The reception staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stayed in a superior room, which was spacious and offered city views with a partial glimpse of the Bosphorus. The hotel's location was perfect, a couple of minutes away from Galataport, a hub of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It was also just 100 meters from the tram station, providing easy access to attractions like the Egyptian Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, and the Grand Bazaar. Don't miss their restaurant, Azure; it boasts a wonderful Bosphorus view, especially before sunset, and the food was delicious.

Beds were not very comfortable but ok . Wish if there were more variety in the breakfast . Minor things for improvement.

It is a pleasant hotel near the Galata Port, with lot of restaurants arround. It was clean, and comfortable. They have a very good restaurant on rooftop, with a great view, good food, good music and shisha. The room was the same as in pictures, modern and spatious.

When we arrived we had to wait a lot because the room was not ready yet. The hotel is close to the road and it was a little noisy. What we didn’t like is that they forgot to provide water in the room, we had to call service room daily, also once after cleaning they didn’t leave any towel so we had to ask at the reception, we had to buy toilet paper and shower gel /shampoo etc. because they didn’t provide them since we arrived. The included breakfast in our opinion was poor.

It was a great experience overall. We spent some time choosing the hotel and we are very happy that we decided to stay at Metropolitan. We appreciated the very kind and helpful staff, the high level of cleanliness throughout the property, and the well-equipped rooms that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The interior design is quite stylish. Very recommended. Once again - big thanks to the personnel starting from reception and up to the restaurant (btw - the view there is truly amazing), who made our stay very special.

The hotel staff were so kind and friendly, The hotel itself so clean and calm، it's located in the middle of very nice area with nice view to the Bosphor, the view from the restaurant in 7th floor is amazing at the morning time, I loved it.

Nothing in general

The hotel has a great location & staff are very very friendly and helpful. Whatever you ask for, they bring it in a couple of minutes. This is my second stay at this hotel.

The breakfast is good but was much better when I stayed two years ago. I asked for earl grey tea & cappuccino they said only regular tea & American coffee are included, anything else you should pay extra! I booked the sea view room, it was nice but small. They need a bit of renovation. The iron board was very old. The room had a problem with electricity but they fixed it after calling them.

The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Location was very good. Breakfast/restaurant place has spectacular view of the Bosphorus. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was well equipped, spacious and lovely shower. JUST DARK.

Restaurant food wasn't all that and pricey. The breakfast was ok. our booking included breakfast but when I asked for hot chocolate since I don’t drink coffee or tea they asked us to pay for it. The rooms have no view at all and it was very dark. They could do with adding more ceiling lights. The wi fi was annoying coz everytime you turn your phone on one has to input the password again!

Hotel in a very great location, right opposite the tram line which leads you to all the popular hotspots. The hotel staff were amazing and accommodated all our needs and if we asked for something they would bring it right away. Our room was cleaned everyday and the overall hygiene of the hotel was very good. The rooms are very sound proof as well you could not hear the traffic even though we were facing it. The Azure restaurant on the rooftop is a nice touch with amazing food and shisha.
