I would give it strong 4 stars hotel for the things hotel provides, for example: robes, room slippers, even tooth brush kit-something that not every “good hotel 4 stars in Europe would provide. The ladies at the reception were kindest and sweetest people, very helpful and polite. Everything we requested upon our stay, was always answered with a YES! Room was spacious, good AC, even complimentary water/tea/coffee. Our windows were facing the main road which was always busy with tourists, but we did not hear any noise.

One of the ladies working at the breakfast restaurant brought glasses for the water, by putting all her fingers inside of them.

My stay at the Elia Platanias Hotel was simply fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, i was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to assist with any questions or requests. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern elegance with the charming essence of Crete. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and stylishly furnished, offering breathtaking views of either the sea or the meticulously maintained garden. Despite the lively atmosphere in the surrounding area, with bars and clubs nearby, the hotel provided a peaceful and comfortable retreat where i could unwind. The beach right in front of the hotel is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable loungers and shaded umbrellas. The crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean invite you to swim and relax – simply perfect! Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide selection of fresh, regional products that left nothing to be desired. From fresh fruit to local specialties and international classics, everything was available. The hotel’s location is ideal for those who enjoy being close to the action: restaurants, bars, and shops in Platanias are all within easy walking distance. Additionally, the proximity to Chania, one of Crete’s most beautiful cities, is another great advantage. All in all, I had an unforgettable vacation at Elia Platanias. The combination of excellent service, a lively location, and outstanding cuisine makes this hotel a true hidden gem in Crete. I will definitely return and highly recommend Elia Platanias to anyone looking for a vibrant and luxurious holiday on this beautiful island.

Nice appartment. Comfortable beds. Great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Jacuzzi and roof garden was a pleasant place to spend time, especially when you can't swim in the sea due to big waves.

No lift to the room, which was on the first floor. The shower is leaking, and our bath mat was almost every time wet. No salt an pepper which would be nice essentials for cooking. Fridge must be defrosted regularly as our salad and yoghurt were frozen even in the fridge area. Lack of utensils.

Everything was perfect! The size of the room, the comfort of the bed. The shower. The balcony looking onto the main street. The location and how close it was to all the shops, restaurants and the beach.

This hotel was located near both the beach and the main street of Platanias. It was a pleasant accommodation, the apartment was huge for one person (for four persons it may be too small). The bed was excellent and the view from the balcony was fabulous. Every day the room was cleaned, so after work it is a nice welcome home every day. The bathroom was amazing: the shower had three different options: rain shower, massage shower in the wall and a hand-hold shower with both hot and cold water. The people at the reception were always very friendly and arranged every wish you had.

It is not the most state-of-the-art all-in accommodation. There is no pool, which may be a pity since during my stay, there was too much current in the sea, so no swimming the entire week. This accommodation is more for work-related stays instead of full holidays, in my opinion.

Location to breakfast venue was appropriate. There were one or two new dishes everyday.

There was no date of expiry on the cereal bottles. Probably, this could be included in future.

The location is very close to the beach. In fact, there are several beaches near Elia: you can choose a beach with sunbeds and umbrellas or you can choose to stay on a beach where you can sit on your towel. The staff is extremely friendly and always smiling, willing to help you with anything. We really appreciated everyone from the hotel for their support in finding solutions for everything. The superior apartment is exactly like in the pictures, it is big and comfortable. All the propriety is very clean. Breakfast is prepared in the hotel and contains fresh and tasty traditional products We have a great vacation because of Elia's incredible team. Thank you!

Property was close to everything we needed short walk to the beach as well as lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again highly recommend
