Everything was amazing due to every member of the staff. They gave me an upgrade to a very nice seafront room. The Ramses self-service and the beach restaurant was good but I didn’t try Mezzaluna and Silk. All the services were great! Starting from taxi drivers (the boss Ibrahim was awesome), shuttles, diving centre and a wide choice of excursions to do to end the staying full of memories. There is a nice terrace where you can pass some good time after dinner and see nice shows. They even have a small shopping center where you can find perfumery, souvenirs, clothes and jewellery.

We liked the hotels location. Food and everything. Concierge team ( Mr Hasni, Ahmed Shawki, Mohammed Abdallah, Muhammed Bashair, Mr Essam, Mr. Ikrami) was very helpful. They have figured out every request as much as they can help. Other than weather situations. Make sure you pay a visit to Scorpion Diving Center. And set yourself a diving trip. Ras Muhammed was perfect place. These people are also very friendly. BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET UR UNDERWATER CAMERA & EQUIPMENT unless you want to pay 100+ $ for photos & Videos. Also ask for safari trip from Concierge team. They set us a great trip. We done the safari almost exclusive. Thanks to them. But as far as i heard the dinner in the dessert is not so good. So you may want to opt-out of it. Be sure that you make all the trips and excursions with the concierge team so they can make a better price deal for you. Most of the personel was friendly. If you come here you must visit the perfume shop on the second floor. And say hi to Mohamed (owner of the essence shop) Before finished my review make sure u ask for room upgrade as long as they have availability they will help you to get a good room

When you went to this hotel there is a seperate villas on section 8 or building no 8. Make sure you never leave your wife, mother, daughter alone in there because there is a personel called YAHYA. One predator there does not mind to touch your beloved ones. As harassment way. I am not gonna put much details here. But, He is 1 lucky guy because i did not break his face. When i learned about this issue he was not around.

Staff made it all worthwhile, I'd like to give 5 stars to Mohammad Mustafa, chief of kitchen, for making sure everything was running smoothly, greeting guests, and being such a nice guy. The hotel is a bit tired, especially the rooms and bathrooms. But the pool and everything else is just perfect. Rooms are a bit tight for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), and bigger rooms such as the suits are too expensive compared. Overall, it lived up to our expectations, and we are definitely coming back.

A steam iron and an iron table was available in the wardrobe.

Few shadowed places at the sea and also at the pool. Weak air conditioning in the main restaurant. Beverages at the beach and pool bars as per written in the paper delivered by the reception are available till sunset which is 7:30 p.m. while they actually close at 5 p.m. And also the diving center closes at 5 p.m. given the fact that the whether was so hot and some people may prefer to use such facilities after 5 p.m. The kids area is small and the open part is not properly shadowed in such hot weather.

The resort is amazing, great restaurants and bars, great pools and activities , amazing beach with snorkeling options , comfortable rooms with amazing sea view. highly recommend!

The staff in the lobby desk was not very welcoming and not very helpful. specifically Ahmed and the Russian girl (I think Tanya was her name) were not very welcoming and helpful. one guy (I think Samir is his name )was very helpful and got us our room in a minute after Ahmed failed to do that.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Everything, literally every single thing starting from the gentlemen working hard to make us all pleased to the place and the food. I'm honestly one of the pickiest people you probably might ever encounter and came to this hotel a long time ago, and the experience that I had from this hotel was so worth the second visit. Would I recommend this hotel to others to come take their vacation here? Definitely! From all the enthusiastic energy that I had after coming here, it's definitely worth it. If there's someone who's a picky foody, like me, I would definitely also recommend this place because the food there is just unbelievable! Also, the parties, the vibes, the sea, the staff, the community, everything was incredible! Finally I want to thank Mr. Ahmad in the reception for his help and welcoming 🙏🏿 😊

Pool, access to snorkeling, good main buffet, staff helpfulness and decor

Lack of clear signposted veggie food, bathroom could have been cleaner. Also, when buffet area was full staff directed to other areas which they told us had the same buffet. This was absolutely not the case. The buffet was much smaller with fewer options. As vegetarians the main buffet provided more options. The smaller buffet put a sour taste in the experience especially as it is costly going full board. Also note that they advertise many restaurants but you can only really access them for free if you are staying more than 7 nights.

To sum it up everything!!! Room was with a best view in the whole resort,and i am not kidding. Beds were quite comfortable. Everything was super clean( pool flor for example got cleaned every night).Food was ammaising to my suprise,we allways found lots of somethings for our taste,and we did not miss pork at all(which was my main concern),coral reef is beautifull. They have 2beautifull outside play grounds for the kids and programm they offer for animation of kids is wounderfull,but my kids could not get enough of see and pool. There is a lot of program to animate adults also,like beach volleyball,morning exsercises,foam party ,gym,spa etc. Water sports of course are in place and my husband even took and finished diving course up to 18m. I myself went to beauty salon to change my hair and went out with a big smile on my face... all the staff,but really all the staff is so cordial and nice. Next time in Sharm i know where will i go...grand Rotana!!!

It's not that i didn't like it ,but i would enjoy pool more if it was warmer. I'm guessing when u go to gran Rotana from july to september its hot from the hot temperaturs but in november it could use some heating.

What I really liked about this property is how Mr.Azmy Shalaby the General Manager handled my frustration while checking in, but immediately Mr. Ibrahim, Mr. Hegazy in the front desk helped me with my requests, then followed by the GM visiting me and changed my negative experience into a very positive one, he upgraded my stay to a different rooms that I really liked, all the staff were very helpful and willing to support any request, I personally liked the beach, it’s very quite and relaxing place, the gym was great and equipped with major machines, the palms restaurant on the beach has great variety of food and the staff were very friendly.
