the locations perfect with a lidl right around one corner and a tram stop that takes you to the city in a few stops around the next corner! i also liked how cosy the whole place was.

when we got there our room still had not had any room service since the person before us stayed. the dirty towels and bedding were still in our room on the 3rd day before we finally asked for some room service. and also as a brit i love my coffee in the morning, they dont restock the coffee area at all you have to ask for more manually.

A reasonably priced, comfortable, and modern hotel in a pleasant residential area, a short tram ride from Cologne city centre. Our bedroom was small but very clean and well-equipped. The bed was really comfortable with good quality bedding. Sahra, on reception, was so friendly, cheerful, and helpful - she is a credit to the hotel. Although the hotel is reasonably priced, we paid a hefty £18 a night to park. It is a quiet neighbourhood, and on street parking is possible, but it still seemed sensible to park off the road. There are very few restaurants and shops in the vicinity of the hotel. The breakfast was adequate, although free fruit was available in the reception area throughout the day, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is lovated in a very quiet residential area near a tram station to the center of the city. The staff is very friendly, they helped us with everything and gave us a lot of useful information for locations. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is wonderful. We arrived quite late for the check-in, but they welcomed us and prepared dinner for us in the restaurant. Thank you, we will visit you again!

Our rooms were absolutely immaculate and well stocked with all of the essentials. It looks like it's been recently renovated, so everything was lovely and modern. They also had a little sweets station in the lobby, so it was nice to grab some free gummy bears after a long day of travel. We didn't have a meal at the hotel, although what we saw looked nice!

We didn't realize ahead of time that the hotel wasn't outside of the ULEZ zone, so we unfortunately had to park a fair disstance away and taxi in -- but that's our fault for not doing our due diligence.

- staff was exceptionally helpful from giving directions of which trams to take, to helping me register to become a Marriot hotel member in order to do early checkin. - Room was neat and smelled still new since hotel is recently renovated - Meraki products in the bathroom to use (also sold at a very reasonable price at reception which we bought as last minute Christmas gifts) - Safe parking on site for €12 - Delicious breakfast! We were only a few guests hence they did not make a buffet but we could choose from a menu so no good wastage and breakfast was sufficient and tasteful. - Good connection with public transport: 5 minute walk to the tram that takes you directly to inner city where we attended the Christmas markets

- Blocked an extra amount of €25 upfront on credit card upon check in for incase you use the minibar, but did not tell upfront only when I disputed the price they explained it is just reserved and will be released if nothing from minibar is used. - Not a super vibey area, the hotel is located in a residential area with many flats so not a stay with scenic views but area is still safe and has the benefit of leaving car and traveling with the tram to inner city.

The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was also good but a bit expensive

The beds weren't super comfortable and the room wasn't very quiet, especially on a Monday morning. Also there was a bible and a book of Mormon in the room which I find a bit inappropriate for a hotel that might host people from very different backgrounds.

Excellent staff, our room was nice and comfortable. It was awesome that we were near public transportation, and therefore no car was needed to get into the city. Everything was fine, breakfast was enjoyable and the bar personnel were super friendly. We will be back! Thank you very much....

I thought personnaly that 18 euro for parking was a bit exessive. But all good.

The staff is awesome and the rooms are very cool designed. Good breakfast, althought there can be a waiting line at the coffee machine. Usually there are paid parking spots available, including 2 with EV chargers (EUR card required, my non-EUR card is not accepted). There is an ATM and a kiosk next door and a supermarket 5 minutes away. Same for public transport. Wish I could stay longer.

This was our second stay at the Deutz and definitely won’t be the last. We love the location, the staff is super friendly and the beds are amazing.

When we went for dinner at the restaurant there was only one option: pizza. We hoped for pasta.. but there wasn’t a menu to choose from. But the pizza’s were super delicious!! So we we’re happy in the end.

Lovely hotel! Stayed in the building separate from the main building, perfect for me, as I don't like walking in and out of hotel lobbies, to get to my room. Jellies and water in reception sold it for me :-) Perfect stay, thank you.
