The pool and beach area was amazing. Loads of lunch options in the day (gyros, pizza, crepes, buffet and a la carte) and loved the mojito bar by the pool. Also have buses into Kardamena and Kos which are cheap and 2 shops that sell essentials on site, as well as a games room.

Quality of food in the a la carte restaurants was really poor and tiny portions and buffet food was repetitive. We ended up eating out in Kardamena most evenings as a result. Service was also really slow. Rooms are in need of refurbishment and would be good for the buses to run later in the day as there’s not many taxis in Kos which meant we had to queue for up to an hour to get a taxi back to the hotel.

There are a couple of things that are particularly great about this accommodation: - the pool area is quite recently renovated, and is perfect for young kids (we were travelling with a 14 month old). - they have three a la carte restaurants that are basically on the same location near the beach which are all three very good, look quite cute, and have sufficient choice and great quality. In the period we visited, we were able to make reservations for almost 60% nights of our stay. Also, during lunch no reservations were needed. - maybe this should have been the first bullet; but staff is absolutely great and goes above and beyond to comfort guests. There are places in the 5star category that are more luxurious but keeping in mind the pricing of this hotel, I have to say the all inclusive package offers an absolutely excellent value for money!

The rooms and the inside of the hotel is a little outdated. But that said, everything works well, is very clean and also has kind of a retro feeling to it. As such, this did not bother us.

Buffet was meh and the choices over the time of the stay were very samey. The al e carte restaurants were better but a lady next to me got served chicken so still not 5*! The pools were LUSH but they were not heated, the sea was warmer than the pools, but still nice and clean.

The hotel beach and pools are amazing, and beautiful! The main restaurant is great with great variety of tasty food. The best part of mitsis Norida, is it's staff - they made our stay comfortable and fun, and we felt welcomed and cared for the entire time! The activities organized by the hotel were great, and especially Ella made the volleyball and football tournaments (and the mini disco! ) super fun!

Everything was absolutely beautiful – the staff is very kind, the food is excellent and plentiful, pizza and pancakes are delicious. The sea is usually calm and simply stunning, and overall everything feels just perfect!

The only small downside is that the rooms and the furniture don’t really meet the standards of a 5-star hotel, but they are clean, well-kept, and the housekeepers are extremely friendly.

Big, very well organized. Facilities are not new, bath tubs, towels, beds are not the best but they are good enough. But it is by far the cleanest place i have stayed in! Staff is extraordinary: Super nice, professional, smiling faces in the middle of crowds! Thanks to each and every employee for making us feel at home! Food was delicious, there is food 24hrs! Beach bars handling crowd amazingly with a variety of decent drinks. I rarely write good reviews but Metsis Norida was worth it.

Would be best to see the layout before booking and if possible decide which part you want to stay. The area is really big and there are not many elevators or entrance for long floors if you are in one corner. We already decided rooms to ask for the next time!:)

There’s a bit of a rush on sunbeds round the pools. We went a couple of times at 8.30am to leave our towels there and only got 1 sunbed for 3 of us. Some families leave their towels on several sunbeds and barely use any of them.

Beautiful place with nice views. The staff went extra mile to make your stay best as possible. Drinks were always cold and tasty. The rooms were cleaned very well every day. Entertaiment team were amazing with great spirit. Buffet had a lot of options and food was actually nice. We got fresh beach towels daily. Laundry service was really fast and cheap. Even tho there were a lot of kids, we felt like we were at adults only resort! There were lots of activities for the children.

We had to get up really early to get chairs at the pool. At 7am it was already too late! The reservation system for a la carte restaurants was a bit unfair. We were able to book only one dinner for the whole week and that was only for our last night. There was only one available slot left for us to book for the whole week.. in general it felt like you have to rush to get to enjoy to have a nice experience and benefit from the prize that you pay.

We loved everything. 8,5 ---> 9 and I believe nothing is perfect :) The hospitality, the value they gave you, the entertainment, the snacks were to die for. The meals was also good but there is a room to improve. So, if they improved the meals taste wise and restaurant sitting system (waiting to be seated), it would be close to 10/10. The animation team was friendly in a good balance. So, no overboard you or care less of you. It was in perfect balance The scheduled activities, we enjoyed a lot. The beach and the sun beds was good and enough for everyone. The sea was good and clear but sometimes the wind gives you hard time. The pizza on the beach oh my good! and the people, I saw 3 people responsible of it. You can tell they love their job and it also gives joy to you to see that. the moves they make, the taste of the pizza just perfect! The creperie was also really good. The waitress is really good at her job. The taste of the crepe was really good. This was the longest review I gave :D the reader can understand how happy we were during our stay at Mitsis Norida!

Since it is a big hotel, for drinks and meals, you need to wait some queue. However, they highlighted the timeslots. If you do not want to face the crowd, just avoid the high demanded hours for restaurants. Nevertheless, it is worth to wait :) I found it strange that a waiter/waitress needs to show your seat. Some of the waiters/waitresses was really good but some of them make you feel like they don't want to be there and serve you. Late check out system can be improved because you would not know if you can have the room or not. It is not expected to let you keep your own room of course but I would expect the temporary room can have more a room vibe.

5 day stay here was easily the best place I’ve ever been. Arrived in May for my partner’s 24th. Friendly staff throughout the entire hotel. Stayed in the Maisonette with sea view which was spacious and clean. My partner was greeted with a birthday cake, decorated bed and a bottle of prosecco. The food, the a la carte restaurant’s were the highlight for me, great service and food. The buffet came with a wide range of international dishes. The creperie was manned with a waiter that had great attention to detail and always made us feel at home (try the volcano). The beach side was also equipped with pizza, gyro, hot dog and burger stands! Drinks, great bar men and women good selection and a bar in eye distance of pretty much everywhere. Entertainment, our nights we’re accompanied with singers and DJs with great performances Great WI-FI and a selection of international channels. Make sure you jet ski!
