The property is very clean, great walking distance to Taksim square and has everything you would need. Staff are helpful and prompt.

The major downfall of this property is the size of the double room. We booked superior double room with Bosphorus view. The view is absolutely amazing however the room itself is very small with no room to open our suitcases comfortably etc. the wardrobe again is small, a single wardrobe enough for a single traveller. This did lower the rating of the room. Apart from this, our stay was beautiful.

Good value for money (includes breakfast). Location is good, up on the hill. Staff is good. Good brekkie overall. The WiFi is not strong but enough to browse on your phone

Beds are a bit too soft. Good breakfast overall with a nice view over the bosphorus but the coffee is not good, there is no dairy free or gluten free options and there is cheese everywhere even if the cooked eggs. No fruits either.

Excellent location, very safe, great neighbourhood in the heart of Cihangir area, great coffee shops and restaurants nearby, quiet location. I went on a solo trip and I'm a female in my 40's and I felt very safe. I recommend it also because it's quiet at night so you can actually rest well! The staff was super friendly and let me do an early check in. I would stay here again.

The wifi connection constantly requests your password. The breakfast had some traditional Turkish options but it wasn't great. I stayed in the economy double room and for me it was ok but it was a bit small if I was with another person.

breakfast was great, the morning staff, Mr. Naji, was friendly and very attentive he made the whole experience worth it to wake up at 8am to have breakfas., the rooms were clean when we arrived, they didn't have any weird smell like most hotels do. and the check in was super fast and not complicated at all, the area is calm the soundproofed windows worked like a charm, the staff in general were friendly and very respectful to our privacy. the housekeeping staff was also friendly and professional whenever we ran into them

we booked two rooms, one was a pretty small, where there was limited space to walk at the bottom of the bed, at one time the shower box was clogged in both of our rooms, but they addressed the issue swiftly so that was good. we kinda missed a charging cord and one of the mugs we got with us from home, but that could be a mistake. they didn't vaccume the carpet until we requested that, even tho we stayed for 16 days. all in all, these things are nothing compared to how much we enjoyed our stay there

The view from my room was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday. The staff, especially Mr. Fatih, were exceptional—always helpful, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Awesome location! Nice neighborhood, within walking distance to Taksim square and Istiklal St, but also reached Karaköy and Beyoğlu easily. We had an amazing view of the Bosphorus. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and with lots of variety, including traditional turkish food and tea ;) The staff was really friendly and helpful. If we’re ever back in Istanbul (hopefully we will) we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone for making our stay enjoyable!

We highly recommend Cihangir Hotel Bosphorus ❤️. It is positioned very close to Taksim square, but in a quiet area, away from traffic and noise. The rooms are very clean, they look exactly like in the pictures, the staff cleans daily, you have everything you need in the bathroom, minibar in the room, the hotel looks special, the staff at the reception very kind and elegant. Benefit from free outdoor parking. Breakfast ok, just enough. We took a room without a Bosphorus view specifically, but with a balcony. And the view was very nice even so ❤️. If you take rooms on the upper level (we stayed at 1), you get a great view, especially in the evening. We recommend 🤗. We leave some pictures. The room I got booked into is on the highest floor of the Cihangir Hotel. The view from the balcony is breathtakingly, spectacularly beautiful, romantic and serene - day and night, sunny or with sprinkles of rains - when contemplating on the Bosphorus. The comfortable "king-sized" bed is the best to rest your tired body. Breakfast is divine, yet, environmentally friendly. The hotel considerately offers the right size of buffet that has a good variety of European and American breakfast - just the right amount of food for the number of guests - less of food waste. Staff members in all divisions of the hotel are kind, informative and caring especially to solo (lone) women travelers. Their guests' safety and comfort sit at the heart of their service mind. I will come back again and again to stay at the Cihangir Hotel. Thank you so much for your services and support. I had a very fond memory.

Turkish coffee may be added to a wonderful buffet line. A more variety of fruits may be considered beyond melon, cantaloup or watermelon. I would recommend bananas which are customarily friendly to all. Optically, more selection of bigger cutleries will be ideal - knives, forks are small for the size of their plates. The restaurant on the top floor of the building or the space can be more promoted and used. It has a great potential. I would spend every evening there.

We reserved a room with a view over Bosphorus and the asian side of Istanbul, and it was spectacular! The room was big enough, with a comfortable bed and a generous terrace. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of foods every day. The bathroom was equiped with soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, in big, refillable recipients, and also with some other products.

I know that usually the coffee is not great in most hotels, but at least it tastes like coffee. Here, the coffee was like a coloured water, even the turkish tea was darker than the coffee. I don't ask to have choices (like espresso, capuccino, latte machiatto etc), but the least they can do is offer some decent coffee at breakfast.

The staff is simply amazing. Fatih in the frontdesk was so nice and helpful.Suleiman was very good...they went out of their way to accommodate us .The views from our balconies in 207 and 209 were breathtakingly beautiful.The rooms and the bathrooms are super clean and is real value for money. What stands apart- the warm people that I mentioned above make this place super special!

The approach to this hotel is far from satisfactory...you can't blame the hotel for this as it is not under their control!
