Hostal Jume was fantastic! Wonderful in every respect, from the friendly welcome when checking in, to the the cheerful and friendly staff whenever assistance was required. The hotel is bright and cheerful, and beautifully appointed. My booking included breakfast. There was a wide choice of items, and the breakfast was delicious! The hotel could not have been more ideally situated. A fifteen/twenty minute stroll from the bus station in a very quiet area, yet right in the centre; close to the fabulous fish market and other great places to eat. It is also five minutes away from the promenade along the port. The hotel is a real gem, and I unreservedly recommend it!...

Great location, quiet outside and only a very short walk from the shops, restaurants, harbour, etc. Staff were very friendly. We didn't do breakfast but heard it was great. There is a lift from the street level to help with heavy cases, so leave those by the entrance door before heaving upstairs to reception. Room was great, air con too, bathroom new, clean and tidy. Bed was good and quite firm.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room, then again we stayed in a hotel in the UK recently that had them but we never used them! So perhaps it's just a mind thing! You can get tea and coffee for 1 euro (honesty box) near reception.

The bike facilities are excellent, the hostel is clean and good value, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks and a nice coffee machine. The location is fantastic for the Volta a Menorca cycling event. Great that they have put mini fridges in the rooms now too.

My room was smaller than ones I've had before and smaller than my friends' rooms. Not a huge problem though. The breakfast room was extremely busy on Saturday morning, it was difficult to get food and coffee in time to get to the start of our cycling event. In fairness, they did put on an extra coffee jug out on Sunday but it wasn't busy then.

I loved everything about this gem of a place. Super clean, light and bright fresh decor. All staff from reception to cleaning staff were friendly, relaxed and very helpful. Location was perfect for us as we were visiting a relative who lives 10 minutes walk away on the front at Mahon port but it’s also a stone’s throw from the centre of the shopping area and diagonally opposite the wonderful local produce market, cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was beautifully presented as a buffet and in a lovely fresh spacious area.

Everything was fine considering the price. There’s no outside space but there are a few communal areas nicely set up for buying snacks or making your own hot drinks.

Great location next to the large central market in the upper town. Walked directly into the old town, but also near access (stairs) to waterfront which also has access to free elevator adjacent to market (which used to be a cloister). The hotel has easy check-in, and terrific garage space which is available to reserve ahead of time (12 euros per night). We enjoyed the light buffet breakfast with everything one would need for (10 euros per person, per morning). Hot water kettle access in reception area is handy (we carry our own tea and instant coffee) but can also pay one euro for tea of coffee pod for Krups machine. I would stay here again as I don't need to be in the heart of the old town. This was a quiet few steps away from the action.

Great location, very close to the centre of town. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious apartment with two good sized bedrooms, one large toilet/shower room and comfortable beds. Continental breakfast with good selection of food. Building in good condition with modern decor throughout. Underground car park was very useful, although at additional charge.

No major problems, although underground car park only holds a few cars (so book early). You will need to reverse out onto the narrow street unless you have a very small car and can do a three point turn within the garage.

If you like economy, function, location, hospitality, convenience, great design - well thought out, cohesive, fun and happy, Hostal Jume is your accommodation while in Mahon. From first contact with staff Hostal Jume was friendly, accommodating and easy. I stayed a few nights with my bike - they have the perfect set up for storage and access. I will be back! There is no reason to search for any other hotel! Thank you Hostal Jume!

Good location with an easy short walk into town. Friendly and helpful staff and the place is quite modern and has a nice feel to it, a bit beach house like. Very clean. The breakfast was good and I was most impressed with the gluten free options, including a GF croissant which was delicious; just allow 5 minutes for them to prepare it for you. There is a free car park an easy and flat five minute walk away, although it could be pot luck to get a space.

The rooms are quite small and I struggled to moderate the temperature. Some rooms close to the stairway might be a little noisy.

This was the 4th time we have stayed here - perfect location in Mahon - clean and comfortable with lovely staff - great value for money- if you a re looking for a base to explore, I couldn't recommend more highly

Nothing really- one very small negative was that the air-conditioning was quite noisy but while it may have been a bit noisy it was very effective
