Location - the hotel was in a great spot to see the sites and get to the main shopping areas quickly - we walked to most places. Room - we had a family room, there were the 2 of us and 2 kids. The room size was ideal for us. We had a room with a patio that went straight onto the outdoor space, the kids really loved this. Breakfast - was good, and you could oder some items (Pancakes, eggs etc...) as with all buffets things can get a bit repetitive.

There was one day that room service did not attend, but I assume this was an oversight as staff were overall attentive, polite and helpful. The pool if you could call it that was very small, the kids wanted to still go in so would have been great if it was a bit bigger.

Great location; less than 10 minutes walk from Plaça Catalunya. Quiet neighbourhood; only noise was from the room next to us. Comfortable beds/rooms. We loved the decor, lighting and the toiletries in the room. Terrace bar was lovely to relax and enjoy some delicious sangria. The breakfast was excellent; we especially enjoyed the freshly made juices, the selection of fresh fruit and baked goods.

The guests in the room next to us were very noisy and woke us up several times during the night shouting and banging doors. We mentioned it to reception but we didn't ask to move rooms. Perhaps they might have moved us if we had asked.

We liked everything during our stay. We received a warm welcome from Adrian at the reception and his colleague who helped us with our bags. The staff at breakfast were outstanding. Special thanks to Alicia who went out of her way to assist us, and nothing was too much trouble. She gave us a lot of tips for what to see and do in Barcelona. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was excellent as it was very close to all of the top attractions. The breakfast was superb.

The coffee could have been better as it was very weak and no taste. There were only two English speaking channels (news) on the TV. We could not find any option to add subtitles to any other mainly Spanish channels.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was great, tho gluten-free options were limited (there were a few on the menu, just not available during my stay). Staff was great and very friendly. I also loved the aesthetic of the main parts of the hotel. Housekeeping was very thorough. Wi-fi was great for work tho rooms were not really equipped with work area

The shower door leaked a bit so there was water on the bathroom floor each time it was used. But housekeeping would clean it all up and replace floor towels each day.

We came to Barcelona to relax and see the city. The location of the hotel is very good. The biggest attractions are within a 10 minute walk or by public transport. The building and rooms are wonderful and clean. There is a separate gluten-free menu for breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic, as described! The staff is helpful and very nice. We even received a gift in our room. We were able to communicate in our native language, which is unusual since we are Hungarians. Thank you everyone!

The room was more spacious than expected and felt more like a suite. Nice to have a small balcony looking onto the street. The bed was large and comfortable with nice bed linen and pillows. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods and the breakfast area was very relaxing. Staff were all lovely and very attentive. The hotel was located within a few minutes walk of several metro stations and within short walking distance to many of the sights and main shopping areas so ideally located. There are also several cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. Although outwith the busiest areas there was, as anticipated, some traffic noise overnight.

Traffic noise disturbed us a bit overnight but only because we're not used to it. It was something we had expected due to the location. Obviously it's outwith the hotels control when within a busy city.

I wanted to change room type because 2 of us were not travelling but the hotel never replied although they were very responsive with the rest of my query. I asked again on arrival and was kindly told that my booking was non refundable, a bit of flexibility would have been appreciated Aside from the property is great.

Room was spacious and was divided into two (whilst still feeling connected) so the children had an area and so did the adults. Very attentive and helpful staff. The pool is ideal for children - deep enough to play, not too deep that you worry.

Breakfast food was delightful. However the structure of it (how to order food) could be clearer on the first day (so you know how it operates) but once you get that - it flows fine.

The hotel is in a great location, it's really easy to get around from there. It's comfortable, clean and staff were friendly/helpful, particularly at breakfast. There was a problem with the hot water on our first day. The issued was resolved by the following morning and Icon gave us a part-refund without being asked which was a nice surprise. They also left some sweets and drinks in the room with a note of apology. This was also a nice touch. We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, 15 years and 12 years) in a quadruple room which was big and spacious enough. I would definitely stay at Icon again if we return to Barcelona.

Hotel is located on a quite street but at the same time is very central. Breakfast is one of the best I had in a hotel (and we’ve been to Barcelona many time mes before). The hotel staff is on another level! Guys from the front desk are genuinely attentive and friendly, and the hotel manager Alicia is a gem. She made our stay in the hotel really special by her constant attention to our family (and other guests equally) needs.
