The location is excellent! The staff were wonderful! Everyone was so helpful and professional. Housekeeping was on top of everything. I like the little snacks/water placed in my room along with the welcome letter. That was a nice touch and I feel valued.

I didn’t find a “Do Not Disturb” sign to place on the door. Housekeeping knocked on our door 2 out of three days while we were in the room. The elevator was down 2 out of the 3 days we were there. I did like that they repainted the elevator door to black.

I appreciated the service upon my arrival with the receptionist, doorman, and welcome drink. The bed, pillows, and linens were super comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. The walk in shower, bathrobe and slippers were just lovely after a long day. The hairdryer was of good quality and the kettle, tea, and cookies in the room was such a nice touch as were the complimentary water and the passed chocolates in the evening. The hotel is located right on Plaza Catalunya just steps from the escalator from the station. As a solo traveler with a lot of luggage, this was very convenient especially to catch an early morning train. The decor of this boutique hotel was beautiful and classic with its cream, black and gold.

I loved everything about my stay except the slow draining bathroom sink.

We stayed in the 3Bedroom Loft with our adult daughter and son which was fabulous! We were able to check in early which was a huge advantage since we took an overnight flight from the US. The place had original charm with updated bathrooms and amenities. The furniture was classical modern. The bathrooms had robes and slippers. The lighting was great too! The rooms were large enough to have your suitcases spread open. The first day we were given a generous welcome plate of cookies/chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine. It was delicious! The next day was my husband’s birthday. We were surprised with another platter of cookies and chocolates and champagne! I’m guessing they must have noticed his birthday from his passport. We really appreciated that thoughtful gesture! The location was in a central location and right at a train station. Upon checking out, they kept our luggage for us so we could have lunch first.

More coffee in the rooms would have been great.

The location of the hotel in Catalunya Plaza is outstanding. Close to public transport links, including the bus to Park Guell just across the road, metros, and the Aerobus across the Plaza.. We had a balcony, so we could people watch and listen to the music from the piano across the road whenever we wanted while in our room,or simply shut it out. We walked La Rambla easily down to the Old Port,and there's many shops and eateries close by. When we had an early start, we requested a takeaway breakfast the day before to collect at reception early in the morning. They did forget, but quickly arranged it in time.

Only cold water at the hand basin, and the shower takes 5 mins for the hot water to warm up.

great location directly at Plaza Catalunya (right at the centre of all the action, bus/metro/train right outside of hotel). They have excellent bar/library/relaxation area on the 1st floor (with free cava, nibbles) to wait for connections/rest between walking sightseeing etc. The bar man excellent fellow (can't remember name, but he was from Cuba). Walking distance to all the usual tourist sights (and metro station right outside hotel for the further away ones). Staff friendly and speak good english (not always a given in Spain)

The hotel location is fantastic! And it is close to the public transport to key tourist destinations. The room is clean and well equipped, and the beds and sofa bed were comfy. The staff were friendly and responded quickly when asked. We will probably book again for the location and facilities.

The hotel security seemed a bit lax. We encountered a pickpocket in the hotel lift on the day when we arrived, and the hotel could not catch the suspects. Thankfully nothing was lost. The room next to us was also under renovation. We felt the security was compromised. We also had 3 persons in the room but were only given 2 sleeping pillows.

Location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Facilities (eg bathrooms) were modern. Beds were very comfortable. Provided coffee and tea and a lovely welcome bottle of wine and chocolates. The apartments are spacious and have a lot of character. Overall it was an enjoyable stay

The floors were a bit dirty (or maybe that comes with original tiles/fixtures). When we arrived there were workmen in the apartment. The lounge room heater was so noisy we had to switch it off. We rented 2 apartments, a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom. Unfortunately the 3 bedroom apartment faced the Placa de Catalunya and we were kept awake by the piano playing throughout the early hours of the morning.

The location was incredible!! From the Airport you can take the Aerobús straight to Placa Catalunya and the hotel is located right on the corner. You’re also walking distance to the Gothic quarters and right at the top of Las Ramblas. Also doesn’t hurt to have a Zara next door! It’s also located in such a convenient area to grab a taxi right out front. We loved the hotel bar and delicious breakfast. The staff was great and even helped us reserve dinner when we first arrived. We were also treated to a glass of cava. Our room was beautiful and the rooftop patio made me never want to leave! Housekeeping came everyday.

Good location allowing exploring historic area and beyond plus the Aero bus was just minutes from our hotel on thé Plaça. We enjoyed having a balcony which overlooked Plaça Catalonia. Very comfy bed mattress and pillows and excellent bedding overall. Friendly and helpful staff who speak multiple languages including English and who kindly let you practice your Spanish.

It's a pity that there isn't space for a lobby area to allow guests to congregate. We went in late afternoons to the P level breakfast and bar and library area but we were there in our own. The huge sheet towels are overkill and unnecessary. The shower is quite slippery and requires a shower mat or a daily paper shower mat. We didn't remember to put our please clean sign out. We were surprised that the staff wanted to make up our room very late in the day. Our learning is to use the sign so staff know when to come into your room. We wished the pool was in site but it's not.

Location is excellent! We had some issues with the booking, but Gabriela did everything possible for us to have a pleasant stay. Angelique is difficult to deal with. The hotel needs to be updated. Elevator stopped working. Gabriela had to carry all luggages down the stairs, they should have a man to do that job, I felt so sorry for her.
