The location, the view from our room was incredible. The roof top restaurant has the best views of the Bosphorus. Even the downstairs bar has fantastic views. It is walking distance to Taksim Swuare, easy access to public transport.

We felt that the staff were not overly friendly but they did help us when asked.

This hotel was great! The views of the Bosphorus was great waking up to. A short walk to Taksim square and the train. The staff outdid themselves with the pursuit of excellent customer service. Everything was so clean.

The hotel was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping was excellent. The buffet breakfast was extensive and varied from day to day. The location was good. A short walk up to Taksim Square to pick up public transport. A steep walk downhill to Kabataş to pick up the tram to Sultanahmet or ferries across the Bosphorus or out to the Princes Islands. The staff were all very helpful. There are handy small supermarkets very close by.

The pool is lovely but is surrounded by tall buildings. In the summer it only gets the sun from 11am to 2pm. My plans of sightseeing until early afternoon and then getting some sun by the pool were not to be. This was my only disappointment with the hotel.

Everything was perfect for me - specially the view that just kept me sitting on the balcony for hours. 🙂 The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable and in good location. The staff was really friendly and attentive - they always tried to make sure I was enjoying my stay in Istanbul. Reception staff also gave good recommendations - what places to visit and where to eat. Thank you! They have TV volume levels limited in rooms so that nobody bothers other quests with noise. But as I noted to them that I have damaged hearing they we’re very helpful to adjust my TV volume accordingly. Hope to visit you again soon! 😇

I really would have loved to use the pool but it was closed due to rather cold weather. Also the rooftop restaurant was closed because they are remodeling it as I understood. Next time I hope I can also use these two. The hotel is rather expensive.

This wasn't the first time for me in Opera Hotel, the location, rooms, food, facilities & the last not least the staff there is very friendly. I would like to thank Ms. Buket Özkan, i booked 3 rooms by Booking & she helped me in the rooms was next to each with perfect services. Many thanks for the hard tasks man Mr. Ayoub for his services & advices, he answered & helped us for many things either aeries, location & many logistics things. Special thanks for Mr. Yuksel Cici, when i had a medical issue with my wife & her sister, he helped me like you helping your close friend not as a part of his job.

Our room had a balcony and view of the Bosphorus which was quite special. The room had everything promised. The breakfast buffet was great every taste was catered for. The spa was clean and well equipt and as a guest was free to use. The front of house staff went above and beyond to ensure we found a taxi to the airport as the Police had closed the area surrounding the hotel on 1st May.

Unfortunately the Spa treatments were extremely overpriced. I would have loved a treatment but I wasn't prepared to haggle a good price. You go to the spa to relax.

Pool was bigger than I anticipated and such a great way to cool down after lots of sightseeing. Get a rate with breaky as it's a really good spread and so convenient Gym is big with a Pilates reformer. The airport transfer they arranged was competitively priced, convenient and comfortable. Triple room was really spacious. Make sure to check out the Bosphorus views from the rooftop.

The partial sea view room was the side of a building and if you stood in the far corner and leaned over you could see the water. The smoking - granted this isn't a hotel only issue and only an issue for those of us who don't smoke. But all outdoor spaces are smoking spaces. The staff would routinely come out to the pool area to smoke. The terrace for breaky (with incredible views) means you are surrounded by smokers.

Top Stay in Istanbul – 5 Stars for a 4-Star Hotel! Had an awesome time at this hotel – clean rooms, perfect location, and service that actually makes you feel like a VIP. Now let’s talk about the real star: Ms. Maya. Honestly, I’m not sure if she’s staff or secretly running the whole city! Friendly, super helpful, and always smiling – she made everything easier (and way more fun). If every hotel had a Maya, travel would be stress-free. Definitely coming back – and if Maya’s still there, even better!
