I really liked the lobby and staff, as well as the breakfast. Climate control and hot shower were very good. Location was excellent, especially for us taking the HopOn Big Bus Tour just across the street, and Bayside Marketplace, and they had a shuttle to the cruise ship port which we appreciated.

Hotel is looking pretty old and worn with a faint bad smell in the hallways. Bathroom was tiny with nowhere to put hygiene kit. Also, the Holiday Inn hotel signs were down (for refurbishing) and no temporary signs up so it was hard to find when we were looking on that block to see the sign; same front and back.

After several unfortunate incidents leading up to our cruise on explorer Dec 5 2024. Delayed flight ,late baggage claim at the airport etc. I arrived at the cruise terminal to find out I forgot my phone and charger at the hotel. In a panic we rushed back to the hotel and went to the front desk to enquire about the forgotten phone, immediately the front desk had it right there and put my mind at ease. Thanks so much to the front desk and the cleaning team who found and turned over the phone. The kind, gracious, and professional staff put my mind at ease and wished us “to go in peace” I about cried! Thank you so much! You saved our trip!

We were there for my husband’s birthday and the 4 th of July festivities. Everyone went above and beyond to make it special. Gave us a room with a perfect view without having asked. The breakfast service was exceptional by staff that has been there over 20 years. Special kudos to our server Ramona. And a big thank you to Mayling the sales coordinator/manager. Old school hospitality. So refreshing. The building is 74 years old and has so much character. She was a gem in her day and is still beautiful. If walls could talk what tells they would tell. Location was excellent

I was super disappointed that booking didn’t tell Me When I booked that only 2 of us will be allow breakfast and I will have to pay for the other one , if not I will book somewhere else to book. Been using booking and this never happen to me, really embarrassing when you go for breakfats as a family of 3 and only 2 cans have breakfast and you have to pay for the other . Really disappointed . I ei Think twice now when booking with you, and the lady at the hotel tols me that o my happwns to people that book with booking.

The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The morning breakfast was wonderful and the location is incredibly convenient to the port, Bayside park and the Miami Heat arena.

The hotel itself is showing her age here and there. I noticed occasional spots on hallway ceilings and around air vents that looked like it might have been a little moldy and the walls had kind of a dingy look like they've been painted over several times. But all in all it doesn't keep me from going back when I'm in the area.

We visited primarily to see a game at the Kaseya centre so this location was perfect. It was also close to a large eating and entertainment quarter so our evening was fantastic.

I had read a few reviews about the hotel being tired and whilst in the bedroom, it could do with a refurb. But coming from the UK the holiday inn brand appears different and I would rate this the same as an holiday inn express experience in the UK

We like that it is across the street from Bayside market place. Also it’s very close to the Port. The staff are always very Nice.

They do not have complementary coffee. We didn’t have time to sit for Breakfast. So we decided to just have a cup of coffee. Imagine or surprise when the lady at the Bar handed my Husband the check for 2 small cups of coffee $8.50. I couldn’t believe it. We were Shocked. Another Guest was going to get a cup of coffee. We told him the price. He said never mind . He said for that price he would walk across the street for his Coffee.

I arrive early at 12 and my room was ready. Having traveled from Grenada to barbados and on to Miami ity a smalI child i was extremely tired. It was the highlight of my stay to get in my room and rest. The children eat policy us a bonus. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful snd knowledgeable.

The hotel should have a swimming pool is handy when staying more than one night.

Excellent location to overnight for a cruise or for a longer stay. Right in the heart of the action for everything you will want to do, be it shopping or dining, all within walking distance. Bayside Market Place is opposite the hotel, the number one place to hang out in downtown Miami. It is expensive but it is the perfect downtown location in Miami.

They are in the process of changing the safety boxes in the rooms and we did not have any in our room.

the location was right across from bayside marketplace with lots to do. shops, bars and restaurants..also they had a shuttle for 8$ to the cruise port up the street.. 10/10 location

homeless ppeople laying directly beside front door. kinda me uneasy carrying money n also very awkward as we're vacationing trying to have fun. depressing. 1 person laying on the ground on each side of the door. I think it was some sort of begging scam. not hotels fault obvi
