The breakfast was great. Had a lot of things to choose from, everything was fresh and kids friendly. The location was great if you don't mind being a little far from the city center. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, plenty of parking and a very good promenade by the river very close to the hotel.

The pillows could be better. One of the rooms didn't have an actual shower but instead shower curtains - probably for accessibility purposes, but I wasn't aware that it's something I will encounter and I really didn't enjoy showering like this...

Breakfast is great! The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is pretty quiet and big, rooms are isolated and very comfortable.

Payment was stressful. I wanted pay in the hotel but the staff said that my card didn’t work and he tried to get second time. It worked in the second time but i checked account two payments were waiting for confirmation. I informed the staff and asked for checking but they did it in a wrong way. It is a long story. Just i would like to say if you pay via Booking account, it will be better.

Clean and tidy room which appears fairly new. Staff were friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Nice firmish beds. Handy location for our needs.

Smoking area should be away from the main entrance, smoke blew inside the lobby and we had to walk through the smoke cloud at times with our children. Our 2 rooms had a problem with excess heat which staff were aware of. We were unable to open our windows due to them being locked for "noise reduction reasons". The aircon was only effective on its noisiest, maximum setting, too loud for sleeping. Breakfast options were €16 full breakfast bar per person(!!!) or coffee and a snack bar. There was no 'middle' option, so we walked to the Avia gas station around the corner for excellent fresh croissants and coffee.

I don’t like the European style beds where they put two mattresses together. They are not locked and slip apart. And pillows and the beds were not that comfortable. I don’t like individual comforters but this is the case in all/most European hotels I visit so not a problem specific to this hotel. Though the beds were not the best quality.

Clean modern hotel for short stays. The location is very good, you can park for free or in the parking across the street. The rooms was clean and well decorated

No refrigerator was available in the room and the glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom meant that any use of the bathroom light during the night disturbed the other guest trying to sleep. This design choice made nighttime use quite uncomfortable.

We only stayed one night, but we had a good sleep. The hotel is a bit outside of the center and we used a bus to get to the center, which was fine, but very expensive! We paid more than EUR 14,50 for a return ticket for 2 people. Of course that's not the hotel's fault. And parking in the center is probably more expensive ;-). The breakfast was good. Mainz is actually very nice, we enjoyed our stay there.

Super clean, extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Very helpful staff, our room was very warm and the air conditioning was warm for the whole building so they arranged to open our window. Staff were excellent answering questions about transport etc. A little out of centre but plenty of buses or a scenic walk by the river. Excellent value for money for such a comfortable stay.

Found it weird that they don’t clean the rooms daily, shower didn’t have a door so water would run into the bathroom. While I get the entire sustainability aspect, would be nice to leave enough towels for the 2-3 days that the room isn’t being cleaned in advance in the room. Location is a bit in the industrial area so strictly okay to reach by public transport

The hotel is wonderful. The room was clean and quiet. Daily cleaning and bath towels were changed. It is quite enough for two people. The glass wall of the bathroom to the room is frosted and not a problem. Excellent room for this price. Paid parking is available right in front of the hotel, the price is 5 euros per night.

As a drawback, I can only point to the lack of a wardrobe and the sliding door of the bathroom and toilet, which does not provide enough privacy.

What a find. Ignore the bad reviews, this is a lovely hotel, new, clean, modern, great rooms, shower etc, and lovely staff. The breakfast was very nice also. NOTE: if you have a car, easier to pay the ten Euros to reception and use the car park across the road. Otherwise you have to drive around looking for a free space on the street (there were none when I was there).
