I had not fully appreciated that this was no longer the Ibis Hotel that I remember over many years of staying there. On my arrival day, after a long drive from Dieppe marked by many diversions I made it finally by 7.30 p.m. Expecting dinner, something I had always looked forward to (proper French food) in preceding years I was told the hotel no longer provided this service and the bar service could offer Pizza only. It was bad luck as I had had Pizza the night before & I was too tired to walk into Orleans.!! Also I was surprised how very few people were staying at the hotel. In the past in August it was buzzing with people. I may well change to another hotel on my way back to the UK.later this month.

Room was fine, parking was adequate, either on roads near the hotel or a car park at the rear. Breakfast was excellent.

Sadly, despite having been told initially that the restaurant would be open, it was closed. We were informed in advance. Thankfully there was a choice of other restaurants nearby, but the view from the hotel dining room, over the river is excellent, so disappointed not to have had our evening meal there.

As reported on earlier this month I have stayed here many times over the years as an Ibis hotel now the B&B hotel so no dinner now available. Fortunately this time I arrived in good time & dined in Orleans Centre. The hotel is well located with an excellent underground garage at euros 8 p.n.

parking was just in the street, room had everything we needed (only televion in french instead of english), we could walk to the center from our hotel, staff was very friendly, we did not took the breakfast, the bed was great, the shower also (bit small). we had a great stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was spacious, clean and cool. The air-con kept the room cool which is ideal for a city break in the summer. Bathroom adequate with good shower. The hotel is in a prime location right in the heart of centre Orléans. We had breakfast and dinner and both were delicious, good choices and value for money. We were treated with the upmost care, respect and consideration by the staff at all times. Due to circumstances we ended up extending our original stay and this was dealt with very efficiently. We would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend.

Typical IBIS, you know what to expect. Good breakfast, secure parking on site and right next to the inner ring road so short walk to the Statue of Joan of Arc

The carpark was a bit tricky on motorcycles with two barriers and only steps up two flights from the car park to the hotel (no direct access). You couldn't have done a drop and park as there was nowhere to park outside the hotel at all. I am sure disabled people would struggle.

The location was great for the train station, bus and A line tram. Our room was very quiet, the air-conditioning worked well. There is a grocery store and a laundromat within close walking distance. We opted for the breakfast, and it was excellent. Very nice to get a good cup of tea. The staff at the front desk were very helpful.

The room was a "comfort "room, which ment it was slightly bigger, and had a bigger bathroom. There would have been ample room for a queen or even a king bed, but there was only a double bed. The mattress wasn't very comfortable either. The bed is the most important part of a hotel, and it should be the very best that can be provided. Also, the previous guests had been smoking, and the room reeked of cigarettes when we first went in. There needs to be signs in the room reminding guests of no smoking.

Great hotel, very friendly receptionists, and a great secured parking with two gates and security code, which was exactly what we needed while travelling in our car. The room was tidy and the bed was cosy. The only thing I’d add is a kettle and some tea in the room, but in general everything was brilliant, thank you!

It was a short walk to the station to catch the tram

It was a little run down, with incomplete ceiling fixtures. Also the skirting boards and tips needed a clean. There was possible blood splashes on headboard that I cleaned when I got in to the room.

Nice hotel with pretty big rooms for the small price we paid. Walking distance from the beautiful city centre of Orléans for a smaller price since it was just outside of the beltway around Orleans. Comfortable beds.

The bathroom was very tiny and the shower wasn't intirely watertight, so the floor was a bit wet after showering.
