The location, the view from our room was incredible. The roof top restaurant has the best views of the Bosphorus. Even the downstairs bar has fantastic views. It is walking distance to Taksim Swuare, easy access to public transport.

We felt that the staff were not overly friendly but they did help us when asked.

Rooms are large and comfy. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was amazing!! Highly recommend the food. We had two lovely meals in the hotel. Lovely and modern, would recommend.

Drinks are expensive, the rooftop is closed for renovation (which we did know in advance but worth noting), and the pool, while very nice, is overlooked on all sides by other buildings so feels a bit enclosed.

This hotel was great! The views of the Bosphorus was great waking up to. A short walk to Taksim square and the train. The staff outdid themselves with the pursuit of excellent customer service. Everything was so clean.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel! I stayed at this hotel and it was truly an amazing experience. The place is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The rooms were tidy and relaxing, and the whole atmosphere felt peaceful. What I loved the most was the kindness and professionalism of the staff – they treated us so well, always smiling and ready to help. Their hospitality really made me feel at home. 🥐 Breakfast was delicious and full of variety! I had breakfast at the hotel and it was so tasty. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. I also ordered food during my stay, and it was absolutely wonderful – clean, flavorful, and beautifully served. 🌿 A big thank you to the whole team. The bosphorus was from the room was magical and made this trip extra special even though its my fifth visit to Istanbul ,location was perfect, just 10 min walk from istiklal, turkish breakfast service to the room was extremely nice and enjoyable, the gym was big and well equipped, the staff were very helpful, I really want to thank everyone working on this hotel for making my stay very special, will definitely be staying here on my next trip to istanbul.

Nothing, jut bare in mind if you have someone old with you in your trip (as I had my father with me) he wont be able to walk to istiklal as the road was like a climb, but that was no problem we took a 3 min taksi to istiklal and it was about 2.5 dollars. But for youth its an easy walk

The hotel is meticulously clean in every corner, and to our surprise, we were even upgraded to a better room than the one we booked with a Bosphorus view. A very special thank you goes to Murad at the reception—when we lost some belongings in a taxi, he went above and beyond to help us recover them. His kindness and professionalism really made a difference in our stay. The breakfast is exceptional—always fresh, beautifully presented, and remarkably unique. It’s the first hotel where I never got bored of breakfast, as every dish has its own distinct taste. The outdoor pool is a rare gem in Istanbul, clean and relaxing, and the location is perfect—close to everything yet on a calm, quiet street where we never had to worry about noise. The rooms are spacious, well air-conditioned, and extremely comfortable. The bed felt like home, and waking up to the panoramic Bosphorus view with the sound of birds was like living in a dream. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the water from our room was breathtaking and unforgettable. This was the 15th hotel I’ve stayed in Istanbul, and without a doubt, it will always be my go-to hotel for future trips. In short, Opera Hotel Bosphorus exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the occasional sewage smell in the lobby and between some rooms—but this seems to be a common issue in many Istanbul hotels and did not affect our overall amazing stay.

The location is strategic, very near to Taksim square but out of the traffic in it, also a walking distance to Galata port a very nice area. Public transportation is accessible We appreciated the free upgrade, the room has a fantastic corner view to the Bosphorus Maya was nice enough to offer us a complimentary coffee capsules even that as she mentioned was not included with the room The offered us a complimentary fruits (apricot & apple) that was so nice of them

T’as per the staff, the coffee capsules are not included in all room types Water is limited to one bottle per day, i found this a bit cheap! Specially that water is cheap in turkey The toilet bidet is so hard to use The hotel reception is a bit small for a 4 stars hotel

Everything was perfect for me - specially the view that just kept me sitting on the balcony for hours. 🙂 The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable and in good location. The staff was really friendly and attentive - they always tried to make sure I was enjoying my stay in Istanbul. Reception staff also gave good recommendations - what places to visit and where to eat. Thank you! They have TV volume levels limited in rooms so that nobody bothers other quests with noise. But as I noted to them that I have damaged hearing they we’re very helpful to adjust my TV volume accordingly. Hope to visit you again soon! 😇

I really would have loved to use the pool but it was closed due to rather cold weather. Also the rooftop restaurant was closed because they are remodeling it as I understood. Next time I hope I can also use these two. The hotel is rather expensive.

I had a wonderful experience at the Opera Bosphorus Hotel! The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and everything was arranged perfectly to make our stay enjoyable. The manager was incredibly helpful and kind—she assisted us with everything we needed, and her warm attitude really made a difference. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is excellent—just a short distance from downtown and the Istiklal/Taksim area, which made exploring Istanbul very convenient.
