Room on ground floor had a balcony with a low railing that faced the courtyard through which guests walked from and to the parking lot. This limits your privacy and can cause safety issues if you like lots of fresh air during the night (but there is a tiny window you can leave open).

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the lovely family suite at this hotel, and it was truly a wonderful experience. While the hotel and facilities may have a slightly outdated and old-style charm, they also boast a rich history that adds to its allure. Founded by a soldier of Napoleon who emigrated to the Netherlands aboard the ship "London," the hotel is adorned with elements that pay homage to this fascinating history. Despite its age, the hotel offers modern amenities such as a swimming pool, saunas, and a delightful breakfast spread. The staff were incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service throughout my stay. The restaurant, in particular, exceeded expectations with its five-star dining experience. One of the highlights of my visit was the flexibility of the staff, who kindly accommodated a late check-out request. This level of hospitality truly enhanced my overall impression of the hotel. I highly recommend this establishment to discerning travelers seeking a relaxing getaway. Whether you're indulging in spa treatments, enjoying delectable cuisine, or simply exploring the beautiful natural surroundings, this hotel offers something for everyone.

Oud London is a good hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful, it is clean, the room is good, it is clean and quiet. There is a good buffet style breakfast with plenty of choice. It has everything you can expect from a three of four star place. Perfect place if you like a nice walk in the forest. We stayed a couple of times over the years: reliably good.

Rooms on the lower floor only have a door to a balcony which is very easy to access from the grounds. So, if you like to sleep with an open window (no problem in a quiet setting like Oud London has) you need to ask for a room on the higher floor. It woud be nice to have an option for natural ventilation in all rooms.... less need for airco (which is not really needed in the Netherlands on most nights). You do need own transport or taxi/Uber as the nearby bus service is not frequent.

Quality hotel, large clean bedrooms, comfortable beds, option of bath or walk in shower, with its large free car park well located as a base for touring much of The Netherlands by car or enjoying the local countryside by bike. Good breakfast

Paper cups for coffee in bedroom. Everything comes at a cost. Free water in bedrooms would be a nice touch

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The arra is quiet, full of trees, bushes. Huge parking lot. Spacious rooms,and a good wellness arra.

Breakfast is always the same, no big choices. We did not have fridge ín the room, which should be a basic asset. The wellness is really a plus, but there are no towels, you have to take the ones from the room. Ín the room there is no bathrobe.

The location is amazing, quiet, in nature, scenic! The hotel room was very clean, the bed super comfortable and the people in the restaurant were exceptional! Polite, service oriented, professional and also friendly

Breakfast could be a bit better in terms of options, I would like some small sweet bites also, it was majorly savory - but all the food was fresh, plenty, lots of fruit, nice bread and selection of cheeses

Location is great, cenrally to both nature and Utrecht city by car, good parking available and wonderful restaurant onsite, staff superfriendly. Missed out on facilties due to medical reasons not able to use sauna. Great bathroom, spacy room, comfy bed and overall very good experience. Can recommend a stay here.

The food was very enjoyable

The bathroom really needs upgrading. Its old and showering in the bathtub is not off this time. Should be a nice walk-in shower Also, although mattress was comfortable as such, for me it was way too soft

Nice hotel, beautiful nature around and nice pony farm just in 4 minutes walk from the hotel, nice to good with kids there. Swimming pool and spa was nice!

Would be nice to have in the kids menu - pasta or spaghetti, chicken soup and some easy food for the kids 1-2 years old.

Clean big room with air conditioning. Separate toilet and bathroom.

Far (50-60 min. walk) away from the center of Zeist, public transport not very good, so we had to take a taxi/Uber all the time. If you have your own car, then this is a very nice place to stay.
