The resort itself is beautiful, villas tucked away in a luscious and landscaped jungle environment, we were blown away by the environment. It was quite warm when we visited so we loved the cold plunge pool in our room when not swimming at the beach. Staff were incredibly warm and friendly and our villa host was helpful, welcoming, and made our stay feel special. The nearby village (just a minute or so walk) has plenty of good local restaurants, thai massage, i ice cream and is quite walkable and pleasant.

Services (restaurants, spa) at the hotel were very expensive for the value - meals and spa treatments were about 5-10x the price of comparable services in town. Many many families with young children made the common areas of the hotel unpleasant - children screaming and running around the breakfast buffet without parents around, jumping off the swim-up bar into the pool, etc, making it hard to enjoy and relax in common areas

The level of service and luxury is indescribable. The staff is super nice and attentive, giving you attention at all times. The room is cleaned twice a day and is very spacious with a nice private pool. The food at the Japanese style restaurant at the hotel is very high level, some of the best we had in Thailand (albeit being the most expensive too). The breakfast is also exceptional and rich with a large buffet and many complimentary dishes to order. You truly get one of the most comfortable and luxurious hotel experiences you can get with an excellent view on a tropical island.

We took a room with a beach front which is very nice and convenient, but it lacks some privacy. People (and animals) can come inside the room from the beach unbothered, be it on accident or not. There were also some birds who left their feces and some fruits on our outdoor bed several times a day, but it should be mentioned that the cleaning staff took care of that quickly and sometimes before we could mention it. Additionally, everything inside the hotels is several times more expensive than outside, but it is also somewhat expected.

Wow! Just wow! From our Arrival till we left - everything has been great, more than great! The super friendly and always helpful Staff, our wonderful Pool Suite, the Food, the Service, the Kindness we felt - whenever someone out of the Staff crossed our way, the whole Hotel Complex - so lovely with Plants just everywhere... This has been an absolutely "jackpot" Trip to wonderful Koh Phangan! And there has been nothing more to ask for! We just loved to be there, felt warmly welcome and more than super cared for! Nothing! Everything has been perfect!

An amazing hotel! Everything is beautiful and well-maintained. The room is spacious and very clean; the bed is super comfortable. The staff is wonderful throughout the hotel. They are generous in their help. Thanks to Nooni from the reception, who was so kind and helpful, and assisted us with everything we requested! He helped extend our stay in the same room with a kind discount. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurants inside the hotel were as well. A bit expensive, but a great value for the money.

It's definitely the best hotel on the island, in terms of rooms and service. Our Beach Pool Villa was amazing with the jungle bathroom and seaviews. The staff is also nice and attentive. My favourite was the Spa, it had the most beautiful location with ponds, plants and stones and the service there was excellent. The Japanese restaurant although expensive, has great fresh food.

They take advantage of the people with very high prices for everything, being the only nice 5-star resort on the island. There is no kids club, so after a while boring for families with kids. The pool bar's blue LED light looks cheap and kills the atmosphere. The beach was disappointing with big waves and deep water. The hotel is on the East side so there is no sunset, and you feel isolated from the rest of the island.

Everything (as in every single thing and every detail) was simply amazing - truly a paradise! The pictures are very accurate. Facilities, food, drinks, staff, pool, and beach were all beyond excellent. The resort is laid out beautifully in a rain forest-style setting on the beach. The villas are spacious, very private and well decorated, there are plenty beach beds and parasols (also around the pools), the service is amazing with good food and drink selection to order on the beach, the restaurants are great and with a good variety, the breakfast is super delicious, and I could go on. We will definitely come back!

Everything.. huge beach frontage, good staff, excellent food and a great bay. Beach villas are amazing in very clever landscaping.

Very little.. price point is a little high for Thailand and therefore criticism must be contextualised to the price…Mattresses are very comfortable but have already sagged due to guest use. At that price they need to be perfect. Lots of trainee waiter staff so small mistakes abound. Picking at straws though.. it’s a great property.

everything was VERY expensive. A thai massage costs 350 baht everywhere in Thailand - except Anantara where it’s 3900 baht! Yoga is either free at many hotels or 300 baht for a drop in session everywhere else but it’s over 1000 baht at Anantara. 30 mins in the steam room is 950 baht!!

Amazing room, amazing private beach, very well maintained common areas, nice pool, SUP for free (only 3 though), cleaning 2 times a day And above all is the exceptional service by all the very nice employees

All the services apart from breakfast are approximately 10x more expensive than from the outside shops (food, laundry, taxi, boat etc.)
