Another amazing stay at Barut Hemara. It was my second visit and was just as good as my first. The staff are great, very attentive and keen for you to enjoy your holiday, the facilities are brilliant (we particularly liked the garden gazebos and the indoor jacuzzi) and the restaurants are exceptional. I would absolutely come back for a third stay.

Everything was great (particularly the breakfast omelettes freshly made as you watched). The only improvement is that (bar the patissiere) the coffee isn't great. It would be good if the coffee was freshly made rather than using vending machines. However, that is a minor niggle as the food and drinks are of a very, very high quality and every meal we had was absolutely delicious

The grounds are gorgeous, so clean and tidy and the staff are impeccable. The food options are very good (coming from a self confessed foodie) - we booked a couple of the a la carte restaurants but they all looked beautiful.

The only downside is that people seem to reserve their beds with towels, which means it’s limited some days on where you can find space. As a two it wasn’t bad but could be tricky as a group / family.

We stayed at the hotel in January, and I can sum it up in one word—excellent! Everything was fast, accurate and polite from the reception desk to the staff of restaurant. First of all, I would like to give a huge thanks to Mr. Vural at Guest Relations. He was so much attentive to details and was always ready to help with all our questions. It was important for us because we traveled with a kid (2years old). It was great to see, how high level of professionalism in the hotel. A big thank you to the entire restaurant team especially Ms Sedez and to Mr. Memet for organizing two amazing birthday celebrations! Also, thanks to Yunus for the beautiful cocktails at the lobby bar. The food was outstanding( a giant variety of everything from breakfast time to dinner) and sure, the pastries, which were paired with excellent coffee and cakes. The rooms and the entire hotel grounds were perfect and clearly designed with great attention to detail and love( a green territory with lots of rare trees and fantastic eco decorations) I’m giving a 10/10 rating for all services and the hotel’s design!

This was my 4th time at Barut Hemera in 2 yrs. Great: - location and moderate hotel size - pleasant beach and pool facilities - green territory - eco-concept aiming at reduced plastic waste - friendly and efficient support at the reception and guest relations: many thanks for the upgrade and for the special offers - very good food offering at the buffet

Suggested improvement: - remove the rocks from the sea close to the beach - heat larger outdoor pools end of season and off season - as many guests are recurring Barut customers, a periodic refreshment of the à la carte menus would be beneficial - review wine lists, enhance wine quality offered by the à la carte restaurants

The resort is AMAZING. The staff is one of the friendliest you'll find - they'll come up to you and make sure you have everything you need. The layout is great, the activities are super fun. Was my second time staying here. recommended!

it's a bit expensive compared to other resorts that are a bit larger in size. would love it if they introduced small pop-up eateries across the resort. at the moment, food options seem limited for a long stay. value for money could be better

We had an amazing stay at Barut Hemera! The food was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable, and the location is perfect — you can enjoy relaxing walks along the seafront promenade right from the hotel. We stayed as a big group with kids, and the hotel turned out to be an ideal place for a family gathering. There’s everything you need for a great family holiday — beautiful pools, kids' activities, and well-thought-out infrastructure that makes traveling with children easy and enjoyable. A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kind and professional help when we forgot some of our daughter’s toys in the room. We are especially grateful to Ümmü from the front office management team for the care and support in helping us get them back. It meant a lot to us and to our little one! Highly recommend Barut Hemera for anyone traveling with family — we would love to come back again!

My family and I enjoyed a delightful stay. The serene ambiance, coupled with a warm and respectful staff, created a welcoming atmosphere. The resort's team, embodying Maldives-level hospitality, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The highlight undoubtedly was the outstanding food—fresh, diverse, and with a special nod to their thoughtful provision of baby food. Christmas and New Year festivities added a festive touch, complete with generous gifts. The poolside activities and fireplace were enjoyable. In summary, our family is immensely pleased with our stay, and we look forward to returning in the future. The positive experience, combined with reasonable pricing, makes this resort a standout choice. Kudos to the team for making our holiday truly special.

The open hallways posed a chilly challenge, since it is all-season hotel will be goot to have closed or be air-conditioned for better and more convinient movements especially for babies. Also, while the poolside activities and fireplace were enjoyable, a more diverse range of activities, and also the heated pool was still cold for me the indoor and outdoor ones, I believe it can be better in terms of increasing the temperature.

The staff were utterly incredible, Omer especially around the pool. All staff everywhere just went out of their way to help and so unbelievable friendly. It’s literally the perfect set up for a family holiday with the most beautifully laid out space for restaurants, patisserie, grounds and comfortable beds at the pool and beach. The buffet was amazing as were the 2 a la carte restaurants we visited, the beachside food at lunch was also delicious with fresh bbq food every day. The egg & omelette bar was a massive hit with us and our little one too. We loved how eco friendly the hotel was in so many ways and the water bottles were a very handy addition to our holiday & now at home too! We are at the Italian a few lunchtimes too with delicious pizzas and pasta which made a change from a buffet. The adult pool was peaceful and quiet and a fair bit away from any kids which we saw a lot of people enjoying. Must say the quality of the drinks were great, lovely cocktails, good quality known brands, fresh fruit juices galore too.

A bit more information provided at the reception would be helpful about the hotel, where everything is, timings of things and where to eat and when etc….all guests had to rely on each other to pass information on. It took us 15 mins to just try find the room. Some days we never had a bed around the pool, towels were down at 7am and not occupied, people drop the towels off at the crack of dawn & leave or go for breakfast, I wasn’t willing to wake at 6am to get a sunbed but it did get frustrating, especially with kids when you needed to be somewhere to try see them or be accessible.

The hotel has a really nice atmosphere, the interior design has a Scandinavian flavor which I loved. Beside the nice interior, the pool areas are also elegant and stylish. The exceptional garden area also worth mentioning which I think is unique in the area. Little 'green islands' to chill on the way to the beach, which is also very nice. The coast is sandy but in the sea there are rocks to watch out. There was a good selection of good quality food for every meal, although we often skipped the lunch and had some snacks instead. The staff is very friendly, I enjoyed the sport activities and the games. Thank you! :)

Cannot really mention too much here, I was generally very satisfied with the hotel and the services. I realized in some cases English is lower prio here compared to German, but that is just a minor thing as well.
