Location is just perfect, 100m from the Taksim street, and the staff is very friendly and helping. The room has a safe and cloth holders in the closet. The bath staff was provided. The view out of the room 2701 is huge over Bosporus and the city with bridges.

The room itself was pretty old, the bath tube pretty yellowed and with stains. The upper part of the bed at the wall had scratches and holes. Due to party outside and in neighbors' rooms it might be a bit loud for people who like easy nights. The terrasse is not used in winter, the pool was closed due to virus staff.

We weren’t informed entrance to hotel was through another hotel in a different street. Taxi driver couldn’t find it and dropped us off in a back street. We had luggage and no idea where to go. Door was locked. Staff were obliging and came to our rescue and upgraded our room (hate to think what original room was like). Main Lifts being repaired. Could only use very small 4 person lift. Sometimes had to wait a long time. Breakfast was deplorable with most guests not using tongs but their fingers to get food from buffet. No instructions were given about hotel facilities.

Location. And thankfully we were able to upgrade the room to Grand Star Hotel (same group hotel in the same building but nicer room and view) by paying EUR50.

Style star hotel isn't like a 4 star hotel. It's more like 2 or 3 star hotel, very run down (old furniture, old carpet with stains, there's even a hole on the wall, AC not cold). The room for Style Star was in the basement. The entry door to hotel was at the back alley, and you actually have to go to the receptionist of Grand Star Hotel to check in. Thankfully when we arrived, the staffs were very kind and they let us see the room first. That was when we asked for an upgrade to the Grand Star Hotel room, which is located at the main building at the front (not in the back building at basement). We paid EUR50 for the upgrade and they gave us quite nice room with view to the Bosphorus. Breakfast was not nice, there weren't much option for a 4 star hotel and the taste is very standard. During our 3 nights stay, I eat there only once, and my husband twice. It's better to just have breakfast outside the hotel. Only location is nice because it's very close to Taksim Square and many shops and restaurants.

They have three different hotels. When you book a room through Booking.com and arrive, they will show you a poorly maintained room and claim that this is what you booked. If you want to upgrade to a better room, they will charge you an additional 50 euros per night. I had booked a four-star hotel with a double deluxe room, but the room they presented was very different. They demanded 50 euros per night to change to a better room; otherwise, I would have to stay in that undesirable room, which had the LED light behind the door and was not visible, as well as being located opposite the bed. My experience with the receptionists was disappointing; I felt they were not trustworthy. They are Scammer.
