The room was spacious, clean, and very, very, comfortable. The person working the rooftop bar, and the person working the lobby bar, were both very professional, courteous, wonderful people.

My only nitpick would be that the mattresses are on top of a platform that juts out from the end of the mattress. This platform is a hard piece of wood that I don't think you usually see in other hotels and I certainly didn't expect to be there. When I was gathering all my items for checkout, I rounded the corner of the bed and I whacked my shin pretty good against this under-board, leaving a cut and a bruise. I have to think I'm not the first one to do that. I would recommend they bring in some saws and cut those platforms back about a foot or so. They don't seem to serve any functional purpose and IMO are just going to get more people needlessly hurt.

We had several people staying there for a wedding and the staff and lobby bartender were excellent.

We had several people go up to the Skybar and were treated not very friendly by the bartender on that Friday night, October 11th 2024. We ordered food and drinks and felt like we were a burden. When we asked about turning on the fire pit because it was so cold, she said it didn’t work and needed to be maintenanced…Saturday night we just hung out at the lobby bar where we had an excellent time.

I liked having a laundry room since we were there for sports competition and the convenience to the sporting center.

Front desk staff was not very good. I asked for towels to be replaced and they did not convey that to housekeeping staff. We asked what time our room would be cleaned and was told noon but they showed up at 9:30 and were told we would be out at that time. Communication seems lacking at reception.

Location was fantastic, walking distance to food, coffee, shopping! Both bars/restaurants onsite, top notch! Staff was extremely friendly, helpful! Our keys stopped working, went to the front, she came up with us, let us in our rooms, very personal service and immediately fixed our issues! Convenience area in the lobby had everything you could need on a trip, and/or you may have forgotten. Facilites were nice, clean! Parking was great! Room was a good size and extremely clean!

No daily housekeeping, had to ask for clean towels, no one retrieves trash or wet towels, was not crazy about that at all. However, the staff is very accommodating when asked for anything or help!

The hotel advertises a rooftop bar, but it was closed during my stay. I could understand closing on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or even the day after. But I felt that by the 27th, it should have been open for those like me who paid a rate without being told the amenity would not be available.

Everything was excellent! The staff was friendly, the facilities were nice and clean as well as the rooms. They looked exactly like the pictures, which isn't always the case with hotels. I also loved the fact that there was a bar, restaurant, and rooftop skylounge that had excellent food and drinks! Also, the location is ideal for anyone visiting Winthrop University since it's literally one street over! 10 out of 10!

We didn't get a chance to have breakfast due to our schedule. We did get to enjoy food at 354 Skybar as well as The Loom. Absolutely delicious!!

Even though we didn't get to have the breakfast, having to pay $15 caught me off guard. Every other place I have ever stayed, breakfast has always been included with the price of the room.

A few little things the hotel needs to buff out and it'll be amazing. The staff is so nice and friendly, the whole place is super nice. I would absolutely stay again! I hope they keep improving as they are open longer and get adjusted

Cold water in 2 different rooms, refrigerator never got cold, too many screaming kids in the bar area at night, room wouldn't cool below 72*

Breakfast was top notch for selection, quality and presentation. Coffee could be stronger, but otherwise, the ambience in the lobby cafe was excellent and the overall surroundings were attractive. The Fitness Center on the top floor is well-lit and spacious but lacks equipment and basic amenities like towels, mats and refrigerated water---add these and it would be perfect!

The drive to the property was a bit dodgy, we were not sure we were in the right place, as several surrounding buildings are still under construction and the area lacks general landscaping. I'm sure once the area is built out it will be much less lonely-looking. Also, our suite seemed sparsely furnished, and lacked artwork and better lighting is needed in dark corners. Small additional improvements would make a world of difference! :)

Nice hotel. The rooms are excellent, comfy bed , multiple lighting choices and some creature comforts like USB outlets everywhere and a rolling table that can be used for meals or a second desk. The indoor pool is the highlight for me. Staff couldn't have been more hospitable or friendly, can't remember his name but had a great conversation with the bartender during breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking is a bit odd. There is a lot of construction around the hotel but that will eventually be finished and once you're in the hotel it isn't noticable
