only single bed size for two single beds pushed together, the usual European option. Would stay again due to location to transport.
