The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were all keen to assist and make our holiday perfect.

The music around the pool became louder during the afternoon and there was nowhere to sunbathe or relax in peace and quiet….even on the beach as the speakers were placed along the beach promenade. It would be nice if there was a dedicated quiet zone! However I understand that the hotel is a “lifestyle” hotel maybe dedicated to younger clientele or guests who don’t mind loud music all day.

Pros about this hotel: - exceptional breakfast with a great selection of delicious food - very nice staff - lobby area and poor/bar/restaurant area looks amazing - very nice and big sunbeds - beautiful atmosphere

Cons: (that made me not want to come back here) - very far from everything - dirty beach - no ring bell at the sunbeds so it is very hard to order something (need to look for them or go there etc - looooong) - swimming pool water is cold - its a must to be heated - room is outdated feels old af

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time at the Met was because of Javier and the rest of the resort staff. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive from Diogo who served us coffee at breakfast, Maria who helped us at Isola, Alex who helped with our car and our wonderful cleaning staff as well! Everyone was so thoughtful and accommodating. The room was incredible and the view breathtaking. It was the perfect retreat for us. We really enjoyed chatting with all of you and will miss our home away from home.

Stunning hotel, amazing view of the sea. Room was excellent, house keeping always ensures you had fresh towels (even changing them twice a day!) We had breakfast included which had amazing options, including freshly made omelettes, eggs Benedict etc. Pool was huge and definitely enough sunbeds to accommodate for every guest. Two restaurants on site, we tried both and they were excellent! We drove from the UK so parking was important. Valet parking was charged but exceptional service, always happy to help bringing the car in/ out, under cover and secure. Great poolside snacks available as well as cocktails. (Padel/tennis court is opposite the hotel as well as jet ski rental on the beach)

Only bad thing is a lot of the time we were waiting on food/ drink service on the sunbeds. Our recommendation would be a QR code to order, as we know we would’ve spent a lot more. We drove so location wasn’t a problem however everywhere we wanted to go was at least 20 minutes away.

Really nice and clean rooms with everything you need for a pleasant stay. In general the pool area and the beach are also really good and I would definitely recommend this property to everyone going to Marbella area. Staff is really nice and willing to assist with anything you need. Decent option of different restaurants working on the property (Isola, Ammos)

Pool staff and the quality of food and drinks served at the pool & beach(Azure) are bellow standard of this hotel. Waiting time to order and get something are absurd on the pool & beach. Quality is also bellow average, basic food that is usually served as kids menu in most of the restaurants. Breakfast also need some more options, if you are staying there for longer than 2 days it gets pretty boring to eat same stuff each day. There are literally 20 types of spreads for your pancakes, but only couple of hot dishes available for breakfast that never change.

Super modern and clean hotel with nice pool area and direct beach access. Welcomed by friendly staff and blown away by great breakfast.

Questionable value for money including prices for extra services and food and drinks inside the hotel considering there are no other options nearby, e.g., Aperol Spritz for 18€

Big and comfortable room, nice hotel beach area, excellent breakfast, good restaurants and tasty food. Extremely friendly and professional staff and service. Exceptional cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.

Double long chairs at the beach and pool area make no sense, because singles occupy 2 places. Go green policy of the hotel should include that the lightning at the balconies would be switched of automatically during the day. Music at the pool area and some evenings in the restaurants too loud, couldn't hardly speak together.

The hotel was lovely. The location was great, the rooms were well kept and cleaned, and the size of the room and balcony was nice as well. The pool was great, and was very well maintained as well, as we would see them clean it thoroughly every night. The property was well decorated as well, simple yet charming.

The only downside of this property was the service. I’m not sure if they were understaffed, or are not used to the summer crowds, but everything was SO slow! When ordering something at the pool, we would have to ask multiple times, and it still took so long. Even when ordering something to the room, we would have to call multiple times to remind them, and it took forever!!

Breakfast was superb with a combination of A la Carte and Buffet. Room was adequate as you only slept in it. Brilliant shower in a small bathroom. Our room had a patio area with a table & two chairs and 2 sunbeds on the ground floor and about 10 yards to the pool and sunbeds etc. Beach was about 50 yards from the Hotel. Food was very good with great staff. Music was played during the day that was not intrusive.

I would have expected more consistency from a 5 star hotel. Towels were changed at night after asking but not every night unless you asked again. Part of the dressing table was taken up with a tray of expensive half bottles of alcohol that just took up useful space. Sometimes you had water left in the room at night but again not every night. Hotel had a Greek and Italian restaurant which were excellent. There were a couple of Chiringitos with in easy walking distance but that was about it for restaurants. Needed to go by taxi €22 (Uber) to Estepona where were you spoilt for choice

This was the best hotel experience in my life and I travel a lot with more than 200 bookings. Amazing place with huge pool overlooking the sea and the beach. Beautiful, modern building, spacious rooms, great spa and sport facilities, 2 restaurants and few bars. Incredibly kind, helpful and professional personnel starting from reception staff, experience managers, bartenders and resto staff, lobby/parking/pool boys including cleaning staff or even elevators mechanics. Breakfasts were awesome with million things to pick from, great selection of wines and drinks, delicious meals in Lola bar, Italian and Greek restaurants, minibar in rooms also with great variety of snacks and drinks. They even discovered my birthday and offered delicious cake and bottle of Cava to celebrate it. You will not find better place near Marbella and Estepona.

After few hours I managed to connect my Google TV / Netflix stick but it required chirurgical precision :-) So to facilitate the TV could be on a pivoting frame...
