I loved this hotel. It was located near everything we were looking to do and right across the street from Navy Pier. The room was very nice and the room service from the restaurant downstairs was delicious.

Only two things I didn't care for. No free wifi at this price point. They have free coffee every morning but no decaf so I had to go elsewhere for my morning coffee which was a little inconvenient. I probably could have gotten decaf coffee from the restaurant but we went out to breakfast every morning instead of eating at the hotel.

I couldn't use my other card to pay for the stay. I had to cancel a night, that I still was charged for. My card was 15 dollars short of the limit needed to pay deposit and stay. He said he could not use the other card for the additional night. So we canceled it. Due to policy had still paid almost 200 for a room I couldn't keep. We had to check out there and wait to check in somewhere else for our second night. I could not pay another 400 for room....would have had to pay deposit again plus room in order to stay another night. On line it said you could use another card for payment. Funny how they figured out how to still get the total amount in the end but couldn't figure it out enough for us to keep the second night to begin with.

We adored the setting on the side of Lake Michigan, the decor was lovely.

When I booked this property I booked 3 nights including breakfast. It wasn’t explained to us that we were only allowed to spend $50 between 3 on breakfast! an omelet was $18 so breakfast for 3 on our first morning came to over $117! Coffee, Tea and juices were also charged for so that’s how it mounted up. If you’re booking to include breakfast it should include breakfast! There also wasn’t any robes even though advertised as having them and we had to ask for a coffee machine in our room then daily for coffee to go in it.

Absolutely loved the location and the staff was very friendly.

The breakfast voucher only covered a buffet that really wasn't all that terrific. I've gotten free at other hotels. In the beginning the guy had said it was $30 per person for buffet found out it was only $15 which didn't matter we had paid extra for vouchers. You basically got scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage links, oatmeal, French toast / pancakes and cereal. The dining staff was super friendly though.

Location, location, location! Amazing view from the 24th floor!

The service is not up to a W - breakfast was ok but expensive and service was really slow and you need to ask twice for things… They could do way better on facilities and amenities. The hotel is nice but that’s about it. Our room - a Fab Room lakefront view on the 24 floor - has a great view but you had all the noise from the elevators, even until late at night The room was comfortable for 4 but several basic things in any hotel of this type were missing: robes, a full stocked frigobar; a coffee machine and internet! Charging for internet in a hotel like this it’s a joke. Appreciated the Davine’s toiletries, though. The indoor poor is small and there is no policy on kids thus was terrible noisy…

Beautiful moody colored rooms. Loved the back strip of lighting by the bed and the fun chandelier by the window. The city view was beautiful. We loved that a pool was on property and the observation deck from pool level was perfect for seeing the fireworks 🎇 at Navy Pier. Staff was so helpful and kind. Beautiful place to stay while in Chicago. Just a short walk from everything.

Our room had a bit of noticable wear on walls, flooring and furniture, but still functional.

Rooms fabulous, got upgraded through booking.com to "exceptional room" on 32nd floor. Views of the pier stunning! Hotel lovely, nice and close to get around everywhere. Bar area really nice. Staff very welcoming and let us split our bill as we were friends travelling together and wanted to keep things easy. Beds sooo comfy, bottled water left every morning which is such a nice touch and don't get that everywhere. Wish we'd had time to use the pool etc but so much to see and do in Chicago!

No coffee machine in room but you could get free coffee every morning in the lobby which was a nice touch.

The location was great.

There was a wedding and 2 elevators were reserved for the wedding and 2 were not in service so the 15 min wait for an elevator was less than pleasant. Room service...menu said creole "cream" sauce but some one forgot that part or the menu changed and was not noted on the ordering menu. Other than that it was good.

The city view wasn't what I expected. When I arrived after 3p, my room wasn't available & instead of a complimentary upgrade, they wanted to charge me like $200-ish for a lake view. The valet service was ok but when I would call down (text actually) the msg said your car will be ready in 5 mins, I'd go downstairs & end up waiting longer, only to find the valet workers just sitting in the office & if I had not asked for car by walking over to their little office, I'd still be waiting. Also providing a microwave in the room would have been nice.

I love the location and atmosphere and the people in the area Are very nice

I was told that I would not have to pay anything on site just to get there and still have to pay two hundred $200 extra on site after I already paid then they instantly take the money out.That day, but you have to wait days before you get it back should have a better policy.Because they don't have to wait on their money at the time of service.So why should we have to wait on our money getting it back 🤬
