Stayed here for 5 nights and had a good experience overall. The location is excellent - very close to Taksim Square and the metro, which made getting around Istanbul really convenient. Room was clean and comfortable, though nothing fancy. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The area can be quite busy and noisy during the day, but that's expected in this part of the city. Would stay here again for the location and reasonable price. Good value for exploring Istanbul. The seaview room exceeded all my expectations. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the Marmara Sea and Bosphorus every morning was absolutely magical. The panoramic view stretching across the water with Istanbul's beautiful skyline was stunning, especially during sunset. The room was spacious, clean, and perfectly positioned to enjoy these magnificent views. The location offers the perfect balance - you get all the beauty of the waterfront without any noise, so it's wonderfully peaceful for a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is ideal - close to restaurants and attractions but quiet enough to truly relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Stayed for 2 nights and overall had a good experience. The location near Taksim Square is very convenient for exploring the city, though be aware there are quite a few slopes in the area - might be challenging for elderly guests. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and very clean, which was a pleasant surprise. For the price point, it's hard to find an apartment this size in such a central location. Everything was well-maintained and the staff were polite and responsive. Would recommend for younger travelers who don't mind walking uphill and want good value accommodation in the heart of Istanbul.

I stayed at Etiz Residences for a few days and it was a solid choice. The staff were polite and helpful when I had questions. The location is the main selling point – it's very close to Taksim Square but on a quieter side street, which was nice. My room was clean and the small kitchenette was useful for the mornings. As some others have mentioned, the hotel is on a steep hill. It wasn't an issue for me, but it's something to keep in mind if you have difficulty with hills or have heavy luggage. Overall, a good, no-fuss place to stay if you're looking for a practical base to explore the city from. It was good value for the location.

No breakfast at the Residence, but plenty of places around

The location of this Residence is not for people who have mobility issues, only if a taxi is used. This is a long staircase to go if one wants to walk to Taksim square.

We absolutley loved the location, it was very close to Taksim square and Istiklal street so it was easy to walk there when we wanted. The owner showed us how to get there without walking up a million stairs which was kind! It is also even closer to the ferries which you can take to go to the Asian side. The place was neat, in a quiet street, the staff were amazing.

This is just being very picky as overall is was great. Althought the place was neat, the floor was still a little dirty and there wasn't any cutlery or utencils to use for the kitchen. However, you can just text the staff and they will bring any missing items you need. Also the location is a little hard to taxis to get to. I always recommend either getting them to call the number provided on your keys or give them the name of the street Omer Avni Emrtek Sokak rather than the name "Etiz Residence" as the gps will not take you to the correct location.

What an amazing 4-night stay! The highlight was definitely the incredible sea view from my room - I could see the Bosphorus and it was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is perfectly positioned in Taksim with easy access to all the main attractions. Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect during my visit. Waking up to those gorgeous water views every morning made this trip unforgettable. I loved the hotel. The reception was excellent.I had a small apartment with an air-conditioned room.And a small living room with a small kitchen and a refrigerator And also a smart TV. I loved everything.The hotel is close to Taksim and also close to buses and metro. The host's treatment was excellent. He gave me an iron and printed me plane tickets. Also the young man was very friendly.I recommend this hotel because it is comfortable and clean.I will come back again Thank you for your hospitality.

Stayed 3 nights in apartment 502 had a good experience. The partial sea view from the room was lovely, especially in the mornings. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Location was convenient and the staff were friendly during check-in. The kitchenette was handy for breakfast and the bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. Only minor issue was that the shower pressure could have been stronger, but nothing major. Good value for money overall and would recommend for a short city break.
