It is a lovely hotel of a pleasant size. The rooms are spacious, clean and practically furnished. The breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the large terrace with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus. The hotel is pleasantly located on a street where there is no car traffic, which makes it very quiet. A metro line is 5 minutes away. Nice neighbourhood with restaurants, a bar and a shisha/cocktail bar. Very nice and helpful staff.

We had a good sized room with a view towards the Bosphorus. The location was ideal for us.

While the hotel itself has a lift, people should be aware that there are steps to be negotiated to get to the hotel. The pool is in a strange situation. We didn't see anyone using it for the whole stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at Loop Hotel Bosphorus during our trip to Istanbul as a couple. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome – always smiling, exceptionally friendly, and truly helpful in every situation. Their warm hospitality really stood out and added a special touch to our stay. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. In just 5 minutes, you can walk to the lively Taksim Square, and in the other direction, you’re at the beautiful Galataport by the Bosphorus. Despite being so central, the hotel itself is in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood – the best of both worlds. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, but the real highlight was the breathtaking view from our balcony overlooking the Bosphorus. Watching the city lights reflect on the water in the evening was pure magic. There’s no doubt in our minds – when we come back to Istanbul, we’ll definitely be staying at Loop Hotel Bosphorus again! Highly recommended.

Amazing family run hotel! Had a great stay here for 4 nights where the rooms were immaculate with stunning views. The breakfast choices were amazing and left me full most of the day. Location is just round the corner from the main T1 tram line that takes you to all tourist areas. The rooftop pool was super refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. So many small touches make this hotel so sweet and personalised plus very helpful people. Will definitely be returning.

Cannot fault anything aside from it not being a suitable hotel for people who cannot do stairs.

The staff was so friendly and so helpful they couldn't be anymore attentive with anything that we needed. All were so welcoming and hospitable. THIS beautiful boutique hotel is situated in a lovely location just minutes from central places.. Just a quick taxi ride from the galata Tower and many more famous places to explore. The views from my room were stunning overlooking the bosphorus bridge.. I actually cried the first morning when I looked out of my window. The room I had was stunning and something I will always remember.. It's a very clean hotel, staff cleaning your room daily , view at breakfast was also amazing Recommended as a couple just wanting a cute getaway. Or even a family , panning to visit again this time with the children included , I was there for my 50th with my partner, and the whole experience was superb, I will definitely be going back to this lovely hotel....

Very nice little hotel. I have seen it rated as a five star, which it is definitely not. It is built in a converted residential building and the wear shows, but it is still rather charming. The staff was excellent, the breakfast very good.

OK, the location. On the map, it looks excellent, close to an interesting old neighborhood and walking distance to a very upscale shopping and dining complex. However, the hotel can only be reached by walking either up or down a long and not particularly well maintained stairway. While this was no more than an inconvenience to us, it would be disastrous for any one with limited mobility or indeed any one who was seriously out of shape. I do not remember seeing any references to this when booking. It really needs to be pointed out an in a way that cannot be missed. My 82 year old brother in law was traveling at the same time that we were, he would never have managed the steps.

We stayed in the penthouse suite and the room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The main highlight of the room was the amazing balcony with the most spectacular views of the Bosphorus. We spent a lot of time sitting outside watching the ships pass by. As someone who isn't too fond of the sun,the balcony was well situated where the balcony was warm but had some shade so you didn't have to be in direct sunlight. The breakfast was lovely. There were meat and fruit options in addition to cereal and hot food (omelette, pancakes, waffles, etc.) The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a slight issue with the jacuzzi and they came up quickly to help fix it. Very nice. Our stay was so good that we ended up extending it by another day just so we could continue to relax and enjoy the views.

The only issue with the hotel is steps leading up/down to it. There's not too many but enough to make it a little cumbersome with luggage. This isn't a huge issue as the views from the hotel and its proximity to the port more than make up for it. Just something for people to be aware of.

Clean, beautiful view, friendly and happy personnel. We like to walk and found that the location was very good with walking distance to both the old and new town.

Good breakfast, but with a lack of lactose-free and vegan options. However, the personnel kindly offered to go buy some vegan milk for one of the guests, which was a very nice and service-minded gesture. Some people complain about the stairs to the hotel. They are not that many and the whole city is located on hills, so eventually you will need to climb some stairs either way.

The hotel is very well located: you have easy access to public transportation, the area is safe for long walks on the nearby streets, it is very easy to get to the tourist districts of Istanbul, the view from the room is extraordinary (you can see the Bosphorus in all its splendor), quick access to restaurants with specialties and more, the port is close to the location. The staff is friendly, helpful and ready to provide support if needed. Mr. Kurban is very open and ready to provide support and make your stay at the hotel as pleasant as possible. And I could write more, but you can discover it yourself :)

I couldn't say there was anything I didn't like that could be mentioned.

We had a spacious family suite with a view of the Bosphorus and two bathrooms. These type of rooms are great when you travel as a family. The staff was friendly and helped to carry the luggage up and down the stairs to the street when we arrived and left. It is correct that the hotel is located in an alley with lots of stairs between two streets. So if you have problems walking, it is not the best place. Some people have complained about cats here. This is normal in Istanbul and you will find cats around most hotels. Bring a pair of ear plugs - that is enough to keep the sounds out from mosques and honking boats that may disturb you. The breakfast was simple but good. The hotel is perfectly located near public transport. Overall a very good stay.
