Modern boutique hotel in Ulm. Very modern, funky & fun decor and comfortable public spaces. Room was small, but had everything you need for a stay, including a small desk for working. Bathroom was great, with a walk-in shower that had a place to put soap/shampoo (I always appreciate this!) and towel heater. Beds were very soft (I prefer soft beds) and really comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with a hot selection (eggs/bacon) and a lot of other choices (meats/cheeses, fruit, cereal, veg, etc.). Only think I missed was good decaf coffee (but they had Karo & a selection of teas). Staff was very friendly! Elevator building. About 10 mins. walk from public transport (bus/tram). I'd definitely stay again.

Lighting is odd for the bathroom mirror - not great for putting on make-up. Not enough parking. I had to park somewhat illegally as I came later at night and there were no parking spots in the vicinity. The hotel has 8 spots and doesn't take reservations, so it's difficult if arriving later in the evening. On-street parking is possible, but a gamble.

Nicely decorated, modern, new hotel with in-house parking (extra €15,00 fee). Location right of the highway on our way to Austria. Staff was friendly and had restaurant suggestions prepared (Hotel doesn't have in-house restaurant for dinner)

Neighbourhood is not very attractive, specially in the evening. Going to the Ulm city center is quite a walk or requires a taxi. The front of the hotel is facing the tram-depot of the city of Ulm including a sharp turn right in front of the building. At night, there are quite a few trams that come into the depot and navigating the sharp turn makes quite a lot of noise.

Staff: The staff was exceptionally friendly, forthcoming and accommodating (especially the young lady at the Reception). Rooms: The rooms were very clean, nice and modern. I liked the shower very much, it's spacious and open-concept. What we loved the most was the bed - exceptionally comfortable and cozy. Usually the beds in hotels aren't very comfy but this one... top tier 🙌 The curtains were thick and didn't let almost any light through (I usually sleep in complete darkness and light disturbes me very much and even I was very satisfied). We got some great night's sleep. Location: The hotel is located next to some industrial facilities but we weren't disturbed by them at all. It's overall a very quiet neighbourhood. Next to the hotel is a beautiful park with a little creek running through it. By foot: It's a 20-25 minute walk to the city centre through some industrial neighbourhoods and along busy roads. Wouldn't recommend it for walking alone at night (I, as a woman, personally wouldn't have felt safe walking this route alone at night). I reckon there is another way through the main railway station, but Google Maps sent is here so I wouldn't know about that. By car: It''s only a 5 minute car-drive from the city centre. We recommend the Rathaus Garage as it is in the very city centre and it isn't too expensive for such a location (we paid 3€ for 1.5h). Parking: There's 2 parking possibilities: a parking space behind the hotel (10€/night) and an underground garage space (15€/night). Lobby: The lobby is super modern and cozy, absolutely beautiful. It is open space where also the breakfast is being served. There's a lot of different seating areas. Overall hotel vibes: Luxurious, lush and cozy 🥰 Food: We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't tell you how's the food but it did look very presentable and yummy.

The breakfast was delicious and a good variety of hot and continental choices. The hotel was within easy reach of the city centre by car. The room was clean and comfortable.

Most of the staff were pleasant and courteous. However the morning receptionist at checkout was not so pleasant - when I was trying to pay for extra costs with my credit card, she pressed the currency on the card machine (and held it away from me) and insisted that that was the way it should be done despite my explaining that the card owner usually selects the currency they wish to go with as the hotel will receive it in the local currency of the hotel anyways. I had not the time to wait and speak with another staff so I did not debate it further.

NYCE is a wonderful modern hotel, recently opened in Ulm. Fairly close to the train station (~20min walk or 13min by tram 1 & 2) and to the Ulm Cathedral (2 km). We stayed in a cozy standard queen room with very comfortable beds. The room and the bathroom were spotless clean and I particularly loved the walk-in shower. It is a great feeling to benefit from brand new items :). The hotel has a modern and functional lobby where the breakfast is being served as well. We didn’t have the breakfast this time as we had other plans, but for sure it looked diverse and tasty. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to come back!

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful room and bathroom and very clean! Breakfast was good and staff were really friendly. Underground parking was perfect and it's close enough to the city centre.

Last time our room was situated at the side of the building (which was good), but the time before that we slept on the street side - that's were the bus and tram terminal is. That side is quite loud, especially if you sleep with the window open. If you have the option, try to get a room not on the street side.

Very comfortable room. Had Aircon which was good as the outside temperature was hot. Park nearby very close for dog walks. Had a very good pizza in the restaurant! (Only pizzas available) Very good breakfast Underground carpark at a reasonable price.

Very nice, minimalist design interiors, all what you need is available, room was very clean with comfy beds and modern furniture, breakfast is basic but good quality, staff is friendly and attentive.

There is only very few parking spots in the garage, and you cant pre-book them, arriving later in the evening it is impossible to find a proper parking spot around the hotel proximity. Location wise it's bit far walk to historical city center.

A very nice and clean hotel located 25 min walk from the center.

I came with a dog and besides paying 15€ on top of my stay (which I new about) was asked to leave a 50€ deposit (which is not mentioned anywhere when you book). Unfortunately I payed with a card and on the day of departure they couldn’t return the deposit back due to technical issues. I’m waiting for the return within a week
