It is great you can use the pools at the spa resort over the road too. Amazing location, clean rooms. Best part of this hotel is the staff they are sooo nice!

People come out at sunrise and reserve every single sunbed. 7 swimming pools and every single bed people have put their towels down by 8am, the staff need to bam this especially as there are signs everywhere saying this is not allowed.

The beds weren't good. The mattress was too soft and it had rollers meaning that the bed moves as you move during the night. The food in the buffet restaurant should be improved. Everyday is basically the same options and the options are not very good. Some days I couldn't eat at all. Luckily at some point I discovered the a la carte restaurant where the food is well done and has good options. The manager was not very friendly too but I will give a discount since we were in a heatwave and hopefully the bad humor was due to the hot weather. The fact that the water park which is very small is not included in the hotel rate. You have to pay a part if you are not getting the "all inclusive" option.

The hotel itself was good. I stayed b&b and indeed the breakfast did have something for everyone. From english breakfast, croissants and breads, salad and cheese and meats to cereals and yoghurts. The pools were well maintained and a great temp for cooling off in.

The rooms were entered and made up every day whether or not you had the sign on the door asking them not too! Bar staff at the pool were completely miserable and belong in another job. No smile. No please. No thank you! Not what you expect from a 5* facility when you are paying for a service! Getting up at 6am to reserve a sunbed is a joke!

The location was excellent, just a stones throw from the square and within easy reach of the beach and lots of beach bars and restaurants. The staff were fantastic, the grounds were beautiful and the rooms were clean and a decent size. We also had access to the sister hotel opposite.

The extra charge to use the water park on site (4 slides) was a bit steep at €10 per person per day. As a parent that needed to supervise my kids in there I was also asked to pay the entry fee to just sit on the sunbeds and supervise so it ended up quite expensive. Not a huge deal, but I had asked for a double bed for me and my partner and ended up with two singles pushed together, which we ended up sliding down the middle of when trying to have a cuddle at night.

Stayed for 2 week stay when travelling for our wedding. The service was faultless and all staff were so accommodating with all requests to help on the morning of the wedding. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice pools including children’s pool and play areas. Check-in and check-out is straight forward. The hotel is clean, presentable and close to everything you need.

Superior studio room was slightly too small for 2 adults and 1 toddler due to needing space for the cot. Lack of wardrobe / storage space for 3 people but the one bedroom apartment was significantly more expensive.

The hotel was a real highlight of our one-week stay in Crete! Everything was just amazing. Upon arrival we (my husband and I) were told that our room in Porto Platanias Village Resort was upgraded to a superior suite with private pool in another hotel of this hotel network - Porto Platanias Beach Luxury Selection. This was a surprise to us! Our room was very spacious and clean with a nice terrace, which had a table, armchairs, small sofa, a private pool and four sunbeds. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was just beyond our expectations. The buffet was diverse, the food - delicious, and the seaview from the restaurant's window was really breathtaking. Everyday we were looking forward to our meals:) We would definetely recommend this hotel for a holiday stay!

The beach was beautiful, but stony. You could come into the water only on certain spots.

Overall a really good stay, would like to return. Well kept rooms and resort, staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast food was good too, and located close to the beach and town of Platanias. The water park was excellent for our 5 and 9 year old. Gym facilities were v good.

the kids club was poor. The facilities were good but the staffing needs to be reviewed, there was a lack of enthusiasm/interest from the kids club staff in bringing kids into the club. The activities and programme were vague, with very little communication between the staff and the kids. Kids weren't interested in going again after one hour there! It's a shame as the facilities and equipment are good.

Rooms should have proper double bed rather than two single beds with wheels put next to each other. That solution does not work. For me issues were minimal but I can see this as a problem for other guests. Water park could be included in the price for hotel guests to up the experience.

Small en comfortable. The beach resort had most of the entertainment facilities we could use but was on the other side of the road for about 200 meters far. So it was quite a walk to go to your room en come back. Most facilities were there. Bed were very soft and uncomfortable. Breakfast was great
