I’ve stayed at Swissotel Bosphorus a couple of times before for business, and this time I was happy to return for a few days of rest — and it was absolutely worth it. We had a room with access to the Executive Lounge, and breakfast with that incredible view of the Bosphorus was the perfect way to start the day. The interiors throughout the hotel — from the lobby to the rooms — are elegant and welcoming, with a sense of space that’s rare even in five-star hotels. Our room had so much natural light and such a stunning view that we could’ve easily spent the day just watching the ships glide through the strait. Service was impeccable throughout, and I really appreciated the late check-out they kindly arranged for me, as I was continuing my trip to another hotel and it made the transition so easy. A truly beautiful place — both in atmosphere and in attention to detail.

If I were to mention one small downside, it would be the breakfast at the Executive Lounge — the selection was the same each day, and after a week it did start to feel a bit repetitive. When I visited the main restaurant downstairs on previous trips, I remember the variety being more noticeable. Still, this is just a minor note in an otherwise excellent stay.

We had initially booked a 3 bedroom suite however upon check in, were thrilled to hear that we had been upgraded to the presidential suite. It was perfect, with three rooms, 3 full ensuite bathrooms and a guest wc, dining area, lounge and kitchenette. The views were spectacular. The Indian Restaurant Madhus is an absolute gem. Our server Lokman was fantastic and his recommendations were brilliant.

There was no room turndown at night. Although the 16 Roof rooftop bar and restaurant has spectacular views, it wasn't very inviting and the food was average. The service in the lobby lounge area was a bit lacking.

• Stunning views of the Bosphorus, especially from higher floors. • Excellent location, close to major attractions and shopping areas. • Spacious and well-maintained rooms with modern amenities.

• Room service response time was very long. • Despite requesting early check-in in advance, I had to wait until 2:10 PM without any gesture of hospitality, such as a complimentary drink or lounge access. Given my early morning arrival, this lack of consideration was disappointing. Additionally, no late check-out was offered to balance the experience.

Location

1.The sewage odor in the toilet was constant. 2.Onthe first day after we checked in there was an intrusion by some unknown lady who rung the bell and then opened the door. Only after I showed up by asking to go away she shut the door. 3. On the same day a guy called into our room to offer chocolate from the hotel. I didnt let him in and asked to leave. 4. There is a disco show in the park every evening. So, if you do not have earplugs the chance to have a good slip till they finish is almost zero.

The room view was amazing. The staff on the reception were so professional . The hygiene level was extra super.

1.In the main entrance there was a huge table blocking a white marmeral water fountain. I felt that you couldn't take the benefit of having such a piece of art in your hotel. 2. There wasn't anykind of marketing for the events that took place in the hotel.

The view was superb, the bed was very comfortable and the shower/bathroom was very good. We were half board and the restaurant was great, very nice food. Every member of staff, especially Bek on reception and Ivan in the restaurant, was wonderful. The hotel gym was probably the best one we have ever seen, fantastic!!

The pool was not open. We overlooked it from our room and it looked very inviting but we were told it was closed until May. If we had known that, we would have booked another hotel as the weather was lovely and we would have really enjoyed an afternoon by the pool; really disappointed. Also, guests are allowed to smoke in the outdoor part of the restaurant so you could have someone blowing their fag smoke all over your dinner!!

The loft room was exceptional, the view was amazing, the lobby was beautiful and the hotel staff we're top line. Big thanks to Yaprak in housekeeping management that helpt us send an item that was left by accident in our room by taxi to the airport. Top of the line excecution Yaprak! We are very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel and their loft room to anyone.

Our stay at Swissôtel The Bosphorus in Istanbul was outstanding. The panoramic views of the Bosphorus were absolutely breathtaking — especially at sunrise and sunset. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. The food was a highlight: from the extensive breakfast buffet to elegant dinners on the terrace, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Service throughout the hotel was warm, professional, and truly five-star. The location is perfect — close to major attractions yet peaceful and scenic. The spa, pool, and other facilities were top-notch. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. Highly recommended. ★★★★★

Beautiful pool. Wide choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Lovely view of the Bosphorus from our room and the lobby. The rooftop bar was also lovely at sunset.

It’s is not very easy to walk to places from the property (especially in the heat of summer) Also, both nights we were kept awake until the early hours of the morning due to the music being played from somewhere in the hotel. We spoke to reception about this and they said they would turn the bass down but it was still very loud. Something to be aware of if you need a peaceful sleep.

Housekeeping was beyond amazing. Cleaning was exceptional, and staff/ service at the Lobby Cafe were beyond amazing!!

Despite the politeness and “above and beyond” treatment of housekeeping staff, the reception staff were a bit stubborn, they were quickly and stubbornly saying “No” to my concerns instead of trying to think of a possible solution, and that did not make me feel good during my 2 weeks stay. And the breakfast at the hotel - the food was good, however they are ending it at 10:30 am, even on the weekend. I believe it is very early for the people on vacation. At least they could do 11 am.
