Location of the hotel is very good, super close to the mall (should you need anything) or ideal for a nice stroll by the marina. Hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean, water, tea & coffee are available in the room, bar not included in the price (you can get plenty drinks outside by the pools or at the restaurants). We found the hotel beach rather small, considering the size of the hotel, but it was sufficient and not crowded when we visited. Sunbeds were available, towels also. We would appreciate a little more option for snacks (between breakfast and lunch), you could get nuts or ice cream, not much more. Afternoon bakery was very nice! Meal options were generous, we wondered what was being done with the leftover food, as there was quite a lot of it honestly.

The majority of guests were Russian and acted like they owned the place (maybe they did, we didn't check). We didn't like seeing how the staff was treated by them (not all, of course). One case, where the lifeguard on duty was asked to inflate the floaties for their kid was quite inappropriate - as their focus should be the pool. We understand the staff is probably told to do whatever to satisfy client's needs, but sometimes it was just too much, let them preserve some kind of dignity, please.

Perfect breakfast

Be careful when being billed. Happened, that a "accomodation fee" in amount 1000AED appeared on the bill. When asked, what that is, new bill was issued. Also pay for everything immediatelly, never put anything on your room bill. Happened twice, that 100AED and 50AED gratuity was put to consumation, that was never signed. Otherwise great hotel.

Breakfast over crowded. Little space. Finishings on my floor were not good. Rundown down especially the wood of the entrance door. Curtains not working properly. I had to change room and floor because mine was, without prior information, put under renovation. Quality of food at the Terra Mare is mideium low. Probably good for mass family groups on organized holidays with tour operators, more interested in quantity that quality. But I found it below expectations. Reception always crowded. Not enough staff. Slow Operations.

The hotel is sooo busy,breakfast is a challenge to find a table from 9 to 10.Many kids pools but they keep using the pool for adults.There’s a very dangerous floor area around one of the big pools,in 2 hours I saw 5 people failing down.The floor with holes is between the pool bars.Beautiful design but dangerous.There’s many ways to cover them nicely and make them safe.

We booked two rooms for 1 night. The hotel in itself, interior, and facilities are outstanding. In addition, it's very rare for a hotel to have professional and well-presented harp and piano musicians who would play for almost 24 hours. On top of that, I was truly pleased on how accommodating the receptionist was. He made sure that we would be placed as per our requests. All the staff were very friendly and were successful in making us feel that they were also ready to be of help. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was good.

What stopped me from rating this a 10 was the deposit. They charged me with 800aed for the two rooms we booked. Upon checking out, I was promised that the fee, which was put on hold in my credit card, would be returned within 2-3 working days. However, it has been a week, and the money has not been returned. The hotel does even bothered sending email or SMS updating me about the deposit. I sent them message via booking.com twice, and was just told that they would get back to me. It has been days, and have not heard anything from them yet. I hope that the department responsible in holding-returning the deposit fee is quick in doing the necessary actions regarding this matter. 800aed is no joke. And not getting any update from them is truly frustrating.

Amazing experience. This is by far our greatest stay in Abu Dhabi up to date. Everything about this hotel is overwhelming. Placed in a really good area, close to the Marina Mall, is very easy to find. Considering its height, you can see it from far away, especially by night. The staff is amazing, always smilling, always ready to help, very polite, educated and attentive, from A to Z. The food is amazing. Lots of varriety and tasty. We enjoyed our half-board option a lot. The whole design of the hotel is high class, with high quality materials and neat design, and the ocean theme from the lobby, makes you feel like being in a movie. The elevators are a dream come true, especially the glass ones. Never have to wait for them, but more than that... the view is breathtaking. We had a room at the 32nd floor with Corniche view... breathtaking. The room was pretty big, with really high ceiling, with a huge bed, amazing mattresses and pillows, extremely comfortable. We even got an anniversary cake from the manager which was a nice surprise for my wife, and I want to thank the team for that. The bathrooms with an amazing design and well equiped, pretty much all the accesories you might need. The beach is really nice with soft sand and blue water. And they also have water sports available. Because we've traveled in February with two small kids (3 and 6) the best thing that could happen to us was the heated pool. Outside was like 23 degrees but the water felt like 30... this exceeded our expectations, and I decided to give my first 10 on Booking to this hotel, because I could feel they put a lot of price on making your experience top notch. From the special scent all over the hotel, to the small details that makes the difference. We will come back again for sure, and also recommend it to all of our friends and family.

More gluten and dairy free options would have been amazing. Other than that, a well deserved 10 from us, for making our vacation a dream.

the best is the private beach of the hotel! and the concierge Aibek so polite and nice to respond of all our request, he is very professional and friendly! very accomodating also the front man Ronald with his smile!

some receptionist are unfriendly and unpolite with their english not easy to understand for everybody because different accent they didnt repeat and looks like upper you! remind the rooms near the lift are noisy with noise of the lift go up and down also in the night!

One of the true highlights of this resort is the outdoor swimming pools. They are spacious, temperature-controlled, and even include a separate adults-only pool, allowing you to relax in complete peace while enjoying the sun and water. The elevators are equally impressive, offering stunning views over the bay as you head to your floor. A truly fantastic experience. The rooms are also outstanding: very spacious, with a bathroom that is a real highlight. Featuring a separate bathtub, a large walk-in shower, and plenty of space.

The only point that could have been smoother was the booking process via Booking.com. When filtering for one adult with one child, I booked the same room twice, expecting this to result in two adults with two children. However, the system only registered two adults with one child. It required several messages with the hotel and even a call with Booking.com to try and resolve this. In the end, everything was kindly and efficiently arranged at the reception desk, but it did cause some stress beforehand.
