Nice resort with large pool and many sun beds

Some of the guest would go down a sunrise and reserve a sun bed. Then go out and explore the island and come back. Leaving the sun beds reserved for 5 hours without anyone using it. Typically boomer behavior and it’s the first time I’ll experienced it in Thailand. The resort should make a large sign stating that you can at maximum reserve a sun bed for 2 hours etc.

Loved the wide beachfront of this hotel, lots of room for guests to spread out, unlike other hotels we've stayed in. Our room was big, clean, and the balcony had a great daybed. Location can't be beat, everything within walking distance, not necessary to rent a scooter. Staff was incredible, each one strived to make our stay more enjoyable. Happy hours run several times a day, with lots of wait staff making the rounds to make sure all guests were looked after. Some nights they had live music on the beach and a weekly fire show.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre, the coffee machine needs to be upgraded, it made extremely subpar brews. Like all other hotels, there were never enough sun beds for everyone, most people reserved chairs with towels and didn't show up to claim them until hours later. Our room had incredibly high humidity, like water on the walls and flat surface. After sharing this with the front desk they did put a dehumidifier in the room which made a world of difference and allowed us to fully enjoy the room. The water pressure is not the best, I think because the hotel is so big and it was full when we stayed there. The bed was super comfortable but the pillows were too hard for me, would be nice if there were soft pillows available. We would stay here again if it weren't for the pillows!

Rooms are spacious & comfortable, with a nice balcony, & very clean Excellent location right in the middle of Kai Bae Good & large pool Great sunset view. Staff, especially the reception team, are highly professional, speak good English, and solved (minor) issues we had effectively. Very impressive design. Very good value for money

It's more of a hotel rather than a resort. For us, it lacked some "character" No direct beach access (has sea view, & you have stairs to the water, but it's a rocky area) Breakfast was average Hot water pressure is not very strong

Great location at the center of Koh Chang's west coast. All shops, massage parlors, restaurants, and markets are within walking distance. Overall the hotel is very nice and spacious, with great facilities and the staff does their job very well. Super big and clean swimming pool working from 8.00 am till 8.00 pm. Happy hour starts at 4.00 pm when you can get a buy 1 get 2 promotion. Great deal for just 220 baht. Good breakfast, Thai and European menu. There is no real sandy beach but you can find plenty of sunbeds at the improvised beach area.

The aircon is quite noisy and makes everything in the room feel damp. Storage space is very limited, considering the room size. There is no chest of drawers, no cupboards, and too small hang space.

location is near kai bae beach, another center of the island. closer to the jungle weather with several showers. the best thing was the hotel room. it was pretty big with a nice ocean view. I would recommend the room.

The pool needed some cleanness maintenance or circulation. The food was not that great to be honest. the room needs more lighning. It is too dark.

It was beautiful at the front of the property near the pool, where we was located was right at the back on the other side of the street, which was lovely and quiet but took away from how gorgeous the rest of the hotel was!

Very clean and close to everything.

The Breakfast is not very good. You have to constantly wait for things to be made and there is also not a huge variety for continental or American selections.

Unfortunately it seems people can reserve sunbeds, there should be a no show rule of 30 min.

Rooms were clean, staff tried their best to help out, and a happy hour that goes from 1pm to 9pm was really enjoyable. They also featured special events some evening that were really entertaining. The pool was an excellent way to refresh most days. Excellent location, close to several beaches and good restaurants.

Breakfast was good but unimaginative. Same meal almost everyday with the only thing changing was the Thai dishes. Rooms are a little outdated and could use some proper maintenance. Having said that, we did come at the end of the tourist season there, so that may be one of the reasons.

The area is really lovely and all in all was the Awa a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and the stuff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is great to take a swim and you can walk to the ocean. There is no sandy beach at the hotel but just walking distance away so I didn't mind.

All in all it was great. The WiFi was often out or not strong. But I was here in low season so that's normal for the island. Also the room was sometimes a little bit moist but this might also be a rainy season Problem. The breakfast was not my favorite.
