The room itself was really great! Big and super comfortable bed, everything functioning, so that it was a real pleasure to spend time there. It’s quite close to the beach, in the more tranquil side.

It’s a big hotel, so it gives quite of an impersonal and cold feeling. The staff at the front desk wasn’t particularly nice, while the cleaners were really sweet. Walls are not soundproof: I could hear very well the crickets outside and people in the next rooms talking (and not only that sadly).

The hotel itself was already the vacation, walking distance from aonang beach, we have the best nature view in our room, the rooftop pool was superb, place was neat and clean all staff were very warm and accommodating, they gave us a welcome drink and they were very helpful, I would definitely recommend to my friends and family

The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk to the beach and main town and there is also a small market behind the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds are very comfy and there's a very deep bath as well as a shower. Smart TV, good wifi and mini bar, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast is varied and the staff in the breakfast room are very helpful and friendly.

The staff in the rooftop pool area aren't very friendly, they barely look up from their phones to serve you, they have very poor communication. There was a storm coming in and just started putting everything away, not explaining what was going on or that the pool area would close. Our room did have quite a damp smell, we think it was coming from the bathroom, but wasn't the most pleasant. The water pressure was ok, but not great. The onsite restaurant is just ok, not a lot of atmosphere, it's better to visit one of the restaurants in the town.

Not really pool people but enjoyed two late afternoons of happy hour cocktails (recco 4 cocktail sampler special) and food before gorgeous sunsets by infinity pool. Staff was very accommodating and even allowed us to order more food after kitchen cutoff time. Had 2 rooms for 5 people, triple room was very spacious with multiple charging outlets and luggage space. Location is walkable to beach, boats to other islands and main Ao Nang town area. Easy access to Railway Beach for day trips and awesome rock climbing. FYI-taking a Phi Phi Island boat tour from Ao Nang vs. Phuket is better because less time on the boat and more time to snorkel and enjoy islands!

Ended up taking tuk tuks one night back to hotel because path from town was not well lit but honestly not bad. Only a few blocks and felt safe. Alternatively, one night we took path back from town along the beach which was also a good option, well lit and fine for two females to walk back alone safely. The hotel is about a block from the beach and a few blocks from town, so just right.

Had a nice two weeks in this Hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful enough. Had an amazing view from my 5th floor balcony overlooking Ao Nang.Only needed bedding changed and room cleaned once every three days being a solo traveller and every time i requested it they cleaned the room thoroughly. Paid for breakfast a couple of mornings-300 baht on the door. Pretty standard breakfast for a 4 star hotel in Thailand. The hotel is a bit tired in places outdoor decor wise but that hard to stay on top of in a Tropical climate. Location was excellent with the Beach and Restaurants a 5 minute walk away. Cocktails on the rooftop bar were bit low on alcohol.Be careful at Money Exchanges booths.I was shortchanged twice for 1000 baht but they rectified it when i told them. The one next to the Hotel is good i found. Overall a good hotel and i would stay here again.The sunset picture was taken from my balcony.

There was nothing i didn’t like.

The hotel is secluded, yet still not far from the beach — which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the cozy rooms, and the friendly staff.

One downside was the grey sofa in our room — it appeared old, dusty, and unclean, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. We would have liked the rooftop pool to stay open later in the evening (or even better, all the time). We also had access to the side pool serving a few rooms, which was nice but a bit cold since it’s in the shade most of the day. Overall, a pleasant stay — we’d rate it 8.5 out of 10!

Everything about the accommodation was exactly what we were looking for as a couple celebrating our first wedding anniversary; adults only, our porch was a few metres then we were in the pool; could swim to the bar for some mocktails in about 27 seconds; staff were amazingly kind and gracious; food throughout the restaurants was great; rooms, bed, bathroom all cool and comfortable; the two swimming pools on the rooftop bar overlooking the Andaman Sea, surrounded by natural jungle beauty, with massive limestone outcrops dwarfing you as you'd stand in disbelief looking at the sheer beauty that surrounds you was transcendental. It was also great being so conveniently located to the heart of AoNang, and only a few hundred metres walk from the beach so we could hear waves crashing at night, but as it is on a dead end road, as the beach is there; the serenity from lack of western industrial crap is pure bliss. We plan on returning for another fortnight next year, and we rarely return to countries or accommodation that we've travelled to prior, thus this is a good indication of how relaxing this hotel is.

We were looking for somewhere quiet, and The BlueSotel SMART delivered. It’s tucked just off the main road yet still close to the beach. Our room was comfortable with a nice view, and the breakfast spread was great - simple but delicious. The pool was spacious and relaxing, and the rooftop bar was cool, open, and offered a great evening view. Even though it was monsoon season, we got all three days of clear blue skies, which made the trip even better. Overall, a pleasant and peaceful stay.

The hotel is located slightly off the main road, so it’s a bit of a walk to get there - which can be tricky if it’s raining. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were unfortunately too soft for our liking, which took away from what could’ve been a great night’s sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at this adults-only hotel. One of the best parts was having our own private plunge pool—perfect for relaxing in peace and quiet. It was also great to have access to the other two shared pools for a change of scenery. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, especially the housekeeping team who kept everything clean and comfortable. Having scooter rentals and a tour booking service available right at the hotel was super convenient and made exploring the area much easier. Overall, a relaxing and well-run place to stay—highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

The size of the rooms were great, and the bed very comfy. We enjoyed our greeting with a lovely drink to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was ok, standard. The rooftop pool is the highlight of this hotel, lovely for relaxing by.

On our arrival our private pool (which we paid extra for) was full of leaves and cigarette buds, so hadn't been attended to before our arrival. They did however come and clean the pool the next day. Would say its not worth springing for the private pool option as there is nowhere to lounge after being in the pool. Cleanliness was fine, but definitely not the cleanest hotel I've stayed at.
