Beautiful boutique hotel in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Friendly staff, nightly wine & cheese gathering, in-house restaurant, delicious hot & cold buffet breakfast. Small but very comfortable room (light & airy). Enjoyed the Turkish spa with relaxing massage, the 24-hour expresso machine, and the availability of a clothes washer & dryer. Great views from the rooftop lounge and pool.

Very nice boutique hotel that has an organic, minimalistic look and feel. I booked a double twin room - I'm not sure if that's what I ended up getting or if it was just a king-size bed, but either way, the room was a decent size for two people. The beds were comfy as well. The hotel was situated within the Gothic Quarter, so it was within walking distance to restaurants in that area. We were also a block away from the subway for the L1 and L4, too. I booked breakfast with my package, and the hotel served both cold and hot breakfast. The hot breakfast was great. I mostly would order the Spanish omelet, which was delicious. The staff at breakfast was very attentive to us each morning - special shout out to Wendy, who always had a smile on her face. We also did the spa one day - I ended up doing a 30-minute massage - wish I had booked a longer time slot. You get the spa pool for 30 mins as well, but since no one else had booked a spa, the staff let us stay for about 2 hrs, which was nice. We did the rooftop pool as well. The rooftop pool I will say is very narrow and shallow but regardless it was nice and had a beautiful voew of the city.

The plumbing in the shower would sometimes let out a foul smell. We spoke to our cleaning lady about it and she tried to flush the drain, but there's not much she could do. Also, it seemed that the pipes were clogged somewhat because anything longer than a 5-minute shower, the water spills over the lip of the shower onto the bathroom floor. We constantly had to use the towels to soak up the water. Also, there should be no glass in the showers. The 4-minute vial challenge that's on the wall fell one day and had glass all over the shower floor, which is a safety hazard. These glass vials should be removed from all rooms.

The hotel was an absolute dream from start to finish. I am not normally one to write a review, but this hotel and its staff were just amazing. The staff on reception were always happy help, offering recommendations, booking taxis, nothing ever too much trouble. Staff at the rooftop bar were also equally friendly, particularly Karen and Ben who went out of their way to make sure you had drinks and always with a smile. My partner and I were there celebrating a special birthday and one night we decided to eat at the hotel at the rooftop bar. Karen moved a table for us to ensure that we had the absolute best view of the city, which was just so special. When we arrived the hotel left a birthday note and chocolates for my partner’s birthday. The decor and atmosphere was gorgeous and rich, but still homely. Rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast was also great, fresh and tasty. What a great hotel, made fantastic by its staff. Will definitely be back!

This is not necessarily a negative but the was a little on the hard side for me.

Lovely clean hotel, good location, rooftop terrace was great and so was the spa, they also have towels in the spa and rooftop terrace for guests to use. The staff on the rooftop terrace were lovely and there was cold flavoured water in the reception for guests to drink when they entered the hotel. Lovely city

The left hand lift was not working properly, a few of us got stuck in it, we were going up and down in it until another person called the lift, the alarm bell didn’t appear to work either. This also happened a couple more times to other guests whilst we were there. We reported this to reception and the lady there did not seem fazed, however the man on reception in the evening was lovely and was going to report it. The Photo Booth also was not working over the 4 days we were there. Mini bar in the rooms seemed over priced, especially with a supermarket next door. Also nothing to do with the hotel, just a note for others - pick pocket/scamming issues in the city.

We had a beautiful roomy room (only 2 rooms on each floor are that spacious others have the bathroom in the entryway). The pool was amazing and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast.

The rooms are nice and have a modern feel but they are not that practical. There are only 2 hooks to hang something up. With two pieces of swimwear, we had no where to dry towels or bathrobes, really unpractical! The toilet roll holder was crocked, not something bad but something a pricy hotel like that should fix immediately. Our other travelling compagnons had a bathroom where the sink (and shower) leaked, staff took actions to help but the sink was only fixed after mentioning it a second time. So a very nice experience but some small points where the hotel can still make a big change to improve the quality you get for the price.

The hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was excellent, with a very large and comfortable king size bed and had an additional bed in our room for our son. The breakfast was exceptional and excellent value for money. The spa facilities were amazing and again, the staff were really helpful and friendly. The views from the roof top terrace were magnificent. The location of the hotel is very good - Chloe by major attractions, museums, transport and cafes and restaurants. We will definitely come back to this hotel the next time we are In Barcelona.

Fantastic location with absolutely wonderful staff! The lobby immediately welcomes you with a signature scent and cozy and swanky vibes. Yurbban has two properties side by side which is awesome as the Trafalgar property has a wine reception each night and it gives guests the option of TWO rooftops! The staff in the restaurant at breakfast started our days off beautifully (Wendy and Marecki) The breakfast selections were great but their lovely greetings and quick service were truly exceptional. We will most definitely return!

The hotel room had little to no storage for clothing and personal items, which would be okay for a couple days but we found challenging since we were there for six nights. It forced us to live out of our suitcases and with the small space, that really had us feeling crowded and messy. The SPA was nice but not exceptional. Massages were okay and the room did not have music or lighting to set the tone so we found it difficult to drop into the relaxation. I tried a facial the following day which was wonderful!

We arrived very early at about 8.30 am. I had informed the hotel of our early arrival and requested for an early check in. To my surprise when we got to the hotel, the nice girl at the reception told us that our room should be ready within the hour! She recommended a place nearby for breakfast and texted us to say that our room was ready soon after. That was very nice and much needed after a very long flight, so thank you. Locationwise the hotel is quite central, with a ‘back alley’ filled with shops and restaurants. Our room size was average; interesting that the wash basin was by the wardrobe outside the bathroom. There was no lounge chair, just one ‘desk’ chair in the room. But the bed and pillows were very comfortable. One evening we attended the wine-o’clock from 6.30-7.30 pm at the sister hotel next door where there was complimentary red/white wine, sangria and cheese. We had a comfortable 4-night stay here.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, and amazing staff. The breakfast was SO GOOD! They had so many options and even gluten free bread, which was such a treat. The laundry room was a nice option to have, but it was slow.

Amazing hotel, no big complaints. The only suggestion is that would be helpful if there was a way to notify other guests when the laundry was available or complete, as we waited hours for other people to remove their laundry. The machines were also very slow. It would be great to potentially add a second machine if possible.

We loved every part of our stay in Barcelona at Yurbban Passage Hotel, from the minute we were welcomed by Fran at reception, together with his colleagues. The service was truly exceptional, and we felt warmly received from the start. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful, making our 10-year wedding anniversary celebration unforgettable. They surprised us with glasses of cava, a heartfelt handwritten note, and a sweet treat to mark our special occasion, a gesture that deeply touched us. The spa was another highlight—absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and a true oasis in the city. We were especially grateful that they kindly accommodated our 5-year-old son, despite their usual age policy. Wine hour was a delightful experience, offering free-flowing wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks in a cozy and inviting setting. Their restaurant and service recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our overall experience in Barcelona. The thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, like uplifting messages and affirmations on the amenities, added a personal and unique charm. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of tasty options to start the day. Special thanks to Fran at the front desk for his exceptional kindness and attentiveness—he made checking in and out seamless and pleasant. Yurbban Passage Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. It truly felt like a home away from home.
