Great new facilities. Very clean. Fantastic view over the Wisła River. Many Zabka stores around. Public transport at your doorstep.

Rude and unprofessional staff. I had a rental car which I just rented that day, so I wasn't used to it and couldn't get out of the parking lot without scratching the car because the exit requires olympic level precision and speed. Otherwise the garage door will shut while you are still struggling to exit. I called the reception for help. And a ginger curly hair employee came down, loudly bashing me with another staff "you see it's a problem when people don't know how to drive" in Polish. She thought I dont understand but I did. No apologies were made. Hey I take that 100%. I struggled with the new rental car. But it is still unprofessional to say that in front of the customer. I won't stay again until the staff is retrained.

Good location in the city centre (the hotel is amongst reconstructed buildings and green areas, which is nice to stay in) and close to the airport or train station if you take a taxi. There is a shopping centre next to the hotel if you need gifts or just things for yourself. There is also a food market and a nice coffee shop nearby for lunch or coffee. The breakfast is good. Separately, I want to draw attention to the wonderful very large blankets in the room. If I need to spend 1-2 days in Warsaw, I will choose this hotel again.

I especially liked the location of the hotel. The staff was wonderful—very friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English with a touch of well-measured humor. A special shout-out to the waiter in the sports bar who gave a great dinner recommendation. The hotel offers a beautiful view of Warsaw, especially from the bar on the fifth floor. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. The rooms are lovely, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—just perfect for a proper rest.

The only downside was that the bar on the fifth floor, despite its amazing view and atmosphere, doesn't serve any type of food—not even light snacks or cheese plates—which would have been ideal to enjoy alongside a drink.

I really enjoyed staying at the Barceló Warsaw Hotel. The location is fantastic—right in Śródmieście, with the newly revitalized Elektrownia Powiśle area just around the corner. There are great restaurants, cafés, and a shopping mall nearby, and it’s easy to access public transit. The Old Town Square is walkable in about 15 minutes. Our room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The hotel has a stylish, contemporary feel and made a great base for exploring Warsaw. Another highlight was the amazing breakfast. The staff—particularly the well-dressed and extremely polite men managing the seating and replenishing food—were professional and attentive. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with a wide selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, cheeses, juices, coffee, and even loaves of bread you could slice yourself and toast. There were also delicious desserts that felt like a special treat each morning. It was truly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had.

During our six-night stay, our bed sheets and pillowcases were not changed, which I found a bit unusual for a hotel of this standard. We also ran out of soap and had to ask the cleaning staff to replenish it. Additionally, while the front desk staff were generally friendly, they could be a bit overly direct at times. That said, the lobby was modern and inviting, and overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is about a 20-30 minute walk to the old town, but it is situated near to the Vistula river with a pleasant riverside promenade giving easy access to it. There is an attractive bar/café on the 5th floor which gives great views across the river. There are numerous restaurants and cafes in the vicinity but the location is also quieter than the old town or royal route, which suited us well. The bedroom was a good size, all mod cons, very clean with a large comfortable bed and a decent bathroom. There is a small gym so a basic cardio or weights session is also possible although with 4 people in there it was a bit cramped..

The rooftop pool is not big enough to swim in, and a bit too chilly to stand in!

Hotel is located in a very nice and stylish area, close to the river. Elektrowni Powiśle, former power plant transformed into a shopping mall with lots of restaurants, is just 100 metres away. You can walk to the old town in 20 minutes. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was also very good, with a lot of options. Beds were quite comfortable.

We were given a handicap room on our first night. Especially the bathroom was very uncomfortable, and it was all wet after the shower. The air conditioning was a bit noisy as well. But once we raised our complaint the next day, they kindly changed our room for a regular one and it was really nice :)

The room was exceptional, incredibly comfortable, with everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean, the bathroom had a great shower and all the bits and pieces you could need (shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, etc) and huge fluffy towels. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable. The location was very convenient, close to the metro. Good bar on the top floor.

I have no complaints.

Amazing hotel! I loved absolutely everything — the stylish interior, the perfect location, and the great transport connections. Public transport is just around the corner, and everything you need is within walking distance. One of the highlights is the variety of excellent restaurants nearby — whether you're in the mood for local specialties or something more refined, there's something for everyone. The staff deserve a special mention: incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. They truly make you feel welcome and at home. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it to others!

The hotel is well located. Not directly in city center but very walkable. It’s right next to a very modern trendy eatery area and only 15-20 min by foot to the old town. Located directly at the river allows jogging/walking. The room was nice, modern and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

What the hotel could do better: Parking - they did not inform us where/how to park (it’s paid parking, so you know) and unless you know what “Miejsce zarezerwowane” means (translate: reserved spot) you assume this is reserved for hotel guests? Wrong! Turns out the only spots you are allowed to park are those without this reserved sign. There was only one left, I guess we were lucky. Gym: their gym is nicely equipped but in the bowls of the building, underground, next to the first -1 floor of the parking garage. Not sure if I felt safe as a woman there alone off-hours? And the outdoor pool? Tiny (you can float but not really swim) and not heated. In July it was too cold to go in. Maybe in August : )
