Cons: - the people at the reception did not know any information about the transport; bearing in mind that this hotel is outside the city, this was vital. As you arrive at the airport, board the C6 bus, but DO NOT pay. Ask them to give you a 10-trip Buono card for the bus. A single trip costs 4.5 euros/person. The card costs 8.2 euros/person, so a trip will cost less than 1 euro/person. It's a big scam if you don't get a 10-trip card. - the furniture in the room was proportional to the price paid (a bit worn, a bit minimalist).

We booked Ibis Budget but were housed in Ibis next door. Very good accommodation and staff very helpful. Good parking disabled space very accessible. This hotel is outside central Alicante...Santa Pola/airport side. Right on sea front but this is not accessible as train line runs along and is fenced off. Good for short stay. Costs about 13.5 euros to get taxi into Alicante centre. Reception staff will book it for you. Very good buffet breakfast for 9.50 euros. Would recommend for short stay.

Outside central Alicante but otherwise very good. Grill open from 7.30 pm good meal for under 15 euros.

The distance wasn't bad at all. Right opposite the hotel has the bustop where one can join bus to town centre or back to the airport. Hence, for me, it was the location .

The WiFi was poor, at least my own stay. Because I stayed at the budget part of the hotel shld not stop me from using my accessible le wife inside the red ibis restaurant. They sold toothbrush for €1.. WTH! The elevator was scary looking. It stopped working at some point, or maybe they were doing something on it, I had to use the stairs 3times. And they allowed pets in the hotel?? I saw a guest coming out with their dog 🐕

Clean room, with a small shower cabin. We only stayed for one night because we had an early flight to catch, it was perfect for it. We arrived to Alicante in the morning, the hotel have luggage storage in the main building (right next to the budget hotel), and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is quite far from the center and the last bus leaves from the city at 21:25 so you might need to take a taxi. I wouldn’t recommend it if you are on a holiday in Alicante, but good for an early/late night flight as it is only 10 minutes away from the airport by bus C6 which stops in front of the hotel.

The location was good if you don't mind a 10 minute bus journey into the centre. Bed was very comfortable, the view in the morning was nice also ( sunrise ) staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and fit for purpose. Budget is a great way to describe this place, if you're looking for a neat simple place just to sleep, this is fine.

Could do with redecorating, few stains on the walls. The window shutter was broken but could easily be fixed. Slight strange drain smell that occurred every so often. But after all it was a cheap stay.

Staff friendly and helpful able to speak English. Good breakfast. Parking available .

The mattress was very uncomfortable and needed replacing. This caused my sciatica to come back, and i was in a lot of pain. Room very small and deceiving from pictures. There wasn't enough hanging space for clothes to be hung, a mere 4 hangers on the wall. There was no safe.for passports, which meant we had to take them everywhere with us. The photos showing the beach are deceiving as you have to travel to get to it as it is fenced off.

We decided to stay here for Semana Santa and found our accommodations to be clean and comfortable. We were treated with excellent service and weren't far from the Alicante city center. We ended up renting a bike and would recommend a rental of some kind for addeded freedom, though there's a bus stop in front of the hotel and you can walk all the way on the sidewalk if the weather permits. Check out La Palmeral Park if you get the chance! I highly recommend this hotel for its affordability and location.

The room was clean, warm and comfortable.

The transport links were difficult. The C6 bus, which runs between the airport and the city, has a convenient stop opposite the hotel but they won’t take you into the city. From the information on the bus company’s website I didn’t get that impression and it seemingly didn’t get lost in translation; there was a Spanish couple staying at the hotel who also thought the same as me. So it was a 45 minute walk into the city centre each day instead.

Ibis budget hotel and ibis was a brilliant place good friendly service staff excellent definitely use again and tell family and friends at home.

Bus in to Alicante only every 45 minutes. Self service machine was very unpredictable MANY times it failed to deliver drinks and snacks. Meals in ibis hotel brilliant good prices €2 for a lovely cup of tea ✅✅✅

Friendly helpful staff and easy check in and quick to help ring taxi for me, breakfast good selection and healthy as i dont eat bakery and bread

No dble rooms left had two singles pushed together im 6ft and was very small and uncomfy as no padded topper so kept falling through centre and edge of single bed seams hard in legs when turning over but they did check to see if any and none avail
