location to food was a few streets away

parking was always full, i chose this hotel coz it had parking. one part can be used by non-hotel ppl. i parked somewhere else. if i knew this sooner i would take other hotel. i had to find a parking across the city

Really good location which was right beside a christmas market and walkable to the other bigger ones. The staff were friendly and room was perfect. We had a nice view of the river and big wheel at the market. We didnt have any meal's in the hotel but the bar had a good range of drinks.

The hotel has a policy where you can take 4 free drinks if you do not have your room cleaned while staying 2 or more nights. I wasn't aware of this until we saw a sign in the lift. After asking about it at reception the next day I was told we couldn't avail of it because we didnt inform them at check it....but I was never told and still had two nights to stay so it made no sense that we couldn't. The receptionist kindly agreed to allow us to take the bottles of water in the end. The hotel should be clear about this at check in.

Great and spacious rooms! Parking on site who Chu allowed us to store our bicycles safely. Lovely riverside location so very easy to navigate around. Had aircon, kettle and tv which all worked well as well as thick blackout curtains for a great sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful - extra amenities a BA liable from reception and in the lobby/lounge area. Also great fuel/convenience store directly across the road which was very handy.

The colourful glass wall seperator for the bathroom was still a little sheer in my opinion, as you can still see quite well if someone is in the shower.

Perfect location, right beside one of the Christmas markets and a lovely 15 min walk to the cathedral and other markets. rooms cleaned every day we were there. Tea and coffee in the rooms with a complimentary bottle of water and chocolates. Loved the room decor and the sink in the bedroom is definitely different but I liked it. Fresh clean towels and lovely toiletries provided. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and constantly being replenished. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Only one lift was working during our 3 night stay, the hotel was very busy which meant a long wait, no sign of anyone fixing this problem until our last day on checking out. Needs an additional softer light in the bathroom as the dividing wall is like coloured glass, very pretty but shines out very brightly during the night if you needed to use it which would wake another person in the room. Our room wasn't as sound proof as we thought it would be so slightly broken sleep at times, if your a light sleeper then I'd book a room on the Rhine side.

Best view as the hotel is in front of the river The only disappointment was that my view was city view which was not that good.

The city view from my room was disappointing: but the location and the staffs were amazing. My last 2 days in the hotel was not that good experience : because the road in front of the hotel was closed for some celebrations which is affected my enjoyment. There was no car can pass in front of that hotel. So, the only risky thing is that they can close the road which is in front of the hotel in anytime for several celebrations which can cause a very deduction of tourists around there and feeling the place empty.

We finally got a nice room in 5th floor where you actually have a Rhine view. The hotel is nice and clean,. The location is on the Rhine and close to the center.

The hotel parking is small and we couldn't find a place in it. We also couldn't book a place in advance. We had to wait there and go to the hotel to ask for direction for other parking.. The other option is still close and packed but we found a spot there. The check-in line was long and we got a room with lock that didn't work and it took us 3 walks to the check-in counter and taking the tech guy with us to finally convince them that the lock was not working and get a new and upgraded room. Once this was sorted out all was great.

Having stayed here 6 years ago we were really impressed that the quality of the hotel and helpful staff had stayed the same. The hotel is a little way out of the main centre of the town, but in a really nice location on the edge of the river. The rooms are really comfortable, and even have a UK socket, which is a great addition. The communal areas are really nicely done, always a space to sit and play a game or have a drink as you look out. The roof terrace is also a bonus to have when the weather is right, or to visit in the evening to look out across the river. The staff are really friendly and happy to recommend places to go that are a little off the beaten track too. The petrol station over the road is also perfect for picking up supplies.

Not very much to complain about really, having USB charging in the rooms would be a good addition. Very happy with this hotel.

Everything but the cleaning staff. One of the male cleaning staff entered my room at 0830 without knocking any warning and walked inside the room stood in front of me and my wife and said something in German language. He then proceeded to walk out of the room without even apologizing. This is a safety issue as my wife could have been alone in the room and something bad could have had happened to her. Please brief your cleaning staff to not storm through room doors without knocking first and hearing the room clients response.

Corner room was lovely. Sofabed fine for an adult and child to share. Description on the room said 3 adults or 2 adults and a child but it was fine for our family of 4. Interesting glass wall between bedroom and bathroom. It was painted but you could make out the person in the shower.

The bar area was soleless. More a walkway to the breakfast room. No option for dinner in the hotel but lovely restaurants on the riverbank heading north. Roof terrace was a nice find on day 2 with rather horrid wine from the petrol station. Good views though. €23 was expensive for breakfast. I’d find a bakery next time.

The hotel is very well located, the staff is extremely attentive, and it offers a very good and varied breakfast. A big plus is that both breakfast and checkout are available until 12 PM! The rooms are also great. I highly recommend it!

The one thing I didn’t really like was that you have to confirm every day if you want your room to be cleaned. I believe that should be the default, and if someone doesn’t want it, they should request not to have it cleaned.
