Everything! The room was perfect till the last detail. Comfortable beds, the most amazing and spoiling bathroom I have ever had in a hotel. We had a suite for 4 with a terrace with a view to the lake and the ducks and geese. The free coffee in the room was very tasty and the TV was huge and movable between the bedroom and the living room. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. The breakfast buffet was generous and tasty with the best view of the lake. We were lucky with the weather so that makes everything even better! To add to the greatness of this hotel, there was a small gym, heated pool with glass windows facing the lake and a sauna. And... Bowling 🎳 The nicest one I have ever been to. Only 6 lanes and elegant. We were alone there. It was like a private bar/bowling. We also liked that it's not in the city but close enough to walk there. For us it was perfect to walk 30 minutes after eating...

We visited as a family of four (two adults and two elementary school children) by car. The room is large enough for four people to stay in one room. The parking lot is attached to the premises and there was plenty of space. When entering the parking lot, just press the button at the gate. When checking in, tell them that you are using the parking lot and pay the fee. When checking out, you will receive a paper with a barcode for the parking lot gate printed on it, which you scan at the gate to leave. After arriving check in, the staff's explanation was polite and they had lovely smiles, so I was able to relax. When I asked about the facilities I wanted to use, they explained the location and how to use them in detail. The room I stayed in had plenty of space and was well cleaned. The decor was calm and relaxing.I was able to leave my suitcase open. The room overlooked the river, and if it was a little warmer, I would have enjoyed taking a break outside. The breakfast was also rich in variety and I enjoyed it. It was delicious, so I enjoyed all kinds of meals. We used the swimming pool and sauna during my stay. Since we went early in the morning, there were no other guests, but the pool was well lit and the water temperature was just right for relaxation. The water was 140cm deep, so small children should be careful. The staff came to check on the pool and clean it regularly, so it was well managed. Unfortunately, we stayed here on a Monday while traveling, so we didn't do any sightseeing in the town, and can't comment on access, etc.

I couldn't find a supermarket nearby, so I had to walk about 1-1.5km. There were snack shops and vending machines where I could buy drinks. There was only one outlet by the bed, so I couldn't charge my phone when using a lamp. I had to reconnect the lamp cord and the charger cord at night.

No one is perfect guys (although you were close!): bed isn't perfect, for double beds I would love a more comfortable bed (my bed was a little older or it was to do with the set up - twin turned into a double) - the jacuzzi was broken when I visited - I hope this will soon be replaced with a free jacuzzi.

We had ordered 2 meals in the restaurant in the evening. One was delivered incorrectly. It was then no problem to get the right meal. It then took an extra 10 minutes. The bill was paid directly by card. The room and car park were also paid for by card directly at check-in. The unpleasant surprise at check-out: there was still an outstanding bill of €100 from the restaurant for food and drinks that were not ours in our room. There was a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. This was fine for me but if you were less mobile or with a big suitcase it would be an issue. My relative, who met us there from another country, got a cab from the station and was charged £75 euros for a journey which only cost £22 euros when we booked a cab to return to the station through the hotel

I was incredibly impressed with the property. We were welcomed warmly with the offer to store our bags until check in. We rented bicycles from the hotel which were high specification and given directions where to go and after a short 5 minute cycle we were by the canal and in the centre of the city. We were given food, drink and museum recommendations which were all spot on. Once we checked in we were greeted by so many nice touches. The children beds were decorated with a bear made of towels, eco friendly child specific toiletries, child slippers and a golden rubber duck. The room was very large and had all of the amenities you would hope for. We stayed there for its location as we wanted to cycle, be able to safely park the car and also be on the city outskirts for easy travel to Efteling. All in all I could not think of a better hotel experience to meet our needs.

The hotel staff was terrific. Very friendly and super helpful. I was surprised by the large room, comfy bed and balcony. Travelling with a pet is always a chore, but they made this trip easy. I appreciate the dog food bowls and bed that were in the room. The swimming pool and workout room were a nice plus. There's also a lot of greenery around the property, which is perfect for walking the dog.

The only complaint was the hamburger I ordered from room service. The staff that delivered the meal were incredibly nice, but the burger was much too thick and about half the size of the bun. On top of that, the bun was over-toasted and impossible to eat with my hands. I ended up discarding most of the bun and simply ate the patty with a fork and knife. Normally, I wouldn't mention this, but the burger definitely didn't warrant the €25 price tag.

Pleasant hotel with pleasant surroundings. Staff very helpful - always greeted with a smile. We were in a lake facing room. This was nice and quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our drinks on the lake side bar terrace.

Unfortunately the swimming pool & Sauna were closed for maintenance - but we were notified of this at booking, so we were aware of this.

Lovely setting, spacious room overlooking a secluded lake, silent except for the birds! Convenient ground floor room complete with dog-pillow, water bowl, poo-bags and treats. There was a mix-up with our booking but the receptionist really went above and beyond to acommodate us. Excellent service.

It was in a lovely setting but was quite a long walk into the city with no apparent public transport. Great on a bike or car. We enjoyed most of the dishes in the restaurant but the Bali chicken was unpleasant and the waiter did not listen when I told him the satai type sauce was bland and coagulated and showed no interest in the fact that I had not eaten any. Otherwis it was great and with a convenient area to eat with the dogs.
