Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Perfect in Every Way! Our stay was truly exceptional. The room was impeccably clean, with top-notch hygiene maintained throughout the hotel. Room service was prompt, professional, and always delivered with a friendly attitude. The morning brunch was a delight—fresh, flavorful, and offered a generous variety that suited every taste. The overall service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of. What truly elevated the experience was the hotel’s prime location—right in front of the corniche, offering a stunning sea view, and just a short walk from the iconic fountain. Waking up to such a picturesque scene each morning was simply unforgettable. The swimming pool was also amazing—clean, relaxing, and a great place to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, excellent service, and a scenic location. We’ll definitely return!

Beautiful hotel , quiet , easy walk to the sea , great breakfast selection and a really comfortable room

The shower and bathroom were a bit dated with a shower curtain. Didn’t realise we had to pay for roof top access to the cafe / bistro - I have never been to a hotel as a guest where I have to pay to use the cafe This hotel isn’t cheap and I would say not worth the price overall

The staff were all very friendly & helpful, especially Aslam (Bell Captain), who went out of his way to help us organise a tour of the city & a boat tour. Aslam is an exceptional ambassador for the hotel. He made us feel very welcome & he takes really good care of the guests. The breakfast was excellent too - lots of choices. Bedrooms were a very good size. The lounge on the 3rd floor was very good. Lovely selection of light refreshments & snacks.

We took a half-board package. The dinner is amazing, has lots of choices and is very delicious (credit to the Chef on duty). the breakfast is good, a usual breakfast you can find at any other Hotel. I recommend you try their dinner, you will not disappointed.

The outdoor swimming pool is stunning with the lifeguards always onsite to watch the kids. We ordered a cappuccino and ice latte on the poolside. The cappuccino seems like the 3 in 1 instant coffee taste. I appreciate a good taste of coffee and I feel a bit frustrated about it.

Everything! Only stayed one night but honestly start to finish it was excellent, all the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the acrual hotel is 10/10, all the facilities you can ask for, amazing room and bed. Breakfast was amazing also, definitely will be staying again but for longer to get the full experience. Thank you to everyone.

Some construction was going on outer premises. Room needs to have all complementaries like food basket, etc. Exhaust fan was not working in the toilet.

At check in there was a confusion of booking I had with breakfast included for all however I have been told for child there is no buffet for child Room rent is same for both rooms This was sorted after discussion however very unpleasant when you travel and checkin

Booked a king room and then they told me that there were none available and gave me twin beds instead. Also, during checkout i was surprised with a charge on my room that to “tea garden” that i didnt even go to or know of until i was told. There is clear randomness in operations

From a very friendly and helpful check-in experience to the comfortable room and the delicious breakfast, my experience at the Intercontinental was a very positive one.

The dinner buffet was very expensive, and the cost was not clearly advertised.

Location is very good, right on cornishe road in Hamra area.. Staff is very helpful, on check-in, I was upgraded to sea view room which was enjoyed by the kids. Hotel is very clean and green though dated. It scores well on sustainability by providing refillable body wash and shampoo bottles instead of disposable ones.

Room doors should have peep hole for security reasons and covered waste bins should be provided in toilets.
