I recently stayed at Desert Rose Resort in Hurghada, and overall, I had a pleasant stay – but I want to give an honest and helpful review for future guests. The Superior, Premium, and Deluxe rooms are amazing: clean, modern, renovated, and truly 5-star quality. Very comfortable and well-maintained. • The resort grounds are beautiful, with large pools, lush gardens, and direct access to a lovely beach. • The main buffet restaurant has a wide variety of delicious, fresh food. • There are three à la carte restaurants – French, Mexican, and Lebanese – with great service and tasty food. • Staff are excellent everywhere, especially Mina at the Palm Restaurant, and the teams in the Mexican and Lebanese and French restaurants – very friendly and professional. • Great overall ambiance, perfect for a relaxing vacation

The Standard rooms and suites are very disappointing: old, not renovated, not clean, and far below even a 3-star level. • The difference in quality between room types is huge – it’s like staying at two completely different hotels depending on your room category.

Amazing resort with a lot of fun activities during day and night - our favorites were the volleyball and padel courts, the waterpark and the night shows at the winter garden. Cool crossfit box and yoga deck in beach front!

The mini bar in our room was really noisy. The commercial team doing the marketing/selling of extra charge activities was really pushy even if you are using “do not disturb” orange towels.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. We had a premium room which was really clean and new. The superior rooms are also ok but not as clean and new as the premium rooms. We traveled with our son 1 year old and enjoyed the beach. The beach was perfect for him for playing in the water as there are no waves. Special thanks to Melad the restaurant manager and his team. They have been very welcoming and helping us with all our requests. The food and service have been excellent.

The sand at the beach could be more clean. We always asked someone to clean the area around our benches to make sure our son doesnt eat any waste or cigarettes. Furthermore there could be more ways at the beach to be able to move with the stroller or wheel chair. The people always booked the benches early in the morning even if they didnt show up until 11/12 so it was often hard to find an area to sit at the beach. Make sure to bring water shoes as there are shells hurting in the water.

- Excellent Beach/Lagoon, perhaps one amongst the best in Hurghada - PADI certified SCUBA DIVING CENTRE on site - The Quite Pool is a nice place to chill - Cooperative Staff at all restaurants and bars - Vacation Planners help you plan your Vacation upon arrival. Quite an unique feature - Evening Programs are mesmerizing especially the Mexican singers

- WiFi signal is available at open areas only. For the price of the resort, it should be available free of cost, everywhere in the property! - My Pool View Room had a problem of water leak near the commode

The hotel is amazing on all levels From the moment we arrived the level of hospitality is great Mr. Helmy the vacation planner made our stay an unforgettable one he welcomed us upon our arrival briefing us about everything in the resort He planned everything for us from restaurant bookings to handling any query that pop up from our side The beach and the lagoon were beautiful and restaurants and food were lovely Definitely wont be our last visit

Well, mostly everything, great resort, good food with variety, really beautiful beach from the Hotel, excellent staff, Samar was helpful with any eventual problem we might have and even did let us make check out a bit after. Really worth it.

Nothing special, standard rooms might need a refresh, but you will pass most time in resort not in rooms, even so were good enough. And a bit of people trying to sell activities in the beach, but we'll, nothings perfect. Overall is a really good resort worth the money.

