The property was formidably clean and neat. The staff was willing to assist and help. They displayed an immense patience answering every question in a practical and pragmatic way. The resolved issues and problems. The staff was remarkably effective and punctual. Every sudden and unplanned necessity was nicely approached , treated and solved. Cleaning ladies, breakfast personnel , front desk staff, doormen and bellboys showed kindness and effectiveness. The hotel taxi service and drivers were highly professionals.. super accurate and punctuals. They showed a great knowledge about the city and its history ( without taking the place of a tourist guide) and gave wiser advises.

I think nothing else should be required to have a wonderful stay. I was very satisfied and pleased in every sense.

Fantastic suite on 10th floor which was big, comfortable and quiet. Great gym and sauna facilities as well. Breakfast was a medium sized buffet with eggs to choose from, staff all spoke English and were very helpful.

Location is not great, we were advised to take taxis anywhere for our own safety (even if it was a 10 minute walk away). Not many good bars or restaurants nearby. I would advise tourists to stay in the historic centre or mariscal sucre if they want to walk to bars / restaurants and feel safer at night

Breakfast had mostly the same items but there was some variation from day to day in the hot offerings. It was very good and the coffee too. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and home-tasting scrambled eggs. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, with a safe, nice big tv, and plenty of room to move around. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly, helpful and super nice. The location of the hotel is very good. We didn't try the spa but we heard it's wonderful. The hotel was also very quiet.

There is variation from room to room. We had three different ones, two with AC one not, although it really isn't necessary since you can open the windows to get some cooler air and circulation. In at least one room there wasn't enough light in the bathroom although the bathroom itself was very nice, and a couple of rooms only had a mirror in the bathroom, none in the room itself.

- I really enjoyed the gym and the wellness space at the top floor of the hotel. Perfect place for a workout and spa afterwards. Possibility to do cold/hot therapy. Really good! - I loved the refreshing fruit water at the reception

- I find it absurd and annoying that we had to pay an extra price to have vegetable milk options (almond milk) I never had to pay a special price in any other hotel of any other country I visited. Especially not nice if the breakfast is included… - A little noisy at night and early morning..

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped modern hotel with all the mod cons you expect from an international chain. Served us very well and front desk super helpful with taxis, left luggage, transfers and tours. Lovely spa and pool on the top floor. Room service was good and excellent wi-fi. Highly recommend. Breakfast could do with a little attention for this standard of hotel.

The massage I booked was rushed and not as described. There was no communication between the front desk and the spa.

A quiet place in the middle of busy and noisy city. Good quality facilities including very nice gym, spa and restaurant. The breakfast was excellent, served from 4am which is convenient when your day activities start early or you have early flight to catch. Beds were super comfortable and the staff spoke good English and was polite and helpful. We have stayed there twice for one night, in different rooms and liked twin room better than king deluxe as it was bigger.

All was good. Nothing I could think of.

bryan the manager was excellent we had an issue with our booking from booking.com side and i was extremely frustrated over it but bryan took care and looked after us he was brilliant i really appreciated his help. the rest of the staff are all very very nice at this hotel which is why we stayed before and after our galapagos trip

there is nothing we didn’t like about the property it was brilliant issue with the booking but that was due to booking . com side not hotel fault

The room was excellent, spacious and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed three days ahead of our tour group, we requested to stay in the same room so we don’t have to move around. The front desk accommodated us right away, we just need to pay a small upgrade fee. Andrea at the hotel was very proactive, she arrange to have a pick up for us at the airport, so it was stress free for us landing late at night to a new city.

The neighborhood around the hotel was a little sketchy. It was kind of empty with very few people, most shops are closed, so we were not sure about walking out at night to get dinner. We used taxis to get to restaurants. The taxi fare was just few dollars round trip. Better to be safe than sorry.

The hotel has everything what is expected from a 5* hotel. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, very good restaurant with amazing breakfast (lots to choose from, including hot meal and it is served from 4am!). The gym and spa facilities are well equipped and have a great view over the city. The location is relatively quiet and the soundproofing is good. We loved our stay there and came back again after our 2-days trip.

Pool was freezing and no real service for drinks around the pool. Actually there did seem to be one or two staff around but seemed busy not doing an awful lot and never once asked if we would like a drink
