The Room and the place

I recently stayed at this hostel and found the room to be very clean and comfortable. However, I was disappointed with the receptionist's behavior. They did not seem to be very accommodating or friendly towards foreigners, which made me feel unwelcome. As someone who travels often, I believe that all guests should be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of their nationality or physical appearance. While the room was satisfactory, the poor receptionist service left a negative impression on my overall experience at the hostel

Wonderful location. Lots of shops, cafes, sights of interest around. My main reason to stop there was the luggage storage room on the ground floor. It’s my pain of many years to find a hostel with a proper luggage room ( most of them have this facility but you have to drag your suitcases up and down the stairs which is so hard for me). The staff was very friendly and would let me keep my bags in the storage for many hours after I checked out. I could also use the kitchen and the living room as long as I needed. They also have a tiny comfy garden with hammock and swings.

I lived on the 3rd floor and there was no bathroom there. I had to go to the second floor. Bathroom was very small with only 2 toilets and 2 showers. It could also be a little cleaner in the bathroom but the room itself was nice and tidy.

Very good location for the university of Warsaw. Also not very far from the river and from the old town. The hostel is very clean. It was quiet and everyone behaved very civilized and nice.

If you stay in a room without a private bath/WC it may be a bit tricky as there are no communal toilets/showers on the third floor and not too many on the other floors

The common room, atmosphere, clean and fresh feeling. I appreciate the details that make the stay even more enjoyable. I really appreciate the kind help and patience from the staff, I could leave my private valuable thing in the reception. It felt safe and solid

The bunk bed could be more comfy, it is making noises. The wires of the hairdryers in the shared bathroom are very short, which is inconvenient.

This is a great hostel—quiet, clean, and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A hairdryer can be rented free of charge, which I much appreciated. I could leave my luggage in the deposit box even after checking out. I especially liked that the lockers in the room were big enough to hold a backpack or small suitcase.

No curtains attached to bed - everyone has a different sleeping schedule, and some people check in during the night; thus, having a curtain would solve the issue of the light beaming in one's face. This would also increase the feeling of privacy.

The location is great. Very close to navy swiat street , Vistula river side and walking distance to the Old Town. The common area of the hostel is really nice. Free tea coffee available at all times. Free to use washing machine , you may buy a detergent capsule for 5 zl from the reception. ( Kacper is amazing , very helpful, smiling , genuine and professional. Lola is also really nice . Thank you guys🙏❤️) . There is big Lidl supermarket nearby and lots of Zabka markets, pharmacies , cafes and restaurants. To me hostel was very clean despite being popular and quite full.

No privacy curtains, No elevator, quite noisy area

The staff was very friendly, and the hostel was clean and well-maintained. The location is great—I was able to walk to the city center easily. There's also a Zabka convenience store right in front of the hostel, and a LIDL supermarket nearby, which was very convenient. Plus, it's just a short walk to Chopin's Museum. You can also walk to the train station or catch buses from nearby stops, making it easy to get around. For those traveling to or from Modlin Airport, it's about a 1.5-hour trip by train. There's also a kitchen with coffee and tea available in the morning, and a washing machine for guests to use.

The only drawback was the noise from my roommates, which made it a bit difficult to sleep at times. However, I understand this isn't something the hostel can control.

The staff were really friendly, and there was a nice atmosphere. The room was basic, but clean and relatively spacious (it was a 6-bunk room and my group was renting the whole room). There were lockers provided to store valuables. Every bed had a lamp and an outlet plug. There was also one small desk in the room. Large windows let in lots of light and were helpful for letting in a breeze in the summer heat.

Only complaint is when booking it said we would have our own private bathroom, but the room did not have an ensuite. There was a bathroom right outside our door but it was accessible to anyone and others did use it. However, there were enough showers and toilets on our floor that this wasn't really a problem.

One of the few hostels in warsaw with basics covered. It was 5th on my list to stay. But it is under rated hostel. Has a common room to chill, dining area, kitchen to cook. In Winters, heating with hot showers. And large lockers inside the room. This and many other features missing in other hostels in warsaw. Either locker in A&o missing or kitchen is missing. And here price is lowest. AB hostel has everything but small kitchen and climb upto 5 floors So this is best hostel