Best holiday ever, I can't wait to book our next vacation to the Desert Rose Resort. Any photo can not justify the beauty of this place, the luscious, green landscape is breathtaking with arched breezeways, Bougainvillea flowers come in a variety of colors - pink, purple, orange, yellow, white, magenta -, date-palm-lined thoroughfares, cacti, olive trees, fig-trees, flowers, and 3 shimmering blue pools. There is a snorkel-able house-coral-reef with the wonders of the Red Sea, many species are represented here, but the most frequently spotted on the reef are surgeonfish, bullethead parrotfish etc. The protected house-lagoon is surrounded by a 1-kilometer sandy beach, providing a safe environment for children and non-swimmers too. Service is top-notch from the front desk to housekeeping ( thanks to Mostafa Ali :) ). The staff offers impeccable, welcoming, and genuine service, everyone appears knowledgeable and personable and seems to find joy in their work. All meals at this resort were incredible and always fresh. At the main Palm Restaurant, you can choose Arabic-, European-, Asian-, and American-tasting food, fruits, and cakes as well as a fusion option with selections from each. The chefs are highly skilled and put out a wide range of delicious and eye-pleasing dishes. The highlight of our stay at Desert Rose was my daughter's romantic birthday dinner at Il Delfino Restaurant. Having the birthday dinner under a private tent on the beach, while adoring the magnificent views, watching the sun changing from orange-yellow to flamboyant pink and the shades of the sea was a perfect start to the celebration. I can not say enough thanks to the manager and the staff of Il Delfino, their helpful, kind, loving attitude and the truly extraordinary seafood, the beautifully decorated birthday cake, and the 'Happy Birthday' song both in English and Arabic made our experience otherworldly.

Friendly staff, including bartenders, top-level service, daily housekeeping, clean pools and the entire territory. The administration worries about your satisfaction and really does a lot for this - they get into your situation, make compromises and exceptions for their guests. We are very, very satisfied and grateful for their care! Our flight was delayed for 14 hours and we were forced to come back to the hotel for the day, administration provide to us all facilities (of course without the room) and we spent lovely time in pleasent conditions there while waiting the flight - pool, towels, food and bevereges, luggege keeping. Thank you for this!!! The food is excellent - chicken, beef, fish, grilled shrimps, national dishes, many desserts, fruits, vegetables, wine and delicious coffee, 3 free restoraunts. Wonderful coral reef on the beach of the hotel with a sandy bottom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Desert Rose Resort in Hurghada, Egypt, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist, setting the tone for a memorable experience. The resort's pristine cleanliness left a lasting impression on me. Everywhere I went, from the lobby to the dining areas and my room, everything was impeccably maintained. The attention to detail showcased the management's commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests. A special note of appreciation goes to Mr Emad Himdan, Mr. Mohamed Saad, Mr. Sherif Abdelmoneim and Mr. Samuel Youssef for their extraordinary patience and assistance in resolving a reservation issue. Their calming demeanor and genuine care put me at ease, turning a potential hiccup into a smooth experience. Speaking of the dining experience, I cannot praise the food quality enough! The buffet spread was extensive, and the a la carte options were equally impressive. Kudos to the talented chefs who consistently delivered top-notch cuisine. One aspect that truly set this resort apart was the warm and attentive guest relations team, specially, Ms. Lucia Iannuzzi. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. A heartfelt thank you must also be extended to the restaurants manager, Mr. Milad, and his exceptional team. Their professionalism and dedication were evident in every interaction. They took the time to ensure each guest's dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and their seamless service and warm atmosphere in the dining areas were simply outstanding. Additionally, I must express my gratitude to Mr. Haitham Ghonaim, Mostafa Mohamed, and Mohamed Gamal from the Mexican restaurant for their attentive and courteous service. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Desert Rose staff is extraordinary - very professional and friendly, we've never encountered such nice but at the same so great organised people before. Congrats to hotel managers for having everything so well structured and perfectly managed, you take care for literally everything! eg. there is phone app available with all the essentials on restaurants, bars, menus, entertainment, beach and pool acticities etc. Big >thank you< to all chefs, waiters, barmans, gentlemen cleaning the room, lifeguards, bodyguards, gardeners, entertainment staff and receptionists (please forgive if I missed someone). Also aqua center guys, Casanova and his owner were making our stay more interesting;) Wide choice of very tasty food, aesthetically served; each day different dinner eg. far east, middle east, international, BBQ etc.; in addition 4 a'la carte restaurants with lovely atmosphere. What absolutely distinguishes the hotel is beautifull huge garden; gardeners working very hard made an absolute floral art there. The surrounding is extremely clean and pampered in every aspect. For evenings there are multiple bars available, all of them with nice spirit, beatifully designed, lighted and with great music. We had really great time in Desert Rose and we would strongly recommend the place for everyone who would like to have wonderful holiday.
