Perfect hotel that met all my needs. They even upgraded me to a huge executive suite which was a pleasant surprise. Had an awesome view overlooking the city streets below and the bosphorus straits in the distance. Location was excellent; an easy 10 min walk along flat ground to the Istanbul Congress centre and 3 mins to Taksim square, 5min to the taksim metro station, funicular station, and to Istiklal street for all day all night shopping. Lively surroundings and yet, felt very safe even at midnight. Room was cleaned everyday, amenities were all functioning well. Breakfast was an excellent spread on the rooftop with a view of the Bosphorus straits. Staff were courteous and helpful and even helped us book an airport taxi.

The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to istanbul ( taksim )

Perfect location! Within a walking distance you can reach feels like a half of the main attractions and a variety of places to eat out. I stayed with my mum and we enjoyed the swimming pool with sauna a lot. We were twice in the pool and there was no one except us (maybe because our stay was in off season)! I was afraid that breakfast would be a typical continental stuff but luckily there were a lot of Turkish specialties like sucuck, menemen, olives, tons of types of cheese, honey, and simit. If you are big fan of typical continental breakfast, you'll find options for you as well. I'd also like to highlight the quality of service. Every day we were taken care of by the manager Pelin who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay to enjoy Istanbul without any problems. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and can highly recommend it to others.

I am shocked that on my way out, the people at reception asked to le dé them my phone: they asked me to hand them my Booking App because “they needed to check my reservation number”, and instead, they wrote a positive review IN MY NAME without telling me. The hotel service was pretty decent, so I am appalled they did this, as if I were not going to find out…..I find it unacceptable that they are willing to cheat their clients for such a dumb reason. I was otherwise going to give them a good review…..

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with attention to every detail. The location was excellent – everything I needed was within easy reach, and the surroundings offered peace and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Especially Gülsah and Merve, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel so welcome. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more memorable. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic – varied, fresh, and delicious, with special attention to presentation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a combination of comfort, top-notch service, and a great location. I would definitely come back without hesitation!

The Guest Relations and how they follow up regularly to check on the stay, is the best thing that we loved about our stay, they helped us changing and upgrading the room immediately upon our first request, which was great and much appreciated!, Mrs. Zainab from the Guest Relations team is super attentive and helpful, Mrs. Merve the guest relation Manager was also checking on us personally on WhatsApp regularly, both have gave us a great feeling of hospitality. On the other hand, Breakfast was amazing with great view from the 9th floor, perfect variety and fresh pastries on daily basis, Mr. Atakan have taken good care of us every morning and always welcomed us with a smile. Location is great right beside Taksim Metro station and Taksim Square. Housekeeping was also very professional with water, coffee and tea left on our room’s door step in the days we didn’t request for room cleaning, which was a great gesture, that we rarely received in some other hotels.

- Standard Rooms are a bit dark in the evening with some light lamps making strange ticking sound, this was the reason we requested for room change, (upgrading the lighting sources will add a lot). - May be it is not an issue with the hotel, but with the area, Taksim area is not family friendly and some neighbor guests can be noisy in the evening, partying all night, which might affect your night sleep quality, again it is not an issue with the hotel, rather with Taksim area in general.

Location is nice and the property is clean and staff are pretty good. We had access to the executive lounge, the food and service there was also nice.

This is a norm in Istanbul I see that the room temperature is centralised and in April-May the A/C operates in winter mode which means the room temperature is 25 degrees Celsius inside the room. I had experienced the same in theRenaissance Polat in Istanbul which is a 5 star hotel. So this is something people should be aware of while booking. For Europeans, 25 degrees is peak summer 😅

The location of Point Hotel is a key to a perfect stay for a short or longer stay , next to airport buses and less then 2' walking from metro entrance with a magnificent view all the way to Asia part , overlooking Bosporus . Our triple room upon arrival was upgraded to a junior suite with an amazing view that made our stay memorable - very comfortable. Really relaxed although we stayed indoors little time during day time, due to the snow . Breakfast variety equal to a 5 stars and staff ready to assist with a friendly smile. The room was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend this property with the personal check in and assistance of the staff, especially Merve and the entire team at the lobby from the bell boys to receptionists.

Location was great reception and the team at the hotel were kind and helpful but to be honest I booked that Hotel in Istanbul expecting a true 5-star luxury experience, but honestly, it was far from that. The overall quality of the hotel simply doesn’t live up to what you would expect from a 5-star property the location is the best thing but what made things worse for me is that I needed to cancel my stay due to exceptional personal reasons during a really difficult time. Unfortunately, the lady at the reservation desk was extremely rude and unprofessional she doesn’t even try to understand or try to find a mutual solution definitely not the kind of treatment any guest should have to deal with, especially in a moment like that where I was forced to stay. That being said, I want to sincerely thank Zeynep and her manager, who were truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to make the rest of my stay as pleasant as possible. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine effort really made a difference, and they both absolutely deserve recognition Zeynep in particular deserves a raise for how she handled the situation.

It’s definitely not a true 5-star hotel. It’s decent, but if you’re looking for the luxury and premium experience that a real 5-star provides, you won’t find it here. The hotel is fine for a comfortable stay, but don’t expect the atmosphere, service, or attention to detail that comes with genuine 5-star hospitality.
